This place is the best !! Excellent in every way! Everything from the reception to the care quality is absolutely the best. I suffer from a sprained wrist and went to two other Urgent cares in the area, but none is even close to STATMED at Countryside Mall. Not only were they able to see me in a timely manner but they were able to do X-Rays on site (on a Sunday!) and provide a prescription to help with the pain. Thank you Rachel and Jennifer and everyone else who helped. In addition, they recommended that I see an Orthopedic doctor and gave me the name of one that took me on short notice, because I was referred by STATMED. Had Weather related Migraines with auras two days in a a row Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Had not had these for over 14 years came out of the blue doctors offices are open during the holidays so I went to Stat med urgent care in Countryside Mall. From the very start, the staff, the physician's assistant, the nurse, everybody was reasonable, understood exactly what my problem was, took excellent care of me, prescribed the right medicine, and had me in and out of there lickety-split. I'm so grateful for the excellent treatment I received. I picked up my prescription, and now I have my pills on hand in case I get another one of these strange migraines. Update: I was supposed to pay over $250 but since all I got was a COVID swab and a short exam they billed it zero same as every other COVID swab. I know all the clinics are busy right now and the staff is doing their best, not faulting the staff. The process is broken. I'm Sick with a fever and the pick is of me sitting on the ground because there's only two chairs up front and seven inside. I'm still waiting to be seen behind a bunch of COVID only tests to be seen by a provider it's been over two hours but I'm not sick enough for an ER but too sick for my private doc. I went to these guys after a car accident to get checked out. They seemed nice and helpful. I couldn't complain about the service I got...except for the fact that I was there for 4 hours. The doctors were knowledgeable and thorough. The reason for my 1 star review is because it seemed like they were just trying to gouge my insurance. For me examination and X-rays they have so far charged over $1300! This took almost all of my Medpay but they didn't treat me, so now I have to get creative on paying for my treatment. Also, I told them explicitly that I didn't want pain killers or muscle relaxers as I don't like drugs. The doctor told me that was fine and that they'd at least give me a prescriptions so I could pick it up if I wanted to. A few minutes later a different doctor came in and handed me a form and asked me to sign. Then she handed me a bad of prescription medication. I told her I didn't need it and she said I could have it just in case I did. Not telling me the price or anything. Now..in hindsight. I shouldn't have taken it or signed a form, so that's on me. What I didn't appreciate is that it seems like they were trying to milk my insurance for all they could and just push pills. NOT what I'm looking for when I'm trying to get care. I wouldn't go here again and I would never refer anyone to them. read more

I needed emergency services over the weekend due to what I thought may be an infected tooth. I ended up coming here and was very pleasantly surprised by staff and cleanliness of office. Paperwork was easy and quick and I was taken right away and see by PA who confirmed that I had an infected tooth and sent antibiotics to my pharmacy. I gave five stars due to very friendly staff and their concern of patient. I would recommend anyone who lives within the area if emergency service is needed that do not hesitate to go there. Excellent service and friendly stuffs. I came in on Christmas Day and the clinic was super busy and crowded. However, the stuffs were super friendly and efficient. Each of them trying their best to serve individual patient needs. Dr. Jody and her assistant were very patient and professional. After a week of dealing with some type of URI, followed by 2 long days with the migraine from hell, I finally threw in the towel and came here to get some help. I usually go to the walk in clinic nearby in the Lowe's plaza, but my mom checked this place out and said it got good reviews, so we went. We arrived right when they opened so there was not a long wait, luckily, since I could barely open my eyes from the lovely migraine. The lobby seemed clean enough and the front desk staff was efficient. I saw the physician's assistant Tamara, who determined that she thought I had a sinus infection and sent in a few prescriptions to my pharmacy. Of course, all this has happened during the 1 month of my entire life that I didn't have health insurance, so 10 minutes with a PA cost me almost $300. I am sort of bitter about that fact, but such is life. Still cheaper than the ER. I hope I don't have to come here again, but if the need arises, I will. read more

I got sick on December 23 and naturally my doctors office was closed for Christmas. I went and saw Dr. Muller at StatMed and was so surprised that there was no waiting. Best experience I've ever had at an urgent care. Hardly any wait and super attentive, kind staff. I don't have health insurance, I was visiting from out of town, and had a bad cough and was really nervous the experience was going to be expensive, long, and complicated but it was anything but. Janelle, the PA who saw me, listened to all my worries and gave me good, comprehensive care and instructions. I was a 18D Combat Medic of 23 years and he was dead on with his diagnosis of my better half with an upper respiratory infection...I really liked how they really did not waste time trying to find information on your medical insurance coverage they try they best to get you seen by the doctor as fast as possible...the bed side manner of Dr. Muller and his genuine concern of your well-being companied by the great customer service of his staff is were the 5 stars were earned. I was sick so decided I'd better be tested for Covid. Signed in at 530pm and was still not seen at 8 pm. One lady had been waiting 3 hours and one man had been waiting 4 hours. I am normally a patient person however, after 3 different people walked in long after I did and had tests, I became upset and said something. I was not rude; just matter of fact but the receptionist was rude and defensive. She was going to make me wait until after 4 more people so I left. This place is not right. The receptionist was pulling strings for certain people. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Found a much better place directly across from there. read more

Dr. Mark and staff were outstanding and friendly. I highly recommend this place of business to anyone that needs medical attention. They can do a wide variety of testings in house which is cost effective and saves us a trip to the local ER. They performed their testing quickly and effectively allowing me to leave there with piece of mind. I have been a patient on and off for a few years.. Never again! The quality of care is acceptable but the back office is terrible. A bit over a year ago, I went to Statmed for xrays following an auto accident. On two previous occasions I informed them that my attorney was handling the bills. They kept dunning me and then threatened collections despite several attempts on my part to get them to send the bill to the attorney. Today the doctor claiming to be the owner, a prissy, thin-skinned man named Muller called me. When I told him if the billing had been done correctly the first or the second time, he'd have been paid already. That made him angry and he started telling me how to address him. Evidently, doctors *still* expect to be treated like demi-gods. Forget it! There are plenty of urgent care centers to choose. read more

I have used StatMed several times instead of the ER. I am continually impressed with how MUCH these ER doctors offers without a wait and a big ER bill! The first time I was terribly lethargic, nauseas and vomiting. They drew my blood, ran labs and gave me IV fluids. I was home and feeling significantly better in less than 1 1/2 hours. They even faxed my evaluation to my family doctor!! The second time I hurt my ankle playing soccer- it was late- 930pm or so, even. They performed X-rays and determined I had a fracture and treated me. They do EVERYTHING!! They explained they are even able to treat pediatrics so as a mother of three children I was even more impressed. Unless me or my family needed an ambulance I would never bother with an ER ever again. StatMed staff and Emergency Care is FIVE stars- convenient, clean, affordable, fast and very professional. read more

I had a severe headache going on 13 days, and after I was seen by another clinic that wanted to rush me right through the hospital CT scanner, I decided to stop at Stat Med for a second opinion. The staff was courteous, and Mark Mueller actually spent time with me to listen to my description of the issue. I'm a competitive SCUBA spear fisherman, so it's very important that I am able to get healed up so that I can go back to my sport quickly. Because Mark took the time to listen to exactly what was going on, he was able to prescribe me the correct medications and I'm happy to say that three days later I'm feeling 100% better, and ready to fish tomorrow. So many medical professionals have a lost that bedside manner, that caring and concern, but not Mark. I'm confident in his abilities, and I am looking forward to seeing him again if the need arises. I actually do not live in the area (I live about an hour away), but The drive would be worth it to see Mark again if needed in the future. Dr. Mueller and MorningStar, one of the staff members, made my trip to this urgent care center as relaxing and comfortable as possible. I came in with an earbud stuck in my ear canal and was in excruciating pain. Him and his staff took their time and made the painful process of removing it, as painless as possible. I am no easy patient, and throughout the process they checked on me periodically, bringing me water and providing comfort. It was quite a traumatic experience for me, I didn't think it was ever coming out!!! I am glad that I chose this clinic as opposed to the ER...it was first thing in the morning with no wait and couldn't have asked for a better staff. Fantastic urgent care! This an easy in, easy out and no drama facility! Ive been there for a family member multiple times and just recently for myself. There is never a long wait, which is unheard of at an urgent care facility these days. The staff are incredibly friendly and compassionate. They are reasonable and listen to your needs. It's clean and has state of the art technology. Now if only we could get a decent 24-hour pharmacy in the area, because you know you always need to make a trip there when you are done at urgent care! read more

The BEST!!! I can't say enough positive things... I took my 12 year old daughter to StatMed, when I could not get into see her own doctor and after being told that there was a 2 hour wait at the Diagnostic Walk-In Clinic. My daughter was in need of fluids due to dehydration, she was repeatedly throwing up (even at her doctors office) and StatMed was able to see her immediately and offered the help she needed. I can honestly say that the entire staff was friendly, caring, helpful and I felt my daughter was in excellent hands. Dr Mark was thorough, knowledgeable and kind. My daughter received first class service. I HIGHLY recommend StatMed and I'm beyond thankful for the care they gave to my daughter along with a follow up call later that night. I went to this urgent care just to get a second opinion on an issue I was having. I walked in and was kindly welcomed by penny. She also took my X-rays and was very knowledgable. Giovanna (sp?) was wonderful as well. She took my blood and got it with one try, which from past experiences hasn't happened a lot. Doctor mark was great as well.
