Town Square Park is great for families! It has a water section such as splash pads, climbing areas and fixtures, trampolines, and so much more! There is shaded areas where you can sit at too inside the park area! The park is super clean too! It can get relatively busy though. When my family and I stopped by on a Thursday evening, the park was super busy! There are a lot of events and venues at the park area! There are events such as movie nights, farmers markets, free Yoga classes, and so much more! During the holidays, you'll see holiday celebration and parades! The majority of these events at this venue are free!! I remember the old park when there was a huge maze and a tree house! The newly renovated park is a lot different and unique compared to how it was previously. Both park designs are great though! The Town Square Park is a great place to stop and relax! We ended up getting a Funnel Cake with some ice cream and ate it next to the Town Square Park!

This is a great playground for kids and family, and there's bench seating around the park. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. Every month, they offer an array of activities, fitness, and entertainment. On Wednesdays from September 4 through October 9 is The Miss Fairy G Kid's Show, it's a lovely story telling from 11am to 12pm. The show is magically entertaining and Miss Fairy G delights children with her message of kindness and well-being, which is so amazing! There's also free movies every Friday at sundown from September 6 to October 11. The 2024 movie lineup is family-friendly and includes Disney's Wish, Trolls, Migration, Kung Fu Panda 4, Paw Patrol, and Elemental. They even have concerts and performances by local artists, fashion shows, and upcoming special events, such as the 2024 Wine Walk and Town Scary Halloween Party. This is a great open space to gather with friends, family, and kids. The environment is nice and very welcoming!

This park also has a pretty decent field that you can play games on. On my visit to the park, there was a family that had set up a soccer goal nets and were getting their game on. The park is almost next door to a police station, so for some reason that makes me feel a little bit safer. There isn't so much a parking lot but plenty of parking on the street. People like to bring their dogs here I noticed, but they do not bring them in the play areas.

The park itself was OK, but in spite of there being a box of poop bags available, there were several god poops left on the grass, especially right in the most convenient patch of grass. Pecolle Little League uses the baseball fields as their designated fields, so am at the park often. The bathroom by the field is largely maintained by the snack shack so most of the time will be supplied and clean. The fields are in fair shape as well with dug outs and a sitting stand area on each side. There is ample parking and some of the parking is actually covered. There are some homeless/people that park in the park, but they are on the side near the play area. I do see regular cops that patrol them and the area, so they don't seem to really bother anyone. There is a small play area and some grass area with trees. The ice cream man makes a regular appearance.

Thank you it is always clean and looks great! The flowers here in the spring (and other seasons too), but the spring especially, are quite nice. Walking path is a bit small but if you loop a few times you can get a good walk in with a nice park around you. Playground area is expansive, grass is nice, there are some tables throughout, and bathrooms as well. Located right off of the Main Street by the water park so you do hear some noise, but it's still a nice park.

Then a guy came by and my puppy tried to play with his dog but he wasn't having it, but my puppy was so excited I couldn't catch him. The guy screamed and was aggressive. Other people were shocked by his behavior too. I end up catching my dog and keeping him with me on leash. The guy went to the park guard that laughed in his face for his behavior, then the guy left. The water system was not working within displayed hours: it's 2 poor elephants. Then homeless showed up to go in there. We left and went to another park. I will never ever be back here, even the other people were friendly, there's a mean man around I rather avoid. And the playground needs maintenance urgently.

At 21 acres, Paradise Park is one of the oldest parks in Las Vegas. It was built in 1964 and…read moreexpanded in 1977. It is a 21 acre island in a sea of rooftops and parking lots. Located between Harrison and McLeod Drive north of Tropicana Avenue, it is a green island that is off the coast of the Tropicana at McLeod Walmart asphalt sea. To make a long story short, Paradise Park is a decent spot to take a breather or exercise in a busy part of the Las Vegas valley. Although I have lived in the Las Vegas valley since 2004, last Tuesday was my first time here. I had passed by it several times on McLeod. From the time that I spent here my impression was that it is a decent park. As far as maintaining the park, I give the Clark County Parks Department kudos for keeping it relatively clear of graffiti and vandalism. However, there is room for improvement on the grass. Instead of the golf course green grass prevalent at the parks throughout the valley, the grass here could use some watering. From my observation, the elongated parking lot seemed to divide the park into two quadrants. The south quadrant featured the Community Center, lighted basketball hoops, softball fields, a seasonal water park, and an abundance of shaded picnic tables. The north quadrant featured a playground, restrooms, and an attractive paved red trail that encircled it. The red trail included a fitness station that seemed to be vandalism free. Being a hiker, my favorite part of the park was the attractive red trail. Walking on it kind of felt like walking on a red version of the Yellow Brick Road. I think that the red trail created a nice color pattern with the green grass and bordering mature trees. Considering that this park dates back to 1964, I would like to think that a few of the trees must be as old as Beatlemania. The focal point of the red trail was the playground on the mound. Although this was a very short trail, I mentally connected me to the far longer nearby hiking trails that have added miles to my life. At the time of my visit in the late morning, I felt safer in the north quadrant. In the southwest part of the park there were far less people. With safety on my mind, I passed over venturing too close to the baseball fields and basketball fields, to find out if all the men hanging out there were homeless. On the other hand, at the north quadrant of the park, there were plenty of people which created a sense of safety. I observed senior citizens and younger people bonding with their dogs. There were plenty of joggers on the attractive red trail. And families made use of the playground. Me: I walked around and took pictures. If I didn't feel safe, I would have kept my phone in the pocket and returned to my car. An additional observation I made about safety is that there were a sufficient amount of light poles including the street lights along the red trail. As far as connectivity, it doesn't link up to trails that lead to other parks. However, when it comes to connectivity, it is easily accessible to the surrounding community and the recreation center. There is an abundance of frontage at the east periphery alongside McLeod Drive and sufficient frontage at the west border alongside Harrison. These two streets connect the park to several houses, apartments, and businesses. These nearby businesses include Dutch Brothers Coffee, Walmart, McDonald's, restaurants, and more. Being in close proximity to so many businesses and homes, this park is a convenient place for a picnic. When all is said and done, although Paradise Park falls short of paradise, it is a good park in Paradise Township. The County has obviously put some money into the park. This includes the red trail that encircles the northern quadrant. I rate Paradise Park Three Stars meaning "It is a solid park."
