Storytime: I am in education field and came to get my Medical Evaluation paperwork filled out. I came on 05/04/24 a Saturday to get the form filled out. There was one portion on the form the Tuberculosis test which was a shot in my arm that needed to be checked in 2 days then the form would be completed. sidenote: my problem is NOT with the policy itself but with the fact that i was not informed of this policy until AFTER paying my original copay and AFTER being seen the second time on 05/07/24. So, I come in like I was told, without making an appointment, LIKE I WAS TOLD, and once I arrive they are telling me it will be over an hour wait. Comical, because I had to return to work, so I begged the receptionist and nurse there to get me seen since it would take 2 seconds to view my results and sign my paper, so thats what happened. I was sooooo happy and felt like this would be a great day. Unfortunately, after seeing the nurse practitioner, I was told to get my signed paper from the receptionist who THEN told me I was due ANOTHER copay like I said, if this is you alls policy I cant change that.... HOWEVER WHY WOULD U NOT TELL ME THIS BEFORE? can you even do that? see someone and then make up a fee after????? since i didnt even have my purse because why would I? They said they would bill me, so im pissed. i get the form and go. to make matters worse the form wasnt complete so I had to go back in after viewing it in the car. upon doing so, some gay male with a light skin tone, decided to repeat everything the polite receptionist had already said. re-telling me id be billed, retelling me their dumb policy as if i didnt already hear this AND holding my now completed paperwork. adding in i "need to lose my attitude" and "watch my mouth" SIR GIVE ME MY PAPER SO I CAN LEAVE lol. like he really took it upon himself to speak to me unprovoked, i didnt ask any more questions nor was I rude to the receptionist. meaning there was no reason for him to input his 2cents. he definitely needs to be removed from anything with customer service immediately. Came to me with IMMEDIATE disrespect and SASS and was shocked when I matched energy. Like sister girl YOU are at work not the club. watch YOUR mouth Holding my paper as if he had ANY reason to touch them at all. Then proceeding to run his mouth as I was leaving just ghetto. And all this because the receptionist, nor the nurse, nor the doctor communicated that there would be a second doctor visit, resulting in a second copay. However, her care is worth it to me. She's always thorough with any issues and makes sure to order all and any bloodwork or tests needed to assure us that things are ok. That matters to me. We've had three other pediatricians. She's been the most thorough and takes however much time needed with each patient which is likely why she's always backed up.

I arrived on time for my 9:15am (first appointment of the morning) to find the waiting room full! I did not have to wait long, but I would definitely recommend arriving early, especially if you are a new patient or have to fill out paperwork. I can only imagine that their schedules get backed up later in the day. Dr. Horwitz was great - he covered all of the basics, asked follow-up questions, patiently answered my questions, but kept me there no longer than needed. It was a perfect balance of not feeling rushed, but not having an appointment take any longer than needed. The facility is nice too. It is sometimes hard to find native English speaking doctors with clean offices in this area (my personal preference). I'm sure he accepts many types of insurance, but mine is Aetna HMO.

I went to an ER which I should have from jump and my situation was way worse than I thought. I had renal failure! There were no openings at any of the MinuteClinics and walk-in waits were upwards of 1 hour. I looked around and Yelp helped me find this clinic. I've been to this shopping center hundreds of times and obliviously missed that this exists, maybe because nowhere in the signage does it say "Urgent Care". There were only a few patients on a Sunday afternoon, and I was checked in right away by a friendly young male staff who had the normal requests for information, ID, insurance, and signatures on disclaimers too long to read. A cordial and helpful doctor's assistant took my vitals, led me to a patient room, and a PA-C came in within minutes to do an assessment. The entire visit was under 30 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised how fast, courteous, and professional everyone was and how convenient this facility is. The cost of the visit and tests will of course vary based on your insurance plan, but luckily it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I hope to not have a need to visit again for illness but if I had to pick a place for such a need I would choose this one.

We are still new patients; my daughter's first visit was less than two weeks ago. Everyone we encountered was very nice and personable. Even when I scheduled the appointment, the receptionist was very kind and patient. There was not any long wait times... just a typical 5-10min here and there. My daughter enjoyed her visit up until her immunization shot lol. The rooms are definitely kids friendly and they have toys to keep children at ease. My husband and daughter returned yesterday for a sick visit and it was super easy to schedule! He also told me that it was empty and he had no wait time. My latest placement brought me to this facility. Like many of the doctors in the area, they don't have a lab in-office, but have the basics for getting an annual physical. As a new member, I had to fill out some forms, and then the medical assistant weighed me and measured my height. In the past, I've had to face the wall for those, and this time I faced away from the wall... that's new for me! And my blood pressure was taken with one of the small machines, not one of the big ones. Is that the new trend? I always considered the big machines the 'professional' ones for the office, and the small ones were for personal use. I'm willing to bet studies showed there's no significant difference between the two. And then my EKGs got taken... seamless process. I then had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hassan. He was very professional, open to any questions or concerns, and overall a nice guy. He sent me off to get lab work done nearby, and then I returned to discuss those results. He kept it 100% and didn't immediately want to prescribe medicine for some high numbers I have... I appreciate his expertise. For anyone in the area, I can't find a reason to recommend someone besides Dr. Hassan.
