Our party of 3 had early dinner at Chili's, around 4:15pm. We were seated right away. I enjoyed the new $6 Margarita, which was very refreshing. Our server was the lovely Mimi, who was personable, efficient, & knowledgeable about the menu and Chilis Rewards. Ms Mimi really took care of us and made our dinner a real nice outing. We ordered the chips and salsa with the Rewards. I liked the thin chips and the salsa was not chunky and had a little bite (spice). I had Ribs with BarB Q sauce, French fries and a side salad. Ribs were tasty and tender. The fries were good and the salad was fresh and crispy. Everyone enjoyed their choices (lots of dishes to choose from). We had a great experience! The waitstaff was friendly and the service was quick. We ordered the bottomless chips and salsa. The chips were thin, crispy, and warm. The salsa was a bit spicy but that is the way we like it. The food came out hot and the orders were correct. We both had the old timer with cheese. The burger was hot and delicious. The meat had a flame cooked taste - could have used a little salt though. The roll was soft and the toppings were fresh testing. Chili's is One of those places I sort of brushed aside because "they just can't be any good". As is so pathetically true about many of my assumptions, I was wrong. I ate there a few times, waiting to find something I could criticize. I never did. Salads were good, burgers were pretty good. My favorite was a Cajun chicken pasta. They don't skimp on the chicken or Alfred sauce. It's well seasoned, but not too spicy. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. They seem to have a lot of turnover among the wait staff, but my servers were all friendly, and attentive. My big rub with them is that device on the tables to pay. I'm sorry, but I expect to have payment as part of the service. Paying with cash becomes almost embarrassing. There were 4 of us wanting separate bills. It was frustrating trying to make sure each paid his own bill. When we asked to have our server for some help, we were told how easy it was. We ended up leaving enough cash on the table to cover our meals and a tip. So, food is good, portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and if the whole pay at the table thing doesn't bother you I can recommend chili's. read more

I've been coming here since 2011 & it's going downhill FAST. They got new cooks who don't know how to probably cook a steak to medium? I ordered a steak last week and it came out WELL done... set it back & again, it was WELL done. Ew. Went to Chili's for lunch. This was my first time at this location. We were greeted right away and given a booth. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu, and was attentive throughout our meal. I got one of the specials which had jalapeño sausage, ribs, Mexican corn, fries, and garlic bread. Just 1 star on service for take out... Walked inside to place order at go station, look around the corner and the young lady was on the phone, said she would be right with me. Sat at bar and after 5 mins, the bar tender asked if she could help, said she could take Order. I know her station is in a around bar so, I understand when she got pulled. After 10 more minutes, I looked around the corner for the go person, she had moved on. Never had the chance to order after 15 minutes. Left and went to Applebee's. As good as any Chili's around. It's going to be hard for any Chili's to get 5 stars from me, as much as I like the food. I started one of the first in FL back in the 80's when they were all about the chili, had 13 different burgers, tacos, and were the first to introduce fajitas to the world. Back then, there were no steaks and the fries came in a huge basket, not a tiny wire container. Anyway, this is as good as a Chili's can be in its current iteration. The place is clean, the service is very friendly and it is what you'd expect from the chain these days. I noticed the Presidente margarita is smaller and so is the glass to drink it in from since back in 2000 when we got our own mixer and the recipe from the Chili's in Augusta. Still a good place to eat compared to its competitors- Applebee's, Chi Chi's, etc. The highlight is their new kiosks that let you pay your bill and leave when you are ready, rather than waiting on the check! read more

One of my favorite go to places. I usually order from the appetizer menu. My kids love the Cajun chicken pasta. Nephew loves the burgers.

This was by far the worst experience EVER!!! We had 9 people on our ticket so we expected to wait, even though we had a 530 reservation. We ordered pickles it took 20 minuted and they were burnt. We all got our orders in at the same time, one half of the table got their food 25 minutes before the rest. All our food was either burnt or over cooked. They gave us cold coffee and when we said something they brought us burnt coffee. When we ordered the brisket quesadilla they had jalapeño in them which wasn't on the menu. My sister asked the waitress if she could get something else 20 min later her ribs came out. The waitress told my sister she could keep the quesadilla. The guy who brought the ribs out told my sister that he had to take the quesadilla back cuz she swapped it out. Our bill was $208 and we didn't enjoy any part of this experience. The service and quality of food was horrendous. I don't understand how this can be a popular chain restaurant. McDonald's probably would've been better. No matter what we asked for we either didn't get or had to ask multiple times. read more

The manager brought out two extra tenders that were actually normal size but were cold. They tried to get this right but I guess it just wasn't their night or ours. Two waitresses were sweeping the floor at the tables next to us and one even swept under our table while we were eating. I took a napkin and covered my beverage/food until she finished sweeping. Also the loud noise of tables being dragged across the floor next to us, so they could sweep, made for an unpleasant dining experience. We ended up taking ours to go. Not sure where to start.. hmm the waitress who looked at us like we were crazy for daring to enter the restaurant to begin with. We picked three and it took FOREVER, and no joke they came out on three different plates at differing times with no explanation what was going on. While we waited we were privy to hearing who wanted whose man, how this girl wasn't gonna put up with this crap etc etc etc,.. literally right in front of us as we sat at the bar. We kept looking at one another incredulous. We just wanted to watch the game not chili's employees reality TV.. the food was grossly overcooked, served with no regard, and we felt hurried through our meal as the bartender reminded us they closed at 10..(we arrived at 845) and she would not care but this is her second job and she really hates when customers cause her to stay late making it hard to wake up for her "real" job. Learned she worked st a local healthcare center as I tried to make conversation to aleve the awkwardness. We had planned to finish Thursday night football and have a few more beers and dessert. That obviously did not happen and we asked for our check which the bartender was happy to provide. No dishes were ever cleared and we barely got a thank you as we signed our cc slip. Still tipped 20% but left with both of us agreeing... "wow I used to LOVE this place, not sure what happened but I will NEVER be back." First off, I hate restaurants that use both servers and kiosks for ordering. This Chili's utilizes the tableside ordering system, but also has servers. I sat in the bar area, which I usually do. We were assigned a server, the bartender, who would come up to us and ask us what we want. She then told us we could ring it in on the kiosk. What's the point of a server? A lot of the time she wouldn't even come to our table, but rather talk across the bar to our booth. The food was typical chain restaurant food, which I can't complain about. I love going out to eat at Chili's. This is usually reserved as a "girls night out" location, either with my friends or my daughters. This is my first time at the Aiken location. First of all, I want to say that on this particular occasion we went there with our softball team and their families. We completely mobbed them on a busy evening. We had to wait awhile, but we were all able to be seated together at different tables. You could see that the wait staff was a little confounded at first but they had a meeting and got a game plan going. Parents were sitting together and the girls were sitting together at other tables, and all the tickets were separate. The food was good, I believe I had the chicken quesadillas. Again, with our large party it did take some time to get our food but that was understandable. The waiter that served us was courteous and held it together in this stressful situation. He checked on us regularly & kept our drinks filled. I only had one complaint. The server that was assigned to my daughter's table was not nearly as professional as mine was. She had a bad attitude with the girls (who are loud but all of them are well behaved and have manners). She visibly would roll her eyes when my daughter would request something or ask a question, and she completely ignored her when she asked for a refill on her drink. I would still come here to eat. I think that she wouldn't have acted like that if my daughter had actually been seated with us. But my daughter is a customer just as I am and deserves to be treated with respect.
