And the chicken was pounded out really flat, which was the let down. Onion rings are really just extremely thin onions in a thick batter. Good crisp and flavor if that's the kind of onion ring you want. Menu was huge. Looking forward to going back and trying something else. Service was pretty good. Didn't catch her name though. The salsa was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. Service was probably the most frustrating part. We received our waters, but the other drinks we ordered -- a soda and a blended margarita -- didn't come. Our waitress was also extremely inattentive. She walked past our table several times and stopped to ask other tables how they were doing or whether they needed anything, but repeatedly passed us without even making eye contact. It was difficult to get her attention when we actually needed something. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the service. The kids' chicken had breading that barely stayed on the chicken and basically slid/fell right off, and the fries seemed barely cooked. The cheese enchilada was even more disappointing. It was smothered in what tasted and looked like melted processed American cheese rather than the type of cheese I would expect on a Mexican enchilada, and the tortilla itself seemed raw or seriously undercooked. I can overlook one disappointing item or a server having an off moment, but between the forgotten drinks, lack of attention, undercooked food, and overall quality of the meal, there just wasn't much about this visit that would make us want to return.
