    Chicken ranch nachos

I got the chicken ranch nachos for lunch and they were so good. The waitress was on point with all our drinks and food came out hot with no problems. The place was very clean as well.

For date night we went to Chill's! We ordered the trio saucea chip dip. My wife honey chrispers and was craving meat! I end up getting the small ribs, jalapeno cheese sausage, and steamed Broccoli. Gezz I couldn't not finish it all. But it sure did taste great. Our waitress was very nice and gave us some helpful options. We we're very happy and I was meat drunk. LOL! Thanks for a great time. The hostess was very professional and dressed nicely.

Food is always great, service can be slow but seems to be short staffed a lot which I understand they can't help. The servers make up for that with their kindness and great attitudes. I love coming here just to chat with friends and catch up.

Of all the chain restaurants, Chili's is one of the few that when one visits, one feels at home. And it is written that "Home is where the heart is." I've had an opportunity of having eaten at the Chili's in Boston, Massachusetts and of Miami, Florida, and both haven't disappointed me. On the contrary, I've given them my business by taking my college students to eat there (everyone paying for their meal) on the last day of class. So it was a pleasant surprise when I found out that Chili's would be opening in Roanoke, Virginia! Today, I decided to go try it out and see if it lived up to it's great reputation of the past and if the reputation of the ones located in two big cities can compare to the one in the Star City of the South. As we arrived at the restaurant, which is located in the surroundings of Tanglewood Mall, the building looked modern, very clean, and well designed, with large sparkling clean windows all around. It had its main entrance up front and a side entrance for To Go orders on the side of the building, with plenty of parking all around. As soon as we entered the building, the wonderful modern, yet cozy interior design of the restaurant, made you feel relaxed and comfortable. The host welcomed us with a big smile and sat us in a nicely located booth where we looked at the menus. They were nicely designed with pictures of some of the main items in the menu. It didn't take long for our waitress to show up to greet us and take our order with a big, friendly, and genuine smile. I ordered the Bacon Rancher: two juicy beef patties, six slices of cripy bacon, house-made ranch, American cheese, sautéed onions, and pickles. My friend ordered another of the same. As we waited, I downloaded the Chili's Reward app and signed up, after seeing an invitation on an electronic TV screen on the table that was also how the bill would be shown and paid at the end of our meal. A young man, who was also very friendly, brought our food to the table in a very reasonable time. And the burger looked as well as tasted delicious. The buns were soft and fresh, the paties were well cooked and juicy, the bacon were crunchy, and with lots of flavor, and even the slices of pickles were fresh and crunchy! Our waitress came by at the appropriate times filling our water glasses with ice water that, by the way, tasted like nice filtered water. This can't be said of many fine restaurants in town. For dessert, we ordered two small size Molten Chocolate Cakes. These have always been my favorite at Chili's. The young man brought us the desserts with sparkling colors highlighting the freshness of the desserts. It also was fresh and delicious. Just look at the pictures I took and one picture is worth a thousand words. The Chili's in Roanoke not only did not disappoint me, but rather greatly impressed me. One can say that the Star City now has the luxury of having a Star Chili's as one of its restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone in the Roanoke community and in nearby cities and towns. And will definitely be coming back for more!

    Old timer .

Service was terrible ...We order an appetizer that they never brought us. After waiting 30 plus minutes for our food they didn't give us the salad or soup. Bartender said they were having issues in kitchen. We notice others getting their food and appetizers. She said she would comp us for the inconvenience but she actually raised our prices instead on the check . Then when we pointed it out she was little snippy. Disappointed to say the least .

Food is awful. Wendy's and five guys have a much better burger. Takes forever to get your bill and then we were overcharged. The waitress said wait I'll be back and she never showed back up we had to get up to go find a manager. While we were sitting there the bill kept getting higher with drinks added.

So it's been open for about a month now, but there it is still quite a crowd. The food was good and properly prepared. There is plenty of staff and they were attentive. We got pretty much what we expected for this brand. It's much better than Applebees or TGIF. You get a consistent experience and we're glad they finally came to Roanoke!

When I first reviewed this little Mexican Restaurant located in a Marathon Gas Station in Vinton,…read moreVirginia, they had just started out and its restaurant's sign was just a custom vinyl banner covering up the U-Haul sign of the business that was there before. Yet the word out there was that this hole in the wall little restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. After being awarded the Triad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, I decided that it would be appropriate this year to go back to this restaurant and write a follow-up review, since my initial review was one of my reviews that contributed to me obtaining this highly esteemed Award. Today, this Hispanic family-owned restaurant remains a "hole in the wall" dining establishment, housed in a space out of a Marathon Gas Station. Their delicious Mexican Food from their origins in San Diego, California, and their reasonable prices, remain the same. Yet now they have a professional outdoor storefront sign, and they've changed their logo somewhat. The word Burrito in Spanish not only means the Mexican food item. It also means a little donkey; and originally their logo was a cute caricature of a little donkey. This was The house of the Little Donkey Taco Shop and Mexican Food. Inside the restaurant they still have a framed glass with this logo painted on it. Now they've substituted the little donkey with a food burrito. I'm not sure why they did the change. Maybe it was to promote their burritos. But whatever the reason, their delicious and inexpensive, authentic Mexican food remains the same, as well as the simple decor of the restaurant itself. And they still charge for their chips and salsa, justifying the way it's done in Mexico. The complimentary Chips and Salsa is an American Tradition that started in Mexican Restaurants here in the States. As I approached the counter to order my food, the enlarged menu was posted on the side wall. A friendly young lady in uniform greeted me and gave me a warm welcome. She answered some questions that I had about the menu and took my order to eat in. I ordered two Corizo Tacos as appetizer and a Adobada Chimichaga Combo (Marinated Spicy Pork), served with rice and refried beans. To drink I ordered a Pineapple Jarritos soda. I asked the employee if they had any physical menus. And she told me they didn't because customer would take them home. I would recommend to the owner of the restaurant room have some small menus designed and printed, and give them out to their customers because they would be a perfect marketing tool to bring in customers and also increase their Take Out orders sales. They currently don't have desserts. Some restaurants do this in order for customers to spend less time in the restaurant and allow others to sit and dine, thus increasing their sales. The young lady who took my order asked me to sit down at a table in the dining room and she would bring me the food when it was ready. It was amazingly delicious as always, and for the price you got more than your money's worth. I highly recommend this restaurant for when you feel like eating good Mexican food in an informal, relaxed environment.

This popular family-owned restaurant is well known for its blend of Mexican and American cuisine, welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. Its flavorful food is served in generous portions, by cooks dressed in black professional attire, that together wirh its elegant presentation, help create that unique "bistro" experience in a warm and friendly atmosphere with a diner-like feel. As soon as I found out the good news that the place had opened once again, I had to be one of the first ones to go visit and dine there. It seems that the two partners had split up. One stayed running this restaurant and the other chose to remain with their food truck. The only changes that I noticed were that some of the signs in front of the building were torn down and temporary homemade ones were put up. They had changed their business logo although their name remained the same, with the addition of the numbers 581. They already had menus with the new logo printed out, and their cooks remained the same, maintaining their elegant black professional attire. I was warmly greeted by a friendly lady employee as soon as I walked in. She remembered me from the last time I had dined there, and immediately detected my happy feelings of seeing the restaurant opened again. After being seated at one of the booths, she took my order. I had a Coke to drink, the Cancun Shrimp Chorizo Dip with Tortilla Chips as appetizer, and the California Burrito with added Chorizo as my main entrée. It was all very well presented and amazingly delicious, as always. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to get a better sense of the place and the high-quality of their food. And genuinely caring about your customers is something that is lacking in many restaurants and should be top priority in the selection process of their employees. Moe's first started in Atlanta, Georgia in the year 2000 and the letters of their name stand for "Musicians, Outlaws, and Entertainers." They celebrate the unconventional. With the belief that you don't achieve greatness unless you "stir the pot." This Moe's Southwest Grill is conveniently located in the Bridges Shopping Center, next to the South 6 Apartments at the Bridges. It is housed in a beautiful, modern red brick building with their restaurant sign high above in yellow, red, and black colors. High above their two glass door entrance thete is another sign that reads: WELCOME TO MOE'S. Once one steps inside, a sound is heard and all their employees with a big smile shout "Welcome to Moe's." The interior design of the place has exposed black ceiling, large yellowish tile floors and lots of orange and red colors to help create a happy dining experience. It also has lots of windows all around their interior brick walls with posters featuring AUGMENTED REALITY (AR), which can be experienced via the Moe's Rockin' Rewards app. On the right side of the restaurant there is a low wall that goes all around and in front of the ordering counter to lead the way to the large menu on the wall and then to the counter where you tell their employees what you want and you watch them make it right before your eyes. I ordered The Stack with Grilled Steak as my protein and many other items along the way. I invite you to view my photographs that accompany this review. I found this restaurant to be a clean, lovely place to enjoy a Mexican meal in a happy and fun environment. Located at the Brambleton Center, an elevated development in Cave Spring, Virginia, that also includes the Virginia Co-Op Extension, a Recreation Center, and The Bridge Church Roanoke, it is by far their largest restaurant in this area if one includes its extensive outdoor dining area with a solid beautiful gazebo with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. I invite you to view my photographs accompanying this review to get a better sense of the place, its creative architectural design, its amazing views, and its high-quality food. After driving in my pearl white Lexus up the hill, I parked in their parking lot in the back and walked around the wraparound porch of their building until I found the entrance. But before I went inside I walked around their extensive outdoor dining area with beautiful views. Once inside a friendly gentleman at the Host's station greeted me and showed me to a comfortable booth next to a window in the bar dining area of the restaurant. The perfect location to be able to capture photographs of their food in natural light. Afterwards I visited their main dining room which was already almost full in the late afternoon / early evening. After I was seated, Freddy who had served as my host, would also be my server. I ordered a large Virgin Mango Margarita to drink, which looked wonderful and tasted marvelous. I enjoyed munching on their basket of Tortilla Chips after dipping them in their red and white salsa as well. Few Mexican restaurants serve the white salsa. For my main meal I ordered the Carnitas, which contained tender chunks of pork and their photo in the menu made them look so good. They came with rice, beans, guacamole salad, pico de gallo and flour tortillas. I drank my Mango Margarita and enjoyed my chips with salsas while I waited and it didn't take long for my main entrée to come out. It looked delicious: both in quality, quantity, the way they were cook and presentation. All of a sudden, after just taking a taste of these carnitas, this restaurant had become one of my favorites Mexican restaurants. My server did an excellent job checking on me to see if everything was all right and check if I needed anything. The amount of food was so generous that I asked for a container to take some home with me. For dessert I had a Flan and it was also large and delicious. The prices were so reasonable and the amount of food so generous and good, not to talk about the exceptional service, that I made sure to leave a good tip when I paid with my Harvard Alumni World Mastercard. In conclusion, I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant for such an extraordinary dining experience that I had today and look forward to returning many times more.

I'm not sure if you knew but the "Cinco de Mayo" is a celebration of Mexico's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla. It symbolizes Mexican patriotism and unity, and represents the ability to overcome great odds. When I arrived at the restaurant, located near the Valley View Mall in Roanoke, Virginia, at around 5:30 pm, their large parking lot was already filling up. Outside in the front patio, a DJ was playing Mexican music under a blue tarp, and customers were seated at very nice outdoor furniture round tables covered with red and blue table umbrellas, drinking and eating, and having a good time under a beautiful blue sky with white clouds. I ordered a Mango Daiquiri which came in a large glass, was thick like a smoothie, and a wonderful ripe mango taste. I love mangoes. They're my favorite fruit. So this drink tasted like heaven. To eat I ordered the Chorizo Dip, to enjoy with my complimentary Tortilla Chips with Salsa. And as my main course I ordered the Fajitas Texanas. Rather then describe them, I invite my readers to view my photographs and video-clips accompanying this review. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. All the food was amazingly delicious and the server came by several times to check on me, as well as the manager of the restaurant who was very kind and hospitable. For dessert I had the Fried Ice Cream and that's the only thing that wasn't good. The tortilla bowl in which it came in was stale, and the quality of the ice-cream was poor, not creamy as expected. It also was not wrapped and fried, but just a simple scoop of vanilla ice-cream covered with whipped cream. I should have had instead the Churro Cup but my server was not knowledgeable enough about this dessert to describe it to me correctly and in the menu it had no description. But I didn't allow this to spoil my dining experience. I wrote it here to not only make customers aware of this but also the manager so he can take action on this room for improvement positive feedback to make the dining experience just perfect. In conclusion, I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant for its amazing atmosphere, genuine food, and wonderful customer service which all contributed to an extraordinary dining experience.

Right in the heart of Grandin Village one finds the Village Grill. The place to go to "Fire Up the…read moreFun." From the very first time I went there, I felt right at home. It's a place you are welcomed from the time you step in. The food and drinks are wonderful, and the service is extraordinary. When I arrived the place was full. People enjoying quality time with significant others, in a comfortable environment, drinking and eating to their hearts desire. I stood there, waiting to be seated, and somehow I didn't mind the wait. Who would be my server, Chelsea came and greeted me with a smile, letting me know that soon she would have a table for me. And this was not a fake promise like they tell you at other places to keep your hopes up. As soon as some customers left a table near by she went to clean it and set.it up for me. Last time I came here, I came with.a friend, this time I came along. And you know what, it didn't mind to her the size of the party, she treated everyone the same. With the same respect and caring attitude. And you know what. This is really what makes tje big difference in coming to eat here. In no time at all she had me seated at a 4 person booth looking over the menu and enjoying a Strawberry Saffron Tonic Mocktail which was the first thing I ordered. You know what, it doesn't matter what drink you have to enjoy yourself and have a good time, it's just a matter of attitude. Right then and there, you can sayI hadva great attitude of life. This is the kind of feeling this place brings out in their customers. More than customers, they see us as their guests. Even though I was looking at the menu, I already knew what I was going to have. A sandwich that ever since I moved to Roanoke, has become my favorite of them all in this Star City: The Ricky Ricardo of the Village Grill. Having been born in Cuba and grown up in Miami and Puerto Rico, I have learned to appreciate a good Cuban Sandwich. And this is not only one that comes close to it, but has perfected it with their golden touch and creativity, and yet maintaining it true identity. There is nothing greater one can say from an item from the menu. The fries that accompanied it were also amazing. My server Chelsea provided great service, coming by at the appropriate times to check on me. For dessert, I had the Cheesecake Du Jour that happened to be Peanut Butter, my favorite. What a Wonderful dining experience I had here. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place for its great ambiance, magnificent food, and excellent service. I can't say enough good things about it. I invite you to view my photographs that accompany this review and see for yourself, and then go visit this place and experience the magic.

We've been going to the Village Grill regularly for decades and have never had a bad meal. Some of…read morethe meals have been outstanding. Last week our meal was delicious but the portions were tiny compared to what we've been used to. The pulled pork and the salmon were literally 2oz portions. The little cup of coleslaw was almost as big as the portion of pork. What a disappointment!! We paid over $20/person for child like portions. Our server was so nice we didn't have the heart to complain. In retrospect that was a mistake. Nathan needs to be aware of this if he isn't already... It'll be a very long time before we go back, if ever.
