my burger looked as it was cooked with a blow torch and the bacon ( I think it was bacon) was strips of black something. The cold mac and cheese was able to be gagged down as I was not able to get anything to eat. The other meals we had ordered came out. The other burger was not as much a blow torch feel, look it was very dry and well cooked many minutes over cooked. The ice in the sodas were good. The one steak at med was well done and the other one - well it was in the same place the burger was at a med rare ordered. It was redone to only go on the floor and then it came out the 3rd time and it was well cooked - just not black this time. As the table wondered what was going on they all filled up on chips as that seemed to ok. More ice and soda as that did seem to come out well. Have not been there in over a year and remembered really fast why. Save your money and eat a hot pocket. When they feel they did a huge favor and gave a discount it turns out not at all but the way the bill looked they did. As they left my meal on there and then discounted as a *** we did a great job- pat us on the back*** you discounted a meal that was never brought back or made to eat. That isnt a discount that is you didnt do it right so we went home and ate - after waiting 2 hours. The ice and sodas though ON POINT. read more

As I say with all my review of this nature this is on the chain restraint scale so take that into account. Having said that, this is a great Chili's here in Clovis! Staff were very friendly and attentive and all our food came out great. I can see what some people have said about some slightly cleanliness issues but I think you typically expect that there will be some stickiness here and there but overall it was not extremely noticeable and not an issue for us. Great place for families and good food. Definitely a positive experience! read more

Disgusting food! Worst chilies I've ever been to. I got food poisoning from the Santa Fe chicken salad and ended up on the bathroom floor for 6 hours. I have waited to leave this review - was on vacation and this was the first day of it. I will never eat at another Chilies. This experience ruined my opinion of Chilies forever. read more

The service was great! The server was kind and attentive! We had a soup and salad combo, a smash burger w fries and some tenders which were sooooooo good! The fountain Coke Zero was mixed just right. It tasted outstanding! We love a Coke Zero and they serve it mixed right, and to us that matters! The manager was walking the restaurant making sure everyone was taken care of. I was impressed at the level of service we received. We come through Clovis on our way to visit family and we will return more often the rest of this year! Popped in for lunch. Was wanting the all you can eat chips salsa, soup and salad. I like that they give you time to eat chips and salsa. I hate that they bring the salad and soup out at the same time. Either the salad gets warm or the soup gets cold. This isn't the only location that does that. I have been asked before if I wanted them out at brought separate times at other locations. Food was ok. Waitress was nice. read more

Chilis is great! They immediately led us to our table .. we ordered and we got it in about 15 minutes. The mac and cheese was incredibly creamy and the fries were chefs kiss . I forgot to mention, the staff were so kind! and just overall great service ! the ambiance was perfect. good thing those lights weren't blinding me! read more

Came in for dinner and was greeted quickly by the hostess who then proceeded to lead us to our table. The problem was that the table was disgustingly dirty, I mean food smeared and dried on the table dirty. Initially, the server seemed attentive, but not after the food arrived. My water never got refilled, and that's all I was drinking. We were there a couple hours, plenty of time to swing by with a water pitcher. My southwestern chicken salad came with a mound of shredded cheese all over the top, lettuce barely visible under the dairy blanket. I love me some cheese, don't get me wrong, but not at the expense of hiding the rest of the ingredients like it was nachos (mmm, nachos). The chair didn't want to scoot when I needed it to, like it was stuck to the floor. I enjoyed my time with friends even though my salad and water refills were lackluster. Just got lunch there at 1:20pm. I work near PRMC. Got into my office and opened the box up, noticed a funny smell. Pulled my sliders apart and they were so rare it smelled like the meat market. And so BLOODY! Lost my appetite! Co worker popped patties in microwave to cook thru..I still couldn't eat them because the raw meat odor was still in my nose! I'm disappointed and disgusted. Wow the food was bad. The service was okay but they were all confused as to who was going to actually wait on us and everything took a long time to get to us. They forgot about our queso order but did get it to us later. I think they used the corn we were served to clean the greasy off the grill. Gross. The ribs were so dry we just started laughing and coming up with ideas of what else they could be used for. We won't be back. read more

I've been to Chili's in quite a few places in my time. This was the first time being in the Clovis restaurant. As always the food was delicious (usually a burger). I ordered guacamole this tIme as well and was surprised at how good it was. Our waiter was good, maybe a little slow with my coffee, but he still did a great job. Overall it was a great experience and next time I am passing through Clovis, I will stop by again. read more

We entered the front lobby and literally stood for 6.5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Our waitress did the best she could. Typical story, not enough staff to run a decent restaurant. DO NOT ORDER A SALAD HERE. Last time the salad I had was gross, and this time (months later) I gave a salad another shot and I am confirmed that they have inedible salads. The lettuce is so limp, soggy and mushy that it's clear it's old and expired. The packages of premade salads from Walmart are 10x better. Not to mention their dressing was smothering it so much that it was more of a soup than a salad. Seriously not even something that looked or tasted edible. Clearly they are understaffed and stressed, but I would say it's not Covid and staffing that's even the issue here. It's the quality of their food. Their produce should not be served. INSIDE: I'm from CA and it looks the same as any other Chili's location. Outside and inside is all the same decor and feel. MENU: exactly the same too, talk about a chain restaurant across the states! Got the bean dip appetizer and tastes the same as all other Chili's in CA. Like from a bean dip can. Food tastes the same just okay nothing special. STAFF: the first server was nice, she knew how to serve and was friendly, nothing to review negatively about, but then she went on break... and introduced some other girl who seemed nervous upon looking at me like she has never seen an Asian person before. She kept stuttering and wouldn't get close to the table and only spoke to the guy I was with and wouldn't look me in the face like I couldn't speak for myself (and yes I speak English). She would come back every now and then and ask from a good 3-4 feet away if everything was ok. When we asked for the bill she asked nervously if it needs to be split. Really? You do NOT ask a guy and a girl if the check needs to be split. How awkward is that if it's a guy and a girl on a date. If the check is gonna be split then the customers will ask you to split it. Maybe she was new, but I don't think so because she acted normal to the other tables. I know being in Clovis, NM they probably don't see many minorities, but this is America and a modern generation so I expected normal treatment. OVERALL: took off stars for the second awkward server and the food was just okay. This review is long overdue, but better late than never. read more

It's crowded by 6pm most every night, and I can only guess why: - The food is good, consistent and priced well - Parking is easy and plentiful - Happy hour prices are good until 6pm, then again at 9pm, and during all professional football games - Their happy hour food deals include cheap appetizers like skillet queso for $3 and beef fajita nachos for $5. - Big domestic beers are $3.25 all day, M-F - Order a double, and its only 75 cents more My girl friend and I had 2 Worlds Freshest Margaritas (tequila, fresh lime juice and agave made to order), nachos and queso, and walked out of there for under $25 each with tip. Worst Chile's I've ever been to. I am in from out of town, decided to have a few beers and get some food to go. Sure...I should have checked the bag, but...really? I got a triple appetizer to go. NONE of the sauces had lids and the box was a MESS when I opened it. I asked for the sliders to come with the guacamole on the side and it was not. No napkins or silverware were placed in my bag, which was an additional "surprise." Extremely glad I do not live here and have to rely on such poor service. This is a GREAT chili's! The best server I've ever had... EVER. Ask for Saibree! She's not only nice, efficient, and friendly, she's gorgeous too. Went in for lunch, and while it was busy we were seated immediately. Food came out hot and quick. Water was kept full through the meal, and the music was really good. Clovis New Mexico! It's a place on the map! I'm there once or twice a month on business and the stopped into Chili's for dinner for one. I sat in the bar area and received friendly service. The server is a military spouse and was quick to fill me in on the Clovis scene. The food, decor, and drinks were all Chili's standard. I was surprised by how busy it was on a random Tuesday and waited for about 20 minutes for a table. Nothing special or unique as with most chain restaurants. I ordered the Ancho Salmon from the lighter side menu and the salmon was cooked fine, though didn't have a fantastic flavor. Overall, I will likely be back as it's very convenient to my hotel. Friendly service is a plus but the food isn't a huge draw. read more

Was there last night after going to the movies. I want to blame the service or lack of due to timing. We were a party of 7, half kids, and we got there around 9-9:30. Our waitress came took our drink orders hurriedly. Then came back and took our orders again hurriedly. It was then that I noticed that they were turning chairs over on the dining tables which let me know it was closing time. The food arrived and my salmon wasn't fully cooked and one of the kids pasta was soggy and half cooked.
