Talking about a blast from the past. Chili's was my latest crave and happy that I made that choice. I went with my old time favorite, the triple dipper. Ordered the bone in wings, egg rolls and the sliders. Honey chipotle sauce for the wings were a winner. The egg rolls had a few too many beans for me, but still good. We went during lunchtime and it wasn't too crowded. My wife wanted to try one of its special meals. She ordered the chipotle chicken fingers but didn't realize how spicy it would be. The fries were decent. I guess for $14.99, a drink, chips and salsa with the chicken wasn't too pricey. The salsa still could use some help, I wish there was a better salsa choice. I came into Chilis at around 6pm on Saturday evening and there was a bit of a wait. 10 minutes for a party of 2. We were seated and met with one of the best waiters I've ever had, Noah. Noah did an exceptional job and I noticed it wasn't just my table but others around me. The overall restaurant was clean and had plenty of games on which was great to watch. We ordered a variety of food, mozzarella sticks, burger, dip trio, chicken crispers, and some sliders. The sticks were decent, not as good as the hype online. Chicken was solid, and so were the sliders. The burger we got was great! The dip trio was the star tbh. If anyone goes if highly recommended the 3 for me with the upgrade to the dip trio. He got mad and made comments that he was the only one doing everything. I feel sorry for him. Then after he upset my husband so now both are blowing up he tries to apologize... but before that he literally came over to upset my child. He took the game device that are at the tables just to take that away for no reason. It was unnecessary and he clearly doesn't know how to handle children. We have been to this location in the past and quit coming become it just wasn't good. In the past the food was over cooked or cold, there was no in between. Today our lunch was perfect! My daughter and I both ordered the triple dipper, chicken enchilada soup, and chips/salsa. The soup was delicious and at a perfect temperature as was the rest of our meal. First, our appetizer was not correct, my husbands steak fajita's were tough/chewy and he could not eat it, I had to request sour cream 3X's and by the time it came, the loaded fries were cold and I had to request our own refills. He said his food was good. I tried the fries & they were yum. I had a mango iced tea, chicken enchilada soup and shrimp fajitas which came with a side of black beans. The mango iced tea is the best tea I've had in awhile. The chicken enchilada soup is a meal in itself - so good. I loved the shrimp fajitas. The only reason that this place is getting a 5 star rating is because of Nancy. She was one of the best servers we have ever had. But if it wasn't for her you guys would have gotten a 1 star. Nope Service was terrible. Food took way too long. Ordered chips and salsa to start. Took about 10 min, arriver, about 30 second before main course. Chips wire basically dust, maybe 10 whole chips. Food was cold, I ordered boneless chicken wings with buffalo sauce. The nuggets, if you can call them that were cold, dry and no sauce. I got up to find our server because she was not out checking on customers. I was told to sit down and she would come to our table. She did show up but first went to another table to take their order. She finally arrived and said she would reorder the nuggets. 20 min later I asked another server, who was very attentive and friendly, for our check, but she said she was not allowed to cash us out since we were not her customer. The nuggets finally arrived at that point. I refused them since we were done and trying to leave. No manager ever showed up to talk to us. The server did let us know the order was removed from our bill. I can count on a few fingers on one hand the number of times I have never left a tip. This was one of them. We order from this Chilies sometimes while at work and the last 3x times at least one of our orders ends up missing/stolen, the evening manager is very rude, and the restaurant is a mess. Staff made no attempt to compensate us for the missing meal or the wait time it took to prepare a new order. The one wait staff never even put down her cell phone to help. Then the manager starts to blame me for their screw ups and never at any time did they say they were sorry or how can we make this right for you.. What a shit show! I usually go easy but this evening's experience was one of the worst I've ever had. I ordered the pick 3 appetizers... southwest eggrolls, habanero chicken crispers and big mouth bites (little burgers). Simple, right? NOPE. The waitress screwed up the entire thing sending out southwest eggrolls first (they were kinda squishy and greasy). So far so good. Then came a giant order of tiny burgers with fries. I reminded the waitress that I ordered the pick 3 appetizer which doesn't come with fries and that I still needed my 3rd of the pick 3...chicken crispers. She was on it. Then the manager came over and apologized and promised to take my order off of the bill. Fair enough considering I'd been waiting for over 30 minutes and still didn't have my full order. After a few more minutes the waitress came back with the manager and actually QUESTIONED WHAT I ORDERED. Like it was my fault she f'ed it up!! Who does this, what kind of service is this shit!? When I finally got the chicken it was served with more fries ‍. Fast forward to getting the bill. They charged me for my order which we were told wouldn't happen. The manager decided to go back on his word for some reason. Maybe they decided it was my fault their waitress was incompetent. Not only did they not do what they said ..they charged me $6 for FREE chips & sala (I have the chilis member rewards) and charged an extra dollar for a beer that was listed as $3 on the menu. The manager did correct that, surprisingly. Rewind to what hasn't already been told but gets honorable mention: - our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes while we were waiting to order - the waitress decided to make my boyfriend's beer a large which up charged us without even asking - the waitress forgot the beer and blamed it on a slow bartender (the place was empty) - the cajun chicken pasta my man ordered was bland and there wasn't an ounce of cajun in it - did I mention the manager promised to comp us for my meal and then went back on his word? This. Is. Terrible. Get a new manager in this restaurant, please! I've never ever not left a tip until today but then again I've never had such a terrible waitress and even worse manager.
