Ordered take out that took forever. That would not have been a problem if my food tasted better. I ordered the double smash burger. The plan was to eat one burger now and save the other for later. My burger was dry and cooked too long. It was an absolute waste of money. I was very disappointed. It's not hard to cook a burger. You only have to show me once why you don't deserve my business. Do better Chilis. Find a new cook!

Raven was such a great waitress! She was pleasant & took care of our table. I came here w/ my mom & nephew after a Paranormal Cirque 3 show in the Clinton Outlets. Food was delish but my plate needed a bigger portion. I ordered a 3 for $16.99. I ordered a coke, garden salad,& the cilantro- lime carne asada(seared steak topped w/ a drizzle of cilantro-pesto, minus the lime and pico de gallo. Served w/ flour tortillas, Mexican rice & black beans). My steak was medium well & not overcooked. My mom ordered 3 for $13.99. It was a classic margarita, potato soup,& an old-timer w/ cheese(basically a cheeseburger) w/ fries. My nephew also ordered a 3 for $13.99. He got a classic margarita, chips & salsa, & a big smasher burger( smashed burger w/ thousand island sauce,American cheese, diced red onions, pickles & lettuce) w/ fries. The Chiefs were playing the Cowboys on the tv screens. Ty Raven!

We each got rice and beans and four tortillas. This picture also shows the cast iron plate of our three proteins with peppers and onions

My son took me to dinner for Mother's Day. We arrived around 5:40 PM and had to wait for a table. We were told 15-20 minute wait. It was probably 25 minutes but they were very busy. A lot of families were there. We already knew what we wanted to order: the Fajita dinner for two and an order of bottomless chips and salsa with two sodas. The chips and salsa arrived with the drinks pretty quickly. Our waitress was very polite. The fajitas for two you had a choice of four proteins with three choices of protein chicken steak and shrimp. We ordered double order of shrimp and both chicken and steak. It also came with four flour tortillas each a side of rice and beans topped with some pico de gallo also toppings of pico de gallo sour cream and shredded cheese for your tortillas. We ordered several refills of chips and salsa while waiting for our meal to arrive. I asked for the chips without added salt and it was no problem. We both made our first fajitas with the shrimp the shrimp was very tasty and not over seasoned. Then we tried the steak which I was skeptical about being tender. I was wrong. It was deliciously tender and seasoned well. The chicken was also well seasoned and tender. The sodas were also unlimited which was nice. Several servers stopped by asking how everything was and vet willing to bring another drink and napkins. You pay at the table on a small tablet which a server helped us to log in as I have their app and I was surprised to find after putting in my number I had a free chips and salsa! So nice. And the price was $39.99 for the dinner the bottomless chips were actually free but normally $7.29 so our total was around $49 and you can add a tip but my son actually likes giving the server cash. I would definitely recommend the dinner for two and will return

Today I came in to restaurant at 2.45 pm and I asked with waitress for make sure I can ordered for lunch special menu. And she said "Yes" we checkout around 3.40 pm and very satisfied in service and food at here. All staff very friendly and pay attention with customers.

First timings first, Chili's is definitely one of the better fast casual chain restaurants out there, which was made obvious by how busy it was this past Monday night when the restaurant was packed with people. The atmosphere is very chill and cozy but can be cramped at times when there's a lot of customers. The service was average, nothing spectacular or notable. Our server did look a bit overburdened at times which impacted wait times, but she was thorough in getting our order down. The food came out in an average amount of time, so it wasn't too bad. The food was OK for the most part, above average (7/10) but the prices were somewhat higher than I had remembered a few years ago. Granted, a lot of stuff has increased in price over the past few years, but I felt like the food was overpriced.

I cannot eat people are screaming. We got people cursing up here. They haven't asked if we're OK they haven't refilled my dip. Haven't asked if we want anything else the iPad is dead people are screaming to the top of the lungs. We have a lady behind the bar. I'm going to other customers and ignoring me.

I got fish tacos (I know, I know) - but they were actually super tasty. 3 for $20. You have to add on a few dollars if you want either sliced avocado or guac. I did avocado and they were super generous with it. Also, my cocktail was great. They have lots of different tequilas and Mezcals. I got the Julep that was made with Illegal mezcal, which I recently had back at home and was yummy. The drink was perfectly made and super yummy. They were also very nice here. The manager came over (John? I blame my faulty memory on the mezcal). He said that he orders lots of different tequilas and was happy to hear I enjoyed it. He and lots of the servers were also Mexican American. So who knew? You can actually get good fish tacos and Mezcal here in New Haven, Connecticut. I'm hoping to try other restaurants while I'm here but otherwise will come back here happily! (oh, and the patio is covered, which is great for a rainy day!)

The restaurant is loud and becomes a tequila shot bar in the evening. But, there are only two dirty, unisex bathrooms. The oversized, overweight, over aggressive bouncers enforce a time limit in the bathrooms...with vigor. We saw someone complain about the bouncer's and pounding on the door get tossed.....physically. YES, THIS BAR EMPLOYEES PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE BOUNCERS! Best for any decent person to avoid this hole and tell your student kids to stay away. We considered calling the cops but didn't want to miss the quality time and events with classmates elsewhere as it was our 25th REUNION! Way to improve the neighborhood, New Haven! Anyone with common sense should stay away from Geronimo's violence-provoking Tequila Bar.

Cilantro Fresh Mexican Grill is a fast-casual Mexican-style restaurant that opened in New Haven,…read moreConnecticut in 2012. It was founded by restaurateur couple Chris Guerra and Sara Holycross. Guerra opened his first restaurant, Dayton Street Apizza, in New Haven in 1998 when he was just 23. The success of the pizzeria was enough for him to open a sister pizzeria, First Street Apizza, in Seymour in 2005. Eventually Guerra decided to purchase the building that Dayton Street Apizza was housed in. For the opposite side, he had originally thought about opening a Chinese restaurant. Then he and his partner Holycross realized that Mexican culture was thriving in New Haven. Many of the kitchen staff at Dayton Street Apizza were of Latino descent and they would frequently heat up their authentic Spanish and Mexican meals in the kitchen. Although fast-casual chains such as Chipotle Mexican Grill or Moe's Southwest Grill were popular, Guerra and Holycross eschewed the assembly line style of food preparation for a traditional made-to-order style of preparation. This meant that their food would be fresher and the menu more nimble. When it opened in 2012, Cilantro was met with much acclaim. Guerra sadly passed away unexpectedly in 2016; Holycross continues to run his three restaurants. My wife and I have been to Cilantro several times and have never been disappointed. When they first opened, my wife and I had recently started dating and she lived in an apartment down the street. We've been fans of their food ever since. We recently stopped there for dinner with our two boys on Cinco de Mayo. Cilantro's take-out business was pretty busy that day, but the dining room wasn't too crowded for sit-down meals. We started off with some of their complimentary chips and salsas as well as a large order of their delicious "Guacamole". For our entrées, I had the "Tostada Salad w/ Steak" (fried flour tortilla shell filled with/ lettuce, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, & pico de gallo), my wife had the "Shrimp Bowl" (fresh grilled shrimp, lime, jack & cheddar, pinto beans, red cabbage, pico de gallo, tangy dressing), our older son had the "Kids Steak Taco" (soft corn tortilla w/ cheddar cheese), and our younger son had the "Kids Chicken Quesadilla". Everything was delicious; super fresh ingredients and all bursting with flavor! Unfortunately, Cilantro does not have a bar: no margaritas for us. However, they do carry bottle beer, wine, and sangria. I enjoyed a cup of "Red Sangria while my wife enjoyed a cup of "White Sangria". I must say that in addition to the excellent food, Cilantro also has excellent staff and service. Overall, we had another very enjoyable experience. The high-quality food and competitive prices here must not be overlooked.
