Its very unusual for Chili's to get it wrong, but they really did tonight. Ordered from the To Go menu and it was sub-par. The salsa was so watery is looked like the juice poured straight from a can of tomatoes. Absolutely no seasoning, no chunks of peppers, tomatoes, onions...nothing, just liquid. The guacamole was so bland and had big chunks of brown parts left on the avocado. Once again, no seasoning, no tomato, no pepper or onion. Most of the chips were stale and greasy. The little sliders were ok, but were so cold and overcooked. Like I said this is very unusual for Chili's. It's hard to believe someone didn't notice the quality before they sent it home with us. I love chilis, but this time so far has not been great, I ordered Corona Rica frozen, it came out on the rocks, tastes like watered down Corona with lime, worst I have ever had, we'll see how the rest turn out. OK I was right worst experience at chilis so far, no wonder they only have to stars. I ordered rare steak but instead I got well done and burnt. The wife's order didn't come out right either. Overflowing trash at the front porch. Waitress was nice and did good job. Really disappointed that chilis has become just ok. Great view!! I sat at the outside bar. It became clear that this was not going to be a great dinning experience. They had a trainer working, "training the staff". I heard her talking with the wait staff about taking tables. She did not want to take any table to help the wait staff out. She kept saying it is your money. Don't leave money on the table and I do t want to sweat. I asked for another beer and she said she would have to get the bartender. The food was good. The trainer rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like the staff was good enough. By the way the bartender was great. She was criticized multiple time by the trainer. Great patio overlooking Lake Marble Falls with a scenic view of the 281 bridge at night. The food was tasty and beer was cold. It made for a very pleasant visit to the Hill County. Chili's menu items are reasonabley priced which is a plus. I love their baby back ribs. Yum! read more

Not great for an hour lunch break. Although there were multiple tables open it seems not staffed correctly. Also the waiter we had needed more training. We weren't served our food until 1 hour and 30 minutes after we ordered even though others that ordered got theirs and were almost done eating. We ordered a salad, two kids meals and a appetizer. The manager was completely surprised and did say she would talk to her people. Other than that the food we took home was very good and the place was clean. It's Chili's. We stopped in for a snack because missed breakfast and lunch and simply couldn't wait for dinner. Took forever to be seated - there just wasn't anyone around! Service was slow but the food was decent - although typical Chili's. My husband says they have the BEST CHICKEN TENDERS he has ever eaten... so we go for the chicken tenders. (He LOVES them!) For me - it's good. I can eat almost anywhere and if it isn't burnt or soggy, I'm cool! :) Marble Falls - nice lakeside views. Nothing special but nothing terrible either. read more

We chose Chili's because for the most locations they get it RIGHT. 2 adults and 3 children...our order was so simple probably didn't need to take notes...however he did. Drinks took forever. I asked for lemmons 3 times...ordered an appetizer and it came out with our meal...AWESOME!!! The server never asked us once if we needed anything, oh until we obviously looked ready for the check. We drove in from Austin so everyone used the restroom...which was completely gross!!!!! Instructed the 2 hostesses who looked like they needed a job to do so I took it upon myself to tell them they needed to do bathroom duty because they were disgusting!!! They looked at me as if I were insane. Both times I have been to this Chili's location, I haven't even been able to speak to an employee. I ordered curbside and sat in my car for over 40 minutes waiting for my order, even watching the people next to me receive their food, but no employee ever came back. I had to get out, go inside and grab my own food off the shelf since there also was not a single employee at the to go counter. Absolutely ridiculous service and a complete disregard for customers. Shane was a phenomenal server. Attentive and respectful. Very outgoing and easy to talk to. Had an unwanted person approach the table and he barely got a sentence out before Shane noticed and escorted him away. He made it a very enjoyable experience. Horrible service from our waitress and the manager! It took our waitress 15-20 minutes to GREET us. We then ordered our drinks and waited another 10-15 minutes while watching her talk with other tables and pass us numerous times. She was snarky when she did brings us our drinks. Requested to speak with the manager who was super unimpressive. She did not ask what she could do for us, did not offer to get our drinks or order and instead made excuses that they were busy. My burger was served spread across the plate LITERALLY. Nothing was together. Waiter said he knew it was bad but said the cooks were rushing. So he served it that way anyhow. Also the burger was way over cooked and was charcoal like on the outside. (YES it was burnt on the outside) Wifes Santa fe chicken wasn't any better. Chicken had black burns (not just a sear mark) and her dressing if that's what you'd call watered down dressing was aweful. I like to take Hill Country drives through the Highland Lakes area. One of my favorite places to stop is this Chilis. We stop to enjoy the views of the lake and wet our whistle. I'm always up front and tell the waiter that we don't want to eat, we just want to have a beer and hang out for a bit. Why does this seem to make our wait person unhappy? I'm sorry that you have to take the menu's and silverware back. I told you we just wanted to stop in for a minute. Anyway, we have a beer and typically only one because the wait person only comes back to ask us if we want our tab. Next time, smile maybe and we may hang out for two beers. Remember the scene in National Lampoons Vacation when the family is at the Grand Canyon and Chevy Chase, bob's his head up and down for a second. and says; "OK, Lets Go." That's me. It's a Chili's: no surprises with regards to the quality of the food prep or table sevice (poor to fair). However, you have to give this place high marks for venue: it's an unbelievable location overlooking the water. If you get a table overlooking the lake in the evening or on a nice cool day, you won't be dissapointed. read more

In spite of the modifications made due to the Covid virus, this restaurant was running very smoothly. An employee in a mask sits out front taking reservations. They take your cell info and promise to text when a table becomes available. This location is right on the lake, so our 20 minute wait to be seated was enjoyable as the view of the lake was lovely. In less than 20 minutes we got our text and arrived at the front door. There was a line of people, properly spaced out and waiting their turn. We were quickly ushered to our table, and we were fortunate enough to snag a prime spot on the patio overlooking the lake. It was a pleasant afternoon with a nice breeze blowing. The waiter was friendly, and followed all precautions to keep things safe. He took our drink order and our order for a blossom. When he came back to explain that they were out of blossoms it was a disappointment, but the steaks were so perfect when they arrived, it was hard to be too upset. Our steaks were so tasty. Cooked to our liking and so tender & flavorful. No steak sauce was necessary. The loaded mashed potatoes did not disappoint, nor did the steamed broccoli. Everything was perfect & the view made it that much better. We had a great time! read more

I'd give more stars because the food was good and our server was very sweet but the reason for only giving 3 is I used the get in line feature on my app on our way to the restaurant and was sent a text to check in when I arrived. There was no one there in line and the restaurant seemed very calm but still decently busy. The young lady who came up was very flustered and asked us how many we said 6 and she preceded to say it would be 45 min because she had a few big tables ahead of us so I let her know I had checked in on the app and was probably one of the tables she very rudely and as if I was bothering her said we don't do that anymore. She then grabbed a tablet and I checked my app and it said I was 2nd in line and had been checked in by host. She walked away and came back to tell me she can do it this one time but they don't do reservations. She walked away again and was talking to someone else and said I'm just going to get them out of the way and came back to ask us how many for menus and sat us. I felt like we were a bother and it was very uncomfortable. Our server made it better as she was very sweet but the whole time we were there the other lady was very bitter and was even arguing with one of the other servers whom we have had before and he is also amazing. I'm not sure what her problem is but having been in the food service industry myself she needs a major attitude adjustment or a new job. We visited on 12/01 at 7pm. She had very short hair. We went Chili's towards the end of the evening on a Tuesday evening (Covid), and had the worst experience. We were fine with the 25 minute wait for outdoor seating because of Covid, and since we don't venture out, we wanted to be safe. There was no one at the bar, so we had a cocktail while we waited. When our table was ready, our server Avery (by the way she didn't introduce herself, we found out from another server), didn't bring a drink menu with her and huffed a sigh that I asked for one. I'm sorry, are you annoyed that I asked you to do your job? When she returned, I pointed out the drink I wanted, and my husband I ordered right away, because we spent 25 minutes at the bar looking at the menu while we waited. (I just didn't know the name of the cocktail). 25 minutes later, our two appetizers and my cocktail arrived at the same time. TWENTY FIVE MINUTES, for egg rolls and queso dip. We looked around to see where our server was, to see if perhaps she had a large party taking up her time. She did not. It was not busy because again it was 8pm on a Tuesday night. The table next to us was full of off the clock servers dropping f-bombs and being loud and rowdy. Finally, we grabbed another server Sammy, and asked if we could be moved. He obliged us despite being busier than our server (God knows where she was at this point), and then he proceeded to bring us water and check on us. Avery showed up in time for us to get our check, and pay. Avery if you read this, we didn't stiff you, we tipped the server that took care of us, and trust me you screwed up, ask Sammy. Now let me get to the manager on duty, Mark. We asked to speak to a manager, since one had not come around to do a table visit, and this whole fiasco of a night out could have been remedied at the table. When we relayed our experience to Mark, he just kept saying "Looks like we turned it around by the end." NO Mark. You didn't. We still dropped $70 on a mediocre food (barely warm when it hit the table), and nothing was rectified. Sammy thank you for trying to help us. You earned your tip. You were the ONLY bright spot, and I hope you go someplace else where you will make the money you deserve. Next time we will go next door to River City Grille. Worse Chili's ever! Will never go back! Have always loved Chili's burgers at other locations. They were always one of my favorite burgers until last night. First, we had to wait for quite a while for someone to take our name for a table so we sat at the bar. Our first beer was fast but we had to wait forever to put our order for food in. Cold beer but the waitress was frustrated and could never be found when we needed something like a napkin. Another girl was right in front of us washing dishes but she said it was not her job to work the bar. Geez, I only wanted a napkin because water was on the bar from the cold beer. Finally got our burger and fries, meat was burnt and had definitely shrunk, ask for mayo instead of mustard, got it dry, very dry, very little veggies, not at all like burgers I have gotten at other Chili's. Matter of fact, worse burger I had eaten and although I was really hungry, only ate maybe half. Then the Fries, they had been cooked at least 1-2 hours before, was cold and chewy! You say, I should have sent it all back which I would've if I could have found someone behind the bar that wanted to work. Had to get my own napkins again and again. We were completely ignored, not just us but everyone at the bar was getting very impatient waiting. Don't go there and expect the same service or food from other Chili's. Need more employees THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Maybe even a new manager. read more

I am highly disappointed with Chili's today. You would think that not being able to have a full restaurant, service would be better. Nope, worse. 1) My waiter walked around like he was 1/2 asleep. He did not clear empty plates. He only checked on us once. My daughter had to drink my water because he never refilled hers. 2) The bartender was MIA. Took forever to get my drink. 3) Worst Pina Colada I have ever had. Pina Colada's are on the sweet side, this was sour. 4) We have gotten our orders much faster when the restaurant was full!! 5) Steaks were medium rare when we asked for medium. Medium doesn't have any blood dripping. We didn't complain because we like medium rare. 6) It's understandable for there to be some flies due to outdoor seating. I don't ever remember seeing one on our food though. There were also gnats flying around. Some even landed on our food. They also landed on our empty plates because the waiter didn't pick them up. I told the hostess on our way out and she and another employee looked at me like I was crazy, but didn't say a word. We frequent this Chili's but I think it will be a while before we go again. Couldn't find anyone to ask second time. No dressing was on the LC_California clubs (my husband or mine) fries were cold. Couldn't find anyone to ask for mayo or hot fries. Someone else other than waitress brought refill asked for 1/2 and 1/2 tea got all unsweet. After finding someone to get our check, waited again on someone to take our cash, she went and took another tables order after they had to call her over and then took 8 minutes more to get our change. What was supposed to be a quick stop in for lunch took over an hour it seems. Definitely will not be back to this chili's. The worst part is I love Chili's and husband doesn't. I've got him to eating there twice now over two weeks and he said today never again. read more

We just walked out of Chili's after the worst service we ever had by a totally untrained or stupid waitress. Alyssa, our waitress knew nothing about the food and was just an order taker. Once our food came, my wife was to have as side sauce which is what the dish was all about and it never came. We flagged the clueless waitress to ask where it was and she said she just hadn't had time to get it and it would be a bit till she could. My steak was served raw and when I asked for a glass of Cabernet she didn't know what that was a red wine. Finally after being treated with such bad service and quality we walked out which we have never done before and as such suggest if you read this you avoid Chili's if you don't want to spoil your eventing. read more

I have normally never had problems with a chili's but we got there on a Saturday, so a busy time. We expected the wait - not a problem. Waited an hour and got seated at 7:00. The waitress got our drink orders then forgot to come back and take our food order. We flagged her down, she apologized and took our order. We waited 40 min with no food. When asked she kept saying it will be out soon. Turned out someone forgot to put the order in and apparently there was drama in the kitchen between employees. She assured us it was in and put a rush on it. At this point it is 8:30, still no food and our order was AGAIN not put in or lost. We finally received our meal, ate it. It tasted good. Then when we got our bill we were over charged. She corrected the bill and we finally left there at 9:20 all of this with our two children too. The view is nice. We are hoping it will not be like this again if we go back. I'm only writing this so you can put in the proper training needed and make this a quality chili's read more
