The management receive this one star rating. I have been to this location 3 times which 2 times management watched and did nothing while the bartender struggled. I sat at the bar and watched on my last visit. To put it in perspective, the bartender had tables as well as service to the bar counter. There was one bartender making drinks for the entire restaurant. It took 10 minutes for her to acknowledge me. Then another 15 to take my order while the manager stood there and chatted with the other servers. The bartender (Tiffany) did a fantastic job and deserves 5 stars but the manager (Lisa) deserves negative stars. Management needs training on leadership and teamwork. read more

Generally, if the food or service is "ehhh", I don't leave a bad review. I figure people are having a bad day, maybe some equipment is off, or something else. I try to write it off and give them the benefit of the doubt. That being said, Chili's really let me down today. First, I called my order in versus using an app. Very professional and answered all my questions. No issues there. When I pulled into a spot, I had received a text with a link to pay. Great. Except the website it took me to had options for 18, 20, & 25% tip. If I tried to change to custom tip, the site stalled/crashed. If I'm sitting in a restaurant, I always tip. If the service is great, I'm all for 22-25%. But to place it in a bag and walk 40 feet, I'm gonna tip less. The website was having none of that. After about 10 times, I finally gave in and tipped 18% Then Ashley came out and checked in with me. Very polite with a friendly smile. Told her I called in and she was happy to check on it. Received my order promptly, with a smile and thanks. That where the good news end, sadly. I order the Triple Bites appetizer. 1 of the 2 burger bites patty was burn, and I ended up just eating the other 1. The Buffalo Boneless wings had a funny taste to them, and the Ranch didn't help. But my favorite item, the Southwest Egg-rolls, was so undercooked that the roll actually drooped when I picked it up. I pulled one apart and it was still doughy inside. Ugh! So disappointed. Not sure what's happening at Chili's, but aside from Ashley and the sweet tea, this lunch was a total loss. I don't think I'll be trying them again anytime soon. read more

Went to the establishment to go eat out at around 10:15 pm and hostess explained to us that they were no longer seating people to eat due to them cleaning tables and it was to-go orders only. They do not close until 11:30pm! They have more than enough time to clean what they need to clean. Why close at 11:30 pm if you're not going to allow people to dine-in. Chili's in New Iberia sucks! Two weeks ago I had to wait 5 minutes for a seat, that was no problem. The server asked for backup, the manager came out , saw me sitting there and went back inside the kitchen. Offered no help to the backed up server It would not have been so bad if I did not see her going back into the kitchen. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta from this location today and I am so disappointed. Every other Chili's I've ever been to I have enjoyed this pasta except today. My garlic bread was covered in barbecue sauce and there's no barbecue that comes in this pasta and there was also barbecue sauce on part of my pasta too! Totally disgusting! There were also more tomatoes than noodles but I guess it's close to closing so they just serve whatever. They also over charged me and added wings to my ticket that I never ordered or received. I called to speak with the manager that was obviously having a bad night who said well we are closing so I'll mail you a comp. That's great but I'm hungry NOW and I live 1.5hrs away, I'm in this area for work for a few weeks so that doesn't help me at all right now. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. We are from Texas, here for a wedding and I can't even put into words how NASTY this Chili's is. I've put in a complaint to corporate, because there's absolutely no way this restaurant is up to health code standards. I've been to several chili's, not a single one has been this disgusting. Dead bugs everywhere, grease and food all over the walls. Food floating in our drinks, weird dripping stuff on the TVs that made it hard to even watch the games. Good servers, even more so in the day time, but the managers are rude, was ordering a lot of chips and salsa to go and was recognized as a really constant customer by the waiter so he was being extra nice and consolidating my food for easier travel and the manager came and chewed me out for something that wasn't even my idea! Thank you rude managers. Just left the restaurant with my Togo order, and after speaking to another manager about the previous one's behavior and attitude to the customer, I can say I will probably never go back. Thursday evening: Impressed with this Chili's. I sat at the bar with a view of the restaurant as well as the kitchen. Every worker seems to be constantly moving. I saw a lot of team work. Surprised with the negative reviews. I got the burger, it was OK. It was a little flame broiled flavor for me...but the potato soup was great. Will definitely come here again when in this area. Last time I stayed here, i ate across the street and i was not wow'd like i am tonight. -/-/-/-/-/-/ Saturday evening: Whoops...i must have spoken too soon. Got here at 4:45pm on Saturday and it's not too great. Service is slow, tables walking out, and as I type, a whole tray of food comes crashing down. A lot of un happy people tonight. I was just told, no ribs, no chicken fried steak, no fried pickles, no chicken strips. Something in the air tonight. ::: Well, really not good tonight. I saw the manager at 3 different tables apologizing for something. The table behind me got tired of waiting and packed the silver sauce containers. It's really a circus tonight. I will admit I haven't set foot in the place in three years, but that time has done little to dim the memories of my last visit to the New Iberia Chili's. The food, the waitstaff, the building, where do I begin? There was a time you could count on a decent meal at the New Iberia Chili's. The first group of staffers apparently took their jobs seriously, and were interested in providing good customer service. I assume indifferent management took its toll, and the staff became steadily less professional and the food steadily less edible. You know you're in for a bad experience when you are handed menus sticky from who knows what fluids deposited by previous visitors, and the best option is usually to take your leave as soon as possible. The last food we had was lukewarm at best, and the order was mostly correct, I guess. The waiter displayed little interest in anything other than the tip, and the one drink we ordered was laden with ice and overpriced by double. I am generally amazed these days when I pass the place to see how packed it stays. It is located conveniently to the highway, and other Chilis I've been in do not drop to the poor standards which reign at the New Iberia restaurant, so I suppose they're lured in for a rude surprise, which may have a negative impact on business for Chili's states away! Take a pass on this one. Eating out is expensive, and this place is a waste of good money. read more

Well in New Iberia we don't have a whole lot of selection and I keep hoping that this Chili's will finally get on par with the rest of them in the country. But this one always disappoints. The food is just Ok and the service is HORRIBLE. I have never stepped foot into this restaurant and NOT had to wait at least an hour for my order. Every year My co worker and myself go here on Veteran's Day but after this year I would not go back even for free food, after being treated as second class citizens instead of honored veterans. Headed back from Jungle Gardens at Avery Island and decided to stop for lunch around 2:00 p.m. We were seated almost immediately but it took almost 20 mins just to get our drinks. Then another 30 to get our food which was no longer warm by the time it reached us. Our server was working the to-go food as well as tables and just couldn't keep up. Most annoying was her response to anything we asked for or said to her "I still love ya" Thankfully we don't live nearby.
