Service was good. Ambiance was nice, there was a band playing live music. The beef fajitas were awful. The plate was mostly vegetables, very little meat on it. Usually fajitas are served on a hot sizzling plate, nothing like that here. The beef was underseasoned or it just didn't taste right. Spent 25 years in Houston so I know what good fajitas are supposed to taste like. On top of this, it was over priced. The classic margarita was very weak and overpriced as well. Bottom line, if you want bad fajitas and overpriced weak margaritas, this is the place for you. I do not like leaving bad reviews for a restaurant, in fact, I never have. The place was super pretty like Mexican gone fancy. The place is huge has inside and outside. Our waiter was excellent thank you Arturo. The appetizers food and drinks were exceptional. We had margaritas, cheese and guac appetizers. We had fajitas tacos quesadillas for dinner but no space in our tummy for dessert. Everything was excellent good portions fast service. Did you know there's a band every Friday night? I knew as soon as I got out of my car. I thought the car next door was blasting music. My watch warned me of dangerous decibels when we approached the hostess stand. I don't know how she could stand it. Fortunately, we were seated on the other side of the restaurant, but my wife and I could still not talk to each other without raising our voices. It went downhill from there. Ordering was another yell fest. My wife got the taco salad, and I opted for the steak street tacos. Fortunately, the charro beans were good, and that's where a half-star comes in. My wife's steak in her salad was almost cold, and there was silver skin attached. She did not eat half of it. My tacos were just OK. The guacamole hardly had flavor, and the salsa was very watery. Were my expectations too high? Well, for $20 a plate for Mexican food you better believe I expected something premium. There are too many very good Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants in the city to settle for anything less than great. But I have to say the physical plant is very nice so that's another half-star. A coworker told me about this place and it did NOT disappoint! I went for lunch and ordered my menu selections to go. Service amazing and pretty quick during lunch hours. I had the steak quesadilla, which was really good and had the perfect steak to cheese ratio, and the steak fajitas. Both were seasoned to perfection and were still piping hot when I got back to my destination. The host also recommended the churros...two words "chef's kiss." I got take out at Pedros one day for lunch. It's pretty expensive. When I got my bank statement I discovered that they took $5 more than the bill was for, $5 more than my receipt said. I called and spoke to someone who claimed to be a manager called Patricia. She said I left a $5 tip. No I didn't, it was takeout and the food is expensive enough, I didn't leave a tip. I have my receipt. She was very nice and said she'd refund the $5. A few days later when I checked my bank's website there is no $5 refund pending from Pedro's. I called the bank and asked if there was a refund would I see it pending on your website? Yes, I would. I called Pedro's and I hear one ring then I'm cut off. It seems that the fake nice Patricia did not give me a refund and she blocked my number! This restaurant stole $5 from me and lost a customer. I am not going to go to a restaurant that steals money from me! I live nearby and like their food, I'd have been a customer for years to come, if they didn't steal my money. The money they would have made from me in the future gone because they stole $5. I think that's insanely stupid especially considering their prices, less than the cost of one meal. But ok. read more

Pedros has been on my radar for a little while since they opened not too far from my office earlier this year. I am so glad to have another lunch option in the area and I will be going here frequently. I love the Día de Muertos theme and all the colorful and cheery decor. I came in with some friends for a late lunch and was not disappointed. I had the chimichanga plate with chicken and it was more than enough for at least two more meals. I even asked the waiter was he sure this was the lunch special?? (See my pics of that crazy plate). Everything was delicious and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. My friend ordered the Pedros special which came with a taco, a burrito, a chulupa and an enchilada. I think this would be a good choice if you're unsure of what to get because you get a little of everything. All in all a great place to get a delicious Mexican food with portions large enough to share (or take home) for some unbeatable prices! read more

Visit this new restaurant and It met my Expectations . The restaurant decor was cool it was a mixture of modern and Spanish. They had nightly entertainment, Mexican Singers dress in their culture clothing come to your table and sing a song for you and it don't have to be your birthday . The food was good and came out really fast. I ordered their pork tamales and Carne Asada. Both dishes were really good however my tamales were not hot. I also ordered a blue Margarita. The drink was good, strong and huge. Overall I really enjoyed my experience at this establishment and I would definitely return back the service was good and attentive! read more

I got your mango margarita and loved it. we got ala cart cause we didn't want to stuff ourselves too much. cheese enchilada. and tacos and chile relleno. wasn't super impressed by the staff, and then I realized it was a sunday night and everyone was probably burnt from working. I went to get more chips for my queso, and y'all had tossed them out for the evening, and thats when I knew everyone was just ready to go home. This restaurant has super cool decor. The lighting is awesome. I think the only bad thing was how cold it was. We couldn't focus one eating or talking because it was so cold! This new restaurant is the bomb.com. It was so good I forgot to take pics of my entree. I made my combo which consisted of two ground beef tamales, a beef enchilada, rice and refried beans. I usually don't like the beans but these were really good. And must I mention the drinks I ordered a medium passion fruit margarita and my oh my it was more than enough. My husband had a large house margarita he's always complaining about the size of the drinks well he had no problem here lol, it was so big he couldn't drink it all that was a first. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes authentic Mexican cuisine. read more

We went in and sat in a booth for over 10 mins. No one stopped. No chips. No one acted like we were alive. Very Poor Service. Got up and walked out. No one said a word . I've been wanting to try Pedro's for a while now and I am glad I finally did! As soon as you walk in, you notice the super clean, bright, and modern interior with big tv's everywhere with several sports games on. The complimentary chips and salsa were great, normally I favor chunky salsa but this puréed salsa was great! I actually enjoyed it so much that I got an order of salsa to go on the way out! The chips were warm and noticeably fresh. As we looked over the menu, it appeared that everything was slightly more expensive than expected, my shrimp chimichanga meal was $18 but I decided to try it anyway and I am glad I did. The shrimp were huge, seasoned well and weren't over cooked. The seasoned rice and refried beans were full of flavor and excellent as well. Great food combined with the great service we received had me leaving already thinking of the next time I can come back. read more

The table side guacamole was excellent. I had the "street tacos" and they were delicious. Authentic! My friend had the sour cream chicken enchiladas. The food was good, but the service not so much. I would have complained to the manager, but she had her arms wrapped around the server's neck while we were sitting and waiting for him to come back to our table, so that's that! He messed up the order and argued with us about it first instead of instantly correcting it. We asked if he could at least leave the taco so my child could have something to eat while we waited, but he took the entire plate back. So we all just waited some more until he came back. I guess when he saw we were upset, he decided to focus his attention on the other customers. The other waiters had to flag him down for us, so that we could get a refill and to-go box. The manager was aware that we were upset because we were seated right in front of where she stands, but she never once came to try and make it right. I like Pedro's, but less fraternizing would lead to better service. Shout out to the cooks though! read more

This place just opened, so my coworkers and I decided to give it a try. The decor is bright colors with a sort of day of the dead motif. The service was fast and staff attentive, so over all a good service experience. I got a beef chimichanga, with rice a beens.
