Went around 11:00am, wasn't very busy at the time. Good service, and the Honey chipotle chicken waffles were excellent.

The good here is your typical Chili's food not great but will make a turd. But the service on the other hand is horrible. They have to be some of the slowest people around. read more

Once our waitress came over (we waited over 5 mins for this) she was very sweet and we had no issue with her. Now. The building itself was filthy!!!!! Coming out of the restroom, which was gross and smelled very strongly of urine, you could see straight into the kitchen. The VERY dirty kitchen. If I had gone to the restroom first, we would have left without ordering, then I see the floors of the restaurant and they are nasty, several employees are just standing gossiping while a couple are working hard. This Chili's used to be realtively clean and okay. However, lately it has been filthy and disgusting. The service is nightmarish. There's slippery food squished all over the floor. I can defiantly understand why they have a 2 star rating. I am giving my review based on 2 separate visits. ( I will not go back) I'll just give you the most recent visit. A coworker and I decided to grab a bite here with Queso as an appetizer. First it took at least 7-10 minutes for someone to take our drink order and food. My friend ordered tea and I ordered a drink from the bar. As time went by, we caught our server and ask about the chips and Queso? So the she went to the back and brought us chips and salsa to start. We ate all of the salsa and chips over the next 15mins and she finally brings our Queso, but now we're out of chip. 15mins more she brings us more chips. 10 minutes more our food comes out but we wait another 10 mins to get silverware. He said his tacos were good and my salmon was tasty as well. Now I wanted dessert, so I chose the white chocolate lava cake (to go)over my usual molten lava cake. When I got to my hotel room I was excited to open it up... But to my surprise, it was cold. The cake and the chocolate in the center was cold. What a horrible end to a crappy supper. We went to this place 3 times always hoping it would be better but it's worse every time, super slow service and food always served cold, las time the guacamole was almost black and obviously tasted nasty and manager claimed it was fresh! Trust me, avoid this place at all costs. I was at war with myself about writing a review considering every restaurant can have a bad night, but after reading other reviews and noticing that everyone hates this place, here I am to warn everyone I know and the people I don't that are reading this. I read the reviews before I went but they were 2 months old and I thought surely they would have improved plus I was hungry. I should have went with my first mine and left when it took us too long to be seated considering no one was in front of us and the hostess was busy having personally conversations than seating us but I didn't. This restaurant is honestly probably only still open because there's like no where else to eat in New Iberia. The service was below par and that's giving it more credit than it deserves. Our server didn't even tell us her name. She was beyond unprofessional and it may have been because I look younger than I am. I don't really expect much from servers considering the above mentioned fact since servers like to be nicer to people they think will tip them more and when you look 16 as I do they def don't think you have money. But I don't think it's too much to expect my server to you know, refill my drink, check on us, move with a purpose, take less than 20 minutes to get me a to go box and the check, tell me her name, etc. After all if I am here I will be paying for my meal. We did the 2 for $25. We ordered the Texas cheese fries which came out quick and over cooked but we were hungry and attempted to eat it. The pasta was great but it was missing the bread that comes with it. (I know this because I get the same thing over and over at Chili's.) literally if was the only thing that saved the night because everything else was TRASH. When it came time for dessert they were supposedly out of everything except cheesecake and I say supposedly since I overheard the servers talking shit and saying how pissed they were people were still coming in. Which is mighty funny since they didn't even have a full house. After hearing this we obviously took the dessert to go since the service was so horrible and I was beyond pissed by this point. I did not want to be in an establishment that obviously doesn't value its customers. The icing on the cake was the cheesecake was missing the glaze when I opened the box at home. This place started out as an average establishment, what do you expect? It is a Chili's chain restaurant for crying out loud. The food is decent at best and the service, as stated previously is nightmare-ish. The accountability for the servers is obviously not there. I went in today, a to-go order, may I add, and was told that my sandwich comes with a soup. So I continued to ask, 'What kind of soup do you have?' The response that I received was nearly unfathomable... This server responded with "Oh you know, the normal ones." Excuse me?! What defines as a 'normal soup menu'? I then asked her what soups would you consider to be 'normal'; she tells me to 'hol up a sec while she chec the menu' (I am using improper grammar to make the quote sound like her voice). Seriously though? Again, who is holding these servers accountable for their lack luster service? If I had more time I would unveil the laundry list of problems that is wrong with that place, unfortunately I do not have enough time in the day to do this. read more

Food is average. I have not disliked anything, nor have I loved anything I have tried. The service is HORRIBLE! Last 4 times or so I have been there, there is around a 15 minute break between visits from the server. In my last visit, food took an hour from order to receiving it. Makes so sense for a lunch to last two hours. read more

I came here to eat with my family and it took a really long time to even get noticed by the waitress, she didn't pay attention to my order and completely ignored my order, after reminding another waitress that I hadn't gotten my food she said that she would fix it which she didn't, when I reminded the original waitress she said that she would put it in not even acknowledging her mistake, and my food was cold by the time it finally came out. ordered curbside, specifically put what i wanted extra and sides of. got to Chili's texted the 866 number that i arrived and it told me a specific time. Twenty minutes had passed and i called three times (placed on hold) trying to figure out where my order was. Finally a girl answered i told her whats going (she was rude) and said well here's the manager. He gets on the phone and says well the kitchen is backed up but thats not an excuse and says hold on one second. He doesnt come back to the phone he walks outside with my food and doesnt even say thanks for coming. The only time the food is good is during the day. The night staff is slow and lazy. The Food took almost a hour to get to our table the last time we went , and it was cold. The night time staff should be trained by the day staff on how to take care of customers. It is literally night and day over there. read more

We typically choose this location over Houma. Our typical order is Cajun chicken pasta, a full rack of ribs, 2 kids meals, queso, and southwest rolls. We have never complained of the rolls, kids meal, and queso. The ribs and pasta are typically good also. This past time we ordered the Texas ribs which stated more meat, but honestly, we don't see much of a difference. A full rack of texas ribs is equivalent to a half rack of regular ribs. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, out waiter and manager addressed the issue in a professional manner. I wish I would have remembered their names bc they were great. Our waiter was very informative and helpful. He tended to our table very well considering other tables equally. Of the times I've gone, he was our best waiter by far. The only reason I've given a 4 star because of the quality/quantity of some food items and the fact that several of the other waitresses we've had did not exhibit such service. We had one that would always say "I promise" for everything and would forget everything she would need to get for us. read more

As grandparents go, we're no different from others. Christmas was a blast with all the kids and all. We arrived back home and rested awhile. When New Years hit, we called around and none of the kids were up for company so we -went to Chili's! We felt like family, the staff made us feel like we belonged right there. On top of it all the food was awesome. The prices were fair and with the 2 for 20 bucks,You can't go wrong. They did not know, But! We were celebrating our 33rd Anniversary and it was as if they had been told about it. The experience was wonderful. I came off as a Hero to my wife. Thank You Very Much. read more

My family and I recently went to Chili's to celebrate the beginning of summer vacation with our children. We have 3 daughters and they were very excited to go, as we all were, since we LOVE Chili's so much. Well since I signed up for your newsletter, I was able to print out 2 coupons for ALL THREE of my kids to eat FREE!! We had such a great time when we went, as it's a great atmosphere in Chili's, very fun and inviting. We enjoyed our food as well, but our waitress was a little busy so we did have to wait for drink's when we needed more....which was understandable. By the end of the meal we were all fully satisfied with our meal, and left on a happy note...especially beings that we only paid $25 for EVERYTHING. For 5 people to have a sit down meal, that's a steal of a meal! Thanks Chili's we appreciate you thinking of those of us who have a budget!! read more

Went last night Saturday 3/25/17 to watch NCAA playoffs. Walked to bar, no employee by bar. Three customers at bar all had their drinks. After waiting 15 minutes employee entered the bar area told me she would be with me in a few minutes. I wanted to ask her about changing a TV to the game. My husband didn't want to wait, we left. Absolutely horrible service. We have been there other times, service still really bad. Just like one of the other customers, not to many place in New Iberia to go eat and watch sports. The worst service I have ever received from this chain. We visited this location twice in a two week period. Both times the service was very slow about 15 minutes to get a drink. The waitress took a leave of absence during our meal and never refilled our drinks. If it was not for the table pay option we would still be sitting there waiting on a check!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant! After we were seated our waitress came and took our drink order and then came back and brought us our drinks and took our food order... it took us over an hour to get our appetizers, and atleast another hour before we even got our food. And then when we got our food things were messed up and food was cold. We had to ask multiple times when we needed something. There was barley anyone in the restaurant, there was no excuse to have such poor service and have to wait so long for our food! We were told by the waitress that they had so many to-go orders and they were so busy with the to-go that's why our food was taking so long. We could obviously tell that the to-go orders were their priorities. You would think that they would atleast do first come first serve with the to-go orders and the dine in customers, but it seems like they make sure all their to-go orders are done before they actually take care of their dine in customers. We will not be eating there ever again. If I wasn't there for a family members birthday I would have walked out. Horrible experience all around and no one was nice. Don't waist your time or money on this place. Service is horrible and food is not the best. For the area you are limited on places to eat if you are not a local. Avoid at all cost. Service was LOUSY. Food arrived COLD! Even though drink menu advertised happy hour, was informed there was no happy hour (and this was on a Wed. before seven). Waitress apparently left food under warming lights too long, either due to being too busy or maybe inattention. This review is the result a multiple visits to this Chillis. This is the worst Chillis in the world. The staff is inattentive, the food at best is poorly done. More than once what we have received to eat fails to follows their franchise recipies. You often wait up to 20 minutes to order. Never expect to get refills of any drink. You will be waiting a long time to get your food - and be glad if they get it all right it does not happen often. Often the restaurant tables are covered with the plates from previous customers while you wait to be seated. Few employees seem to care about the customer or their job. The service here is terrible. My family and I came for lunch on a Sunday but after the lunch rush. It took 15 minutes for the sever to take our drink order. The food was delivered cold but with no silverware. We asked for it from the gentleman that delivered the food and our waitress and never got it. After 10 minutes I went to the bar to get my own.
