Beware check your drinks and ice for little nats they were in my husbands drink and in mine once we mentioned to our waiter all she told us was "We don't cover our ice so there's a chance they'll fly in there we can't do anything about it sorry". We looked at each like okay that's it? Went there today arrived at 1 seated quickly. Ordered their cherry margaritas then waited ten min later waiter came back ordered chips n salsa no drinks still another 10 min drinks n 2 min later salsa. Ordered can fajitas rice was hard and chicken was burned. Food tasted like it was burned . Half way thru lunch ordered another drink waited finished lunch and waited another 10 minutes. Then waiter showed up . Funny second drink was on bill but 20 min after I ordered it I was still waiting. The place was busy but not 20 min for a drink busy. When we left the bar was a 1/4 full . horrible horrible horrible! during our visit last night for dinner not only was our order brought out to us wrong but what do we see?? cockroaches in the restroom and dining area... when reported it to the manager not only was he rude he came up with a lie and getting the corpoorate number out of him was like pulling a tooth out... it took me 6 minutes on the phone with him to finally get the number out of him. this is just gross. never going back.. ever read more

I have NEVER been to a Chili's restaurant so poorly managed before! Monday night during the winter break and the place was packed. We were told that it would be about 35 minutes for a table. As we sat and waited, we continued to see people leaving but very few people being seated. A look around us revealed at least six empty tables. There were tables stacked with plates that were never cleared during the time we waited. Customers continued to pour in and wait. What was worse were the half a dozen or so empty tables on the other side of the restaurant that we saw as we gave up and left! NEVER going back there! read more

Been going to the Palmdale Chili's for over fifteen years and have never had food as bad as I did on this LAST occasion. (Come to think about it I don't think I've had food this bad at any other restaurant). Our waitress, Kimberly did a very good job. If this is the same "Kimberly" with a very bad prior review then kudos to her now. I love rib-eye steak. Not to toot my own horn but I make a far better rib-eye than most any restaurant except Chili's......until now! I could only stomach half of my dinner. I told the waitress and she went through the normal checklist of options. I was not about to make my other guests wait around for the 'cook' to make me another steak or be subjected to an argument with the manager and I was NOT going to take a "free meal ticket". The rib-eye was dry, cold. flat (as if fried on a flat griddle) and tasteless. The cook had placed a glob of butter on the steak but it wouldn't melt. This steak was obviously "pre-cooked"! The waitress insisted that it was freshly cooked. (Not even hardly). I know fresh cooked vs pre-cooked. The next afternoon I kept thinking about my experience at Chili's. I felt it absolutely necessary to now talk with the manager. I called and a man with a thick Mexican accent answered. I asked to speak with the manager and he identified himself as the manger. He said his name was Raul. I told him of the experience and he immediately said that they do not pre-cook their steaks. I suggested that maybe one of his cooks was sneaking this procedure through and he (Raul) wasn't aware of it. (Very common for cooks to pre-cook steaks in order to keep up with a dinner rush). Raul said that he would 'investigate' this matter and call me back.....that's been five days now. Looking at the reviews I see that another customer had exchanged words with the manager "Jose". food is consistently good. the bar is a great atmosphere. MOST of the bartenders are really nice and efficient. but some servers and select bartenders should focus more on their jobs and less on flirting. read more

Stood at the entrance. Four employees saw my party and ignored us. The restaurant was completely empty. As this is restaurant row we decided to take our business over to BJ's. Best thing we ever did. Food is so much better and the service is excellent. We were not ignored at BJ's. Do yourself a favor and go any place else where they respect customers. read more

I've came to Chilis may times but this last time I was here which was this morning was not so good. When we first arrived the place was empty no servers at the front to get our table going...couple minutes after our server comes and takes us to our table. Her attitude was very unpleasant. She had only brought out 4 silver wear when we were 6! When I asked to get 2 more she made a "ughh" face. The coffee I asked for didn't come out until 15 minutes later!! By the time I was getting the check the coffee came out. My visit today was not the bestest one! read more

My six year old and I walked in about 3:30 on Friday the 23rd and the restaurant was empty. The bar had a few customers with one server who made eye contact as we walked in. On the bench was an employee reading a book. I could see a server busing a table to my right but she never looked our way. We stood there in the center of the entry waiting to be greeted, seated or told someone will be with you in a moment, ANYTHING! No one said a word. I spoke loudly and told my son I guess they don't want our business, let's go to Red Robin. We walked out and I won't be going there again. All they had to do was speak up and say hello. read more

Your average run of the mill chain restaurant. You will always get consistent food and consistent service here but nothing spectacular. We usually go to BJ's but they had a long waiting list and we decided to go here instead and like I said, it is average all around. Would go back but not a memorable experience. read more

Went here today for lunch with my mom and sister. I liked that we didn't have to wait to be seated and were helped right away but our waiter seemed a little distracted at times, he forgot to bring my moms drink twice, and a table that came after us got their appetizers before us...and we'd asked for chips and salsa which takes no preparation...but the food came out in good time but it looked like someone from the kitchen brought it, not our absent waiter. Chilis at the Antelope Valley Mall!! I enjoy the heck out of this place! I enjoy that the staff is friendly and out going! Shot most even make an effort to remeber your name!! The new happy and game time menu is a much needed improvement!! I like the fact that the managers listen to concerns of the customers. They have also made improvements to both the inside an outside in recent months! agree with negative reviews. had a very bad experience and contacted corporate, who after some ridiculous requests, did send $15.00 in vouchers. agreed to meet a friend who was late, so went into the bar. there was one table being served. after waiting at the bar, inquired if there was a server. the server was cleaning a vacant table and advised she was the bartender, but was alone. she continued cleaning and disappeared into the back. after waiting approx., 10 min, was so disgusted that I left. does cleaning tables with no customer equate to a tip for a paying customer? this place needs training for all staff!! Haven't been here in years but got a gift card for Christmas. So why not, right? Ya, I quickly remember why I don't come here! It was lunch time about 130. Not to many people In there, I see empty tables around us. So can you tell me why it took over half an hour to get our food?? A hamburger & turkey sandwich. Once we finally got the food we noticed both the orders were messed up. The excuse.... There was 2 new cooks in the back. What they can't read "no onions" on the waitresses slip?? And if there's 2 new cooks, why would it take that long? 2 is usually better then one! Right? Well in this case maybe dumb and dumber need to find other jobs! Maybe subway! At least our waitress Andrea (I believe) was quick to apologize for the "new kitchen workers". Or maybe that was just the excuse for "illiterate/slow kitchen workers". We were ignored for 10 mins. Finally someone asked us if we need help and we said "yes we need a table". Finally we get a table and we got the last one with very little light. We asked for a different table due to my mother not being able to see the menu but they said there was no more available but clearly there was many left so we said it was fine as we noticed they didn't want to give us a different table. The hostess didn't even introduce himself. As we noticed other people coming in and he gave them a nice welcome he even showed them how their touch screen tablet on every table works and how they could order from there before the waitress gets there unlike like us he didn't even explain to us what it was for or that we could even use it. I went to Chili's at the request of my autistic son. What a miserable meal. Although we were seated promptly and our order was taken quickly, were were basically ignored by our waiter. He came 40 min. into our wait to let us know that our orders had been misplaced and that it was recovered and in process. He offered us chips and salsa for the inconvenience. We never saw him again after that. Other members of the staff delivered the meals. No one came by to see if we needed anything, and I had to ask another waiter for a refill on our drinks. No one came to see how we wanted to pay. He didn't get a tip. If I had been dishonest, I could have walked out without paying: we were THAT ignored. read more

I love chili's. This is one of my favorite restaurants. But the place here in Palmdale?! No way! My husband and I went there for date night. It was packed, waited 2o mins to be seated, but honestly the wait didn't really bother us. So we got to our table and the waitress didn't come by for about 15 mins. We grew impatient. Finally she came by and would only let us order our drinks, even though we told her we knew what food we wanted already. So we ordered our drinks and waited. Again. Another 15 mins went by. She came back with our drinks and we ordered our food. Now, where we were seated we could see straight into the kitchen. From my view into the kitchen I watched as she picked up a plate, then rearranged the food on the plate with her fingers! No gloves or anything. I was disgusted. So I went up to another waitress and complained. She told me she would personally deliver our meal. We waited another 45 mins before our ribs came, and they were the wrong ones. Having had enough we spoke to a manager and he had given us this lame excuse about being short handed. We wound up only paying for our drinks and left exasperated. A horrible experience! The waitress never came by to even give us a refill on the drinks. It was definitely one of the worst experiences we've had. read more
