I'm so mad I can't even form the thoughts. I have celiacs. I ordered according to the GLUTEN FREE MENU they have online. THE RESTAURANT explicitly stated ON THEIR WEBSITE that the chips are gluten free AND NO MODIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED. !!THEY ARE NOT!!! This is EXTREMELY important for people with celiacs and gluten allergies to know. They are fried in a shared frier and therefore heavily cross contaminated. They will not be safe for any level of gluten intolerance. My husband brings them out and says, "did you order the chips for you? They said they're fried in a shared frier." WTF?! It says online that they're gluten free! We paid $6 for these to go in the trash. We went in to try to resolve the issue and they simply re-verified that the restaurant is falsifying information on their website and said nobody else is there to deal with it. At the very least we should've been given a refund without question. Absolutely INSANE. I'm not even 15 minutes down the road yet but had I eaten these I would already be on the phone with a personal injury attorney who is a client of mine. read more

Happened to be close to this spot and have never tried Sharkys so decided to give it a go. I ordered a tempura fish burrito, an à la carte taquito, and the mini churros. First they forgot my side of poblano queso but as I took my order to go I didn't realize until after I had gotten home. The burrito was decently filled but really there was so little fish in comparison to the rice and beans it made it a little disappointing, I wouldn't get it again. The taquito was the shiny star here, soft but crisp at the same time and with a great flavor! If I were to come back I would order the taquito entree. The mini churros were okay, not great but not bad. I also had a side of guac and a few salsas. Overall really bland flavors across the board, the salsas labeled as spicy had no spice to them. The fire roasted and the chipotle crema (extra charge) were the only 2 of the 7 condiments I tried that I would get again. If I'm craving great taquitos I will be back otherwise I didn't find this spot one that is worth the visit. read more

Nothing wrong with them, but light on the flavor. Salsas from the salsa bar were good. Not really the bold mexican flavors I was hoping for. Ordering is bistro style and dishes came out as-ordered and quickly. I did find the kiosk ordering system frustrating. Something about it felt tedious and hard to choose what you wanted. For several items it felt hard to tell what was a default topping/filling. Maybe if I were a regular it would have been more natural, I don't know. The staff I interacted with were great - polite, cheery, helpful - and were actively cleaning and refilling as customers came and went. If you are looking for something reliable and easy for a group that includes some picky eaters, it's great. If you're seeking something more interesting, I'd pass. read more

Well, I came upon this location while working in Palmdale and Lancaster. I come here often and I order their tacos which are always fresh and delicious. Customer service is outstanding from the manager Cristina she always looks professional act professional, and is quite friendly. I'll continue to come here for the fresh ingredients and the wonderful customer service. It's actually one of the few fast food restaurants that I'm willing to tip. This is an unsuspecting gem for those who are afflicted with NCGS. They have a good amount of tasty options that are worry-free options to choose from. The salsa bar is always kept stocked and clean and I've never had an issue if I've asked staff for some salsa from the back that I don't have to worry about cross-contamination. Great fresh food and clean restaurant. A salsa bar is a big plus. Came here for lunch and it was busy. Took around 30 minutes to get my food. Maybe a little too long considering it was just a salmon burrito. I guess I'm just inpatient and hungry. Either way I wasn't thrilled but the burrito was delicious. I stumbled upon this place a few months ago. I wasn't too sure what to expect, but it was so good. The food is super fresh, clean & delicious. My go to order is the fajita bowl with salmon. Thing I like the most, is that the salmon is always cooked perfectly. It's flaky & is such a good portion size. You feel satisfied after you eat here. It's also always clean & the staff is great! I was just in and, one of the girls offered me a bag for my salsas that I was holding while waiting for my to-go. I didn't even have to ask, they're extremely attentive. The chicken was juicy and seasoned and everything else added great flavor to it. The only bad part was that sharky's forgot my friends utensils and they all ordered bowls. The food is excellent. I especially like the power bowl. Service is also excellent. However, we have noticed several times that staff is rather lax with their hygiene habits. For example, cleaning tables without gloves on and then going to collect food to serve without washing hands first or putting on gloves before serving at table. Another example, using same cloth they used to clean table to then dry off silverware. Hopefully this practice will cease as I really like the food and would hate to stop eating there but I also don't want to get sick from possible cross contamination or poor hygiene practice. read more

I'm glad that the Antelope Valley has a Sharky's given the limited options that are available. My wife loves this place, and I am a fan of the healthy choices as well. The entrance was inviting and clean, and the service was excellent. I appreciated that the cashier was friendly and patient in explaining the food choices that they have. I had the original 2-taco plate with steak. My meal was really delicious and I could distinctly taste the freshness in the ingredients, where the meal was not significantly processed like other fast-food establishments. My wife had the organic tofu power plate and she said that she loved it. So in my opinion, tofu tastes like nothing, but apparently my wife said that it was wonderfully seasoned and prepared to perfection. The dining area was clean upon our arrival, and quickly cleaned after each customer exited. The salsa options were awesome and the freshness in these choices was evident as well. I could have grabbed a chair and some chips, and just sat right next to the salsa bar! Sharky's is a great option for folks that live in the AV, and it is worth a visit when you want something spicy yet healthy as well. read more

I was told no sodium is added except pesto is added to the roasted veggies. The pesto was not added and the entire dish tasted great. No blast of salt like last time. read more

But my girlfriend was told they would stop making gluten-free corn tortilla quesadillas which is a super simple request that is very easy and Sharkeys cannot do that anymore that is so annoying Sharkeys you have lost us as customers we will no longer come here thank you for letting us down and not being accommodating to my disabled girlfriend with G.I. issues and also she can't have gluten if she could have gluten she would be eating your "quesadillas" but she can't so we won't come here anymore.
