If you say Applebee's is better I hate you on a molecular level. This establishments hands down my favorite I've ever been to. The service is always attentive and makes sure you food is perfect. The manager often come around making sure everything is going well, as well. Music is usually at the prime level of being able to talk over it but also not having to yell or having your eyes cross from trying to listen to a conversation and the music at the same time. The service was slow. Manager stopped by and asked if we wanted more chips and salsa. Said food would be right out, the wings were taking longer than expected. We finally got out food and the bones in the chicken wings were cold....then we didn't get an order of fries yet and they would be right out and hot. Not sure what I was expecting, but I walked into what appears to be the mexican applebees. Just a bunch of fajitas and tacos and steak menu. I was not thrilled by the selection or the pricing. Service was middle of the road, nothing that outstanding or terrible. The dish my girlfriend ordered was supposed to have chicken, it came out with none. They fixed it though. For the price, I would say you could do better elsewhere. I really don;t think $18 for a steak at this kind of place is worth it and the cuts of meat are kind of lousy. I mean, if I am paying $18 for a steak, I want an $18 steak not something that looks like it would fit on the mcdonalds menu. We proceeded to order a carry out special for $25. We ordered it online and requested a pick up of 6pm. We arrived a bit early and waited until 6:05pm. I entered the carry out area and nobody was there although I could hear staff in the kitchen. I was going to sit down however there was somebody sleeping on the courtesy bench so I just stood there. At 6:15 another party came in and got their order and left while I was still standing there. Maybe 5 minutes later the individual that was there called for a manager. The manager was working the register console and basically told me there was a mistake and one order was ready and the other wasn't. She deducted half the cost of the order and said we'll bring it right out. Ten minutes later we had our food. Arrived home only to find the most greasy burger ever. The bun was soaked and basically not edible because it had soaked up a log of grease. The other item was a fajita which was cold and the flour tortillas were stuck together. The onions and peppers were also very greasy. I am very disappointed with this service. Also the waiting area where I was standing was filthy (I had plenty of time to look around). There was some uneaten food on the counter, somebody sleeping on the waiting bench, the floor was scattered with plastic utensils and the floor did not appear to have been swept lately, also the corners were filthy. I'm sorry for the poor review but this event was a total flop and if they want to succeed in the online order / carry out business they need to step up their game. I will not order again. read more

Would it kill these people to smile? Went there on a recent afternoon, hadn't been there in awhile, usually go evenings. Not as good as it was a few years ago. "Hostess with the Leastest" has no sense of humor. Server must have been feuding with her because she didn't seem too happy to have us sitting at her table. Cook must've had a bad day too-- margarita chicken was overdone and looked disgusting when they brought it out. I cut off the charred parts because I know that blackened meat contains carcinogens, and tossed the nasty burnt chips to the side, the rest was edible. Last 2 times we went, food was terrible! 2nd time was just yesterday-7/23/2019-and the SERVER was horrible! I'm not sure why he immediately hated us but he went to every table around us about double the amount he came to us. We ordered 3 drinks and an appetizer-apparently, he thought that was all we should eat because we literally had to say, "no, we are ordering food out of the menu as well"! Waited 20 minutes and asked twice for a drink refill before I got it. I was literally finishing my meal when it rolled up. Never asked us if we wanted dessert. Tried a piece of my bf's fajita beef-tasted like charcoal and was completely overcooked to the point where it looked/tasted like beef jerky. We spend a lot of time on the road and like to stop at Chili's. We stopped in Stevens point location about 4PM. I had the worse steak I have ever had in my life! I ordered a Medium Rib eye and it was so over done I couldn't eat it. I don't think it could have been any worse thank it was. Food is always excellent, as are the drinks at the full bar. However, don't expect your drinks to be filled regularly. Appetizers usually come out with the meal, which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. We come back for the margaritas here, but have found other places in Point that make better margaritas. The service that we receive here almost monthly is horrid. I would not recommend this restaurant. We have regularly sat for 10 mins before even being approached by a server. read more

Ordered from the It's Just Wings inside, and sadly since there's no place to leave a review for it being inside a chili's, I decided here would be the best place. Upon ordering my food a half hour early I was told to wait until an associate came to check in with me and my order, after about 40 minutes of waiting in my vehicle I called the store to see if something had happen to my order. When I asked the employee over the phone she told me they were understaffed and that only happens when they were busy, that I should come inside and pick up my delivery (which I had no problems doing). My issue is the fact none of this was said in my confirmation email, or on the app. The chain of communication was shit, so I went home with soggy as hell fries and wings that were sauce-less. This is the only review in my life I have written and the only time I've trashed on a restaurant. What's even more annoying is I tipped in good faith. read more

Hospitality is always great. Margaritas are fruity and delicious. I'm not a huge fan of most of the Mexican food options, but I drool over the fajitas. The ribs and pasta are so good. I looove the Texas Cheese Fries! Cheese curds are good too. The only negative I find about this Chili's (which for them is probably a positive) is that we can never find a place to park unless we are there right when they open or at a super random mid-day time during the week. So we usually don't waste our time for dinner or weekend meals unless we pick it up to go. read more

Chili's has an incredibly delicious Santa Fe Chicken Wrap! It's absolutely wonderful. Even though you are full when completely consumed, your taste buds will continue to desire more. Food was awful this time. Tasted bland it servings were smaller then usually. Soup was also cold and looked like it had been sitting out awhile. Our waitress was also too busy to come by and refill our water and ask if I wanted more soup..I got the bottomless soup and only ended up getting one bowl because she never came by to ask. This is not advertized in the menu or on the wall but we were pleased to find out that we vegetarians need not stay away from Chili's any more. The Plover Chili's restaurant offers many tasty combination meat and vegetable dishes (e.g., Asian Salad) WITHOUT the meat and it charges less for the vegetarian offerings served by a friendly wait staff. read more
