This Chili's has seen some ups and downs since it started. Service is at times amazing and other times not so great. Depends on who you get as a waiter/waitress. The meals are typically fairly priced and there is a lot of good options. Seems to have undergone some recent renovations which I enjoy. Doesn't feel as cramped in the restaurant as it used to. I like the fajita meal and some of the lighter choices such as the Margarita Grilled Chicken. Appetizers are pretty solid and chips/salsa are very good! The drink options are great too. This location does have a bar and multiple TV's which typically have sports on. Seats are comfy and restaurant is well maintained. Location is perfect right off Highway 26. Parking is plentiful. *UPDATE* 12/09/17 Last visit was very unpleasant. Food was bland. Ribs I received were so chewy I had to spit it out. Drinks weren't made well either sadly. Place seems to be going downhill lately. *UPDATE* 8/19/22 Finally decided to come back and give this place a try. Was pleasantly surprised. Food felt much better than it has been in awhile. Seems to be a viable option again.

Took a trip out to Nebraska for work and came across this gem of a chain. From my past experiences they've seem to have stepped up their menu with different choices. Service: I sat at the bar where the service was on par. The bartender regularly filled my iced tea, answered my questions, and checked in with me occasionally. Food: For a chain I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a house salad that seemed fresh enough. For the main lunch I got the smoked chicken quesadillas with a green roasted aioli sauce. I could actually taste the smokiness of the chicken while the peppers and onions were sautéed well carrying that same flavor. The aioli sauce made the dish much better as I drenched each piece. I'm not a huge fries fan but they were OK. Overall, this is a solid place for a quick lunch but then again, Scottsbluff, Nebraska isn't known to be a foodie town haha.

When in Scottsbluff, NE, choices for food are limited and i find that there are no truly great options. Chili's is adequate for dinner on the road. HH all day brings them up a bit in my book. Two drinks during HH and a salad to go satisfies me nicely. They offer consistent food, nothing fancy just all American classics with a few twists here and there. Not my destination of choice but when in a rural area like this, it's the best option.

The above was what I ordered. Below was what I received.

Food is good, service is terrible. Waited for 20 minutes for waitress to take our order, and it wasn't busy.

Pretty much sucked all the way around. Of all the Chilis I've eaten at, this was the worse. Our waiter was very nice though!!!

I ordered online. They were running late when I arrived at the restaurant they gave me a free drink. Their attitudes were friendly.

I'm in Scottsbluff, NE on my way to Utah. This was my stopover for tonight…read more I grabbed a room at the Quality Inn and this restaurant was directly behind it . If you follow my reviews, you'll notice that I travel quite extensively in my work and it seems like I always find a Mexican restaurant. I'm also a foodie. I am not picky, but I am particular. I like the way the food looks, I like the ambience of the restaurant and of course it Hass to taste good. I like everything about this restaurant. The surroundings were like the most Midwest Mexican restaurants. I mean the whole Mazatlan motif with the furniture and things like that. When you first sit down, as with most Mexican restaurants, they'll drop some chips and salsa on the table . I was pleasantly surprised to see they dropped. Frijole is on the table as well. I proceeded to order a corona and some queso and guacamole . I'm ready to start eating my chips and relax with a beer. I really don't try to rush in gorge myself and leave, because I travel so much I use this more of a relaxation time. I had the Combo #4. Chile Relleno, Taco, Burrito and Guacamole Tostada with Rice and Beans ($14). Every part of the meal was good. I mean it is what it is for most Mexican restaurants in the Midwest. This one stood out more than the rest. It's closer to a Jalisco Mexican, which you would find in Texas, Arizona or California. I would rate this one higher than most that you will find in the Midwest. I mean it's really damn good. The service was outstanding, and it was a great place to chill and when I'm in Scottsbluff, Nebraska again, I will definitely eat here.

I had Tilipia and it was deep fried to much. It was difficult to early. xxxcccxcccccccccccread more

If you're a fan of food that tastes like it's practicing social distancing from seasoning, congratulations--you've found your soulmate. We walked in and were told to seat ourselves, which felt a little like being released into a corn maze. The restaurant is chopped into secret rooms you can't see from the entrance, so after poking my head around like a confused meerkat, we gave up and parked ourselves by the front door. It was busy, though I suspect that's due to long-standing loyalty and not a sudden outbreak of taste buds. The waiter greeted us with, "Do you need menus?" No sir, we brought our own crystal ball. Yes, we need menus--we've never been here. The options included tacos, burritos, tostadas, and--mysteriously--a deep-fried hotdog, which felt like it wandered in from a county fair and refused to leave. We ordered the pork chili smothered burritos. When mine arrived, I finished it in under eight bites--new personal record. For $6 I expected a burrito, not a participation trophy. They've clearly built a devoted following of people who enjoy food on mute, so they probably won't notice us slipping away. We wish them well--and if you enjoy culinary adventures in the land of bland, this might be your happy place.

Had 4 tables sat in her section in 20 minutes while at least 3 other servers, 2 hostesses/bussers and the manager stood around not lifting a damn finger. 3 of the tables sat stood at the front door for over 10 minutes each while the other servers looked right at them but continued doing side work. At one point 3 tables didn't even have waters let alone drink orders while the manager danced around the bar.The bartender was also struggling to keep up with a completely full bar. I stopped our waitress and explained to her that I was extremely aware of her managers/coworkers utter laziness. The poor girl broke down in tears. I gave her every damn dollar in my wallet. More than what my check even was. Absolutely disgraceful management. I would have said all of this directly to her but she completely disappeared to the back after the table next to us waited 15 minutes without being acknowledged and had words with her. I will only be going back to suggest that Deborah find employment with my company as hard working people like her are hard to come and she deserves better
