I ate here yesterday and I was a little disappointed after ordering ribs then being told that they were out of ribs. I had a taste for ribs lol. I then order a side of mac'n' cheese and was told that was out also . I ordered sirloin and it was a little tough but overall it was pretty good . They have a really good money saver for two people including patron for two also . I've never seen drinks added in with the meal but great incentive. I don't know if I had 1 or 5 waitresses because I was visited by several waitresses that brought different things but I tipped well anyway. I have a long history with Chili"s restaurant. I used to go to the one in Fayetteville which was excellent I'd say about 10 years ago. For this reason, it was slightly exciting to have one open in Moore County. Unfortunately the quality for this location has been variable but mostly not very good. Years ago, a server told me she only worked here because it was the only place in town that didn't drug test! Oh well. I have not eaten here in three years. The one in Fayetteville has also gone downhill as well. I no longer consider Chilis a good place to go eat. Today, I missed lunch, I was in the mood for a burger, and for some reason about 5 PM I thought well why don't I swing by Chili's and eat there? maybe it won't be so awful... So I went in with a moderately bad attitude. I ate at the bar which was empty. There were a few diners scattered in the restaurant. I ordered the Santa Fe burger which was slightly spicy, a pretty good recipe. I ordered the burger medium and although it may have come somewhat medium rare it was excellent. The meat seemed to be very fresh. The fries were perfect. The service was very friendly and the server was nice her name was Sierra. Now, The restaurant was not crowded so they were not terribly challenged. Still, I was shocked that the quality and the food was very good. Keep in mind that I inflate my reviews and a five star may really mean 4 stars but we are not in midtown Manhattan so my expectations have been adjusted accordingly. Reason for visit: usually a beer and something on TV Service: Emily set the restaurant a few times but I mostly sit at the bar. The bartender's are friendly and very quick to give you service if it is not busy. Once he gets busy it seems like they get overloaded. The management helps out as best they can but it always seems like there shortstaffed. Food: there's nothing fancy here but there are some good lunch options and the basic American style grill food. Trust the rating. Two adults and one child greeted after the three greeters finished what they were talking about with "Just two and a half". Server was great. Super nice and super attentive. Food was the biggest disappointment of the day. Chicken ctispers not crispy but chewy(microwave). My chipolte tenders were about 1/3 covered with sauce. Texas toast(not toasted). Kid cheeseburger so dry and over cooked. Kitchen crew just suffering. Manager was on the floor helping set up for a large group but we never spoke. Sounded like a construction crew working right next to us. You may think this review is kind of nit-picking but the overall experience just failed to please us in any way. So started with a wait empty restaurant but ok then got a margarita (my favorite drink) so I get one and the sour mix was so thick and sweet I couldn't do it so she has a manager remake again very thick and gross . So I try for a angry orchard server comes back there out of that so I ask for a minute as she seems to be in a rush. She never came back. There are many big issues at this location. I ordered chicken crispers, they were sent to me burnt. I had to send them back. It took almost 20 minutes to get replacement, and my wife was almost done with her meal. The restaurant is filthy. The floors greasy. The AC vent over top of me was dripping condensation on my head. I had to move my chair. The vents themselves are filthy with dust and grease and haven't been cleaned in a long time. There were cobwebs in the windows. This location used to be packed on Friday nights, but it was barely 1/3 occupied. Now I know why, because of the poor food quality and filthy restaurant. Even the chairs were dirty. The only positive was our waitress Kasey. She was attentive and always checking on us. She was very apologetic on the burnt food. The manager did comp the crispers meal. Someone needs to really take charge of this restaurant and get their act together. Nearby table of 4 ladies ordered salads. It took 30 minutes for them to get their salads. read more

I got a free appetizer in the email and had some gift cards from kelloggs rewards and that is what drew me here so I shouldnt complain. To start the queso was room temperature and the chips were 75 percent small broken crumbs. The ribs were so fatty that I couldnt even eat them. The mashed pototoes were lukewarm. My husbands sliders were red in the center. Only good thing was the onion rings. We will not be back for a very long time. I came to chili's to enjoy a nice dinner with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. We enjoyed our original server.but she had to leave early so we were put with Lauren. She paid quite a bit of attention to the table next to us but after our server left she never came to our table for the 20 minutes we sat there. She was extremely rude and continuously shot dirty looks at me. She was also rude to the host on duty who was very kind and cool headed although the restaurant was extremely busy. That being said. If you have children I'm sure she is a decent server... if you're on a date I would definitely recommend requesting a different waitress. read more

We've visited Chili's many times over the years...mainly in Raleigh. On visits to the Sandhills we have enjoyed the local unit without any complaints. In fact our second visit recently was better than the previous visit. I had the double burger and it was delicious. So fresh and tasty. I did not think I could eat it all after I started with a bowl of soup. Wow, excellent taste...a cheesy broccoli. The fries were so good others at the table were quick to sample them. Arrived at about 1:25, not busy, 3 servers and reception girl. Waited 15 mins for beverage, 10 mins later order was taken. Of course ordered chip and salsa which never came, food sat in window for a while before it was brought to the table. They ran out of sweet tea and waited 15 more mins for refill. The bartender said she just started there and was not trained on menu or procedures. The manager was hit and miss on damage control with all the food issues and service issues. This used to be a favorite place for us to go. Service was great and food was good. Last 4 times I was here service was slow beyond belief. I had written this place off but, it had been a while so I decided to give them another try. After about 5 minutes a server greeted me and asked for my drink order (I was in the bar area and seated myself). I asked her what beer they had on tap and she read off a decent list, many of which were local that I was unfamiliar with. I asked her about three and she didn't know them and said she'd check. She poured the three beers into double shot glasses, looked at them, poured them out and then told what color they were and "kinda" what they smelled like. Really? They were fresh. The chips were fresh made. My short rib enchilada - same thing... seasoned appropriately, my wife's tequila chicken bowl-something or other was equally competent. Kids - they're easy to please - pizza and chicken fingers what else? My ice tea - I normally ask for half-half, but forgot to do so, but it didn't matter... it was not sickeningly sweet...it was just right. Price: No surprises there.. it was inexpensive. My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised. We will come back when we're in the mood for American style grill. Good value this evening. No complaints. Competent dining experience. Keep it up. Oh wait... no, one minor complaint... get some local craft brews in there please. Blue moon is not a craft brew... it just isn't. neither is PBR although I don't mind it in the summer time... they had Sam Adams Oktoberfest, but common... that's it? Besides, its Fall and 50 degrees out...you don't drink American Lager this time of year unless you're old (or young), and/or you're just looking to get intoxicated. This restaurant has always been slow but at lunch today we walked into the restaurant with five occupied tables. There were three groups waiting to be seated. In the five to ten minutes we stood in the entrance we saw one waitress and one bartender. No one ever approached the people at the front. We left after about ten minutes. If I had seen the reviews I would not have stopped in. I'm glad I missed the reviews because I was pleasantly pleased with my experience. Last time I ate at Chili's was in 2008. My wife and I stopped in and made our order of a few Appetizers and I got a main of Mix and Match Trio Fajitas. (After seeing the menu again, I just realized I never got my beans, guac, or pico with my order). I must say that the meal was excellent. Overall we were very pleased with the entire experience. The food was seasoned perfectly and the taste was WOW. The flavor and tenderness of the meats for the fajitas was melt in your mouth tender. Everyone we can in contact with from walking in the door to paying the check was very pleasant. I had all intentions of leaving five stars but after realizing my order was incomplete I dropped a star for lack of attention to detail. Thank you. read more

The food took too long and forgot to make one of my orders! Burgers are very greasy & messy. I would not recommend this restaurant for a Sunday dinner or a quick bite. Wait time is about 25-30 to take your order& depending on the amount of guests you bring the wait time will be longer (the more people the longer the wait). I usually don't review restaurants but here it goes... My family went for dinner on Fathers day. We ordered the texas french fries with the works. The fries were very fresh and came put rather quickly. Our waitress Charity was very attentive and kept us laughing. She always had a smile on her face when she walked and never let our drinks go below half. Although she was very busy, she did not try to rush us to order. I ended up getting a combo with dry rub ribs, corn on the cob and french fries.My ribs were very tender and the corn was to die for. My wife ordered the pasta which she said was very tasty.
