Uff... where do I even begin. My daughter was in town, so we went to Chili's with her and her fiancé, and the experience was disappointing from the very start. We asked for a table for seven, and while they quickly started putting one together, they seated us at a high-top without asking if it would work for our group. With my elderly parents along, that was not an option. When I asked for a regular table, the staff gave an odd excuse about not wanting to "over encumber" servers and seemed intent on keeping everyone in the bar area, even though the main dining area was almost completely empty. After a long delay, they finally set up a proper table. Our server seemed inexperienced. When my daughter asked if they had mocktails, he didn't know what that meant. She explained they were virgin drinks, and he told us they didn't have any, until we suggested things like a Shirley Temple, at which point he said "oh, yes, we have that." That lack of basic knowledge was frustrating. When the food arrived, one of the servers handed me other people's meals and insisted I pass down about five plates instead of simply walking around the table herself, which felt careless and unnecessary. After finishing our meal, no one brought the check for an extended period, so I had to ask for it. When it finally came, the bill was wrong and had to be corrected. I get that this is a college town and new staff may still be learning, but the lack of training showed at every step. It left a very poor impression and reflected badly on the restaurant overall. Chili's really needs to invest more time in preparing their employees before putting them on the floor. The food, on the other hand, tasted pretty good. The chips were way too salty, but that was my only complaint on that, aside from their over use of MSG, which caused stomach issues for several in our group. If it wasn't MSG, then there was something else wrong with the food as three of us had reactions. read more

I was so impressed with this location. After a long day we just wanted to grab food to-go, but my food allergies made it difficult to place an online order, so I popped into the "to-go" door and placed the order directly. The person working the space (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was so kind, understanding, and helpful. Not only did she work with me to place a safe order, I overheard her reiterate to the kitchen staff the allergy info, and they too were thorough and careful in the making of my food. Dealing with food allergies can often feel equivalent to being a burden, but I did not feel that way at all here. I so appreciated being able to get safe food that was both delicious and quick. Probably the worst chilis I've been at! The drink tasted like dish soap. I'm sure it was because they were cleaning very fast as the restaurant was busy. The wings were dry and an edible and my best friend ordered the ultimate pasta without green onions and Parmesan and she received pasta lightly tossed in sauce with a cut up tomato that you would find on a hamburger over it with chicken no shrimp or anything. It was bad. To make things worse, Michelle saw me filling out the survey and came to distract me leading to me not finishing and then once it had timed out, she said I could not go back. She gave the best service I have ever had at chilis and I go here at least 2 times a week for the past year. The food tasted absolutly amazing I ordered the quesadilla explosion, salad, and the mushroom Swiss Burger and fajitas. It was absolutely amazing! The restraint was very well cleaned and well kept when visiting and I would highly recommended the server abby!! She's also an OSU student and she's a freshman so she's gonna be around for a while!! Came in on a Thursday night, and had terrible service. Did not receive silverware at all, we had to get up and get it ourselves as well as napkins. No refills on water or chips once, and got charged for extra beers. A table next to us had been there longer than we were and didn't receive their food until 20 minutes after we did despite having a smaller party, and the manager had to get involved because their food never came out. This Chili's.. not great. Service was slow- we only got one refill throughout the night, and had gotten our utensils way after we got our food. We started off with chips and salsa, and it was a mess- half of the chips were soggy, and the other half were stale. Salsa was extremely salty (somehow) and we could barely make our way through it. My burger (depicted below) was super greasy and the patty itself was burnt and way too salty. The fries were like the chips and salsa- some were soggy, some were stale, and over salted. My family and I went here yesterday after a hiatus of several months. The service and food had been slowly declining, but we thought "hey! Let's give it another try. " we should have stayed away. Our waiter was mostly MIA. He did take out drink order, but didn't deliver it. He did take our food order, but didn't deliver it. Our first refill of drinks came from the manager, which was no big deal, we had not gotten our food yet. Then the trouble began. The food came and everything looked fine. But after a few bites, my good was burnt and my daughters chicken was RAW. We finally flashed him down after 10 minutes, and he said oh I'm sorry. He saw all of our drinks were empty, and when he came back he had no refills and said I took that off your ticket. Walked away never to be seen again. We still did not have a ticket, or drinks, so we had to ask to see a manager. Who in all honesty still did not seem that concerned about serving his customers raw chicken. I guess he had not learned about salmonella. After finally expressing our deep "frustration" and concern over everyone's lack of interest in the situation he finally gave my daughter a free dessert and gave us a discount for the entire meal, and our drink refills. I am definitely done with Chili's in Stillwater. Before you eat their chicken, I would suggest you cut it open and double check so you don't get sick. read more

No text was received except the initial one saying you will be notified ... Our waitress was very nice but she seemed a little nervous. If we asked she was prompt. We later found out it was her first day and she did great. It took forever to get a margarita from the. At and it was terrible. The restaurant was pretty busy. The appetizers took forever. Ordered soup / salad and entrees. Entrees came out before the soup / salad. The soup was not as ordered when it arrived. Soup, when it came the second time, was very good. But the choice was to eat the entree and let the soup get cold, or eat the soup and let the entree get cold. The entrees were not good, just ok. No refill on drinks. Stillwater has lots of restaurants that provide great food and service every time. I'd rather not waste my time and money on a restaurant that doesn't seem to prioritize either. When it came time to pay for the bill, I rated my experience poorly, to which the waitress came back to our table 5 minutes after submitting it and very passive agressivly was like "I'm so sorry you didn't like your service. that affects my scheduling now and whether I get to work or not, but i apologize" and was very rude. Normally we really enjoy our experience but Savannah our waitress was making condescending remarks and she seemed EXTREMELY conceited. Not sure why this place has a two star review. I think this place is pretty great! Online ordering is really simple and is pretty quick. Sometimes when you get your food to go, it's not as good as when you dine in. For example, the Texas cheese fries are hot and fresh when you dine in--fries are crisp, cheese is gooey and melted just right. Seasoning is on point! But when you order it to go, it's soggy and the cheese is solidified. You can definitely tell it's the first thing they make and box up. The main course dishes are good! Nice and hot, fresh tasting, and they reheat well at home. The service I've received while dining in has always been great! Friendly waiters that give quick service. Last time for a once loved place. Have always enjoyed their chips and salsa. Started off with an order. The chips came out literally coated with grease. It was pooling on the chips. We asked for different ones. They brought it back out saying they were fresh. We sent it back. Came out again with manager assuring they were good and they had no more...but the manager didn't come out themselves. Strike 1. While waiting for our meal a roach came crawling out on the table. Strike 2. I know roaches are common in restaurants but there were other cleaning issues at the table. Meal arrived. No chicken on my salad that came with chicken. No tortillas that are supposed to come on the salad. No dressing even on the side. Flagged down waitress and point out my salad was missing a few things. She went back to kitchen. Came out said they would remake it. No manager made a stop by the table. Strike 3. Apparently, management is not doing any quality control and doesn't seem to care. We will visit a Chili's again...but not the one in Stillwater. I should say I have worked in food service. I know the standards when I worked. They seem to have fallen substantial.
