Great food, large servings and friendly! Even cabbage was well seasoned and hot! Good fresh meal with good pricing.

Loved the home style vibe and easy ordering - 1 meat and sides, 2 meats and sides or all you can eat. Good homestyle choices. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. Real mashed potatoes!!! My only complaint was the table we sat at. The legs were funky and it was difficult to get comfortable.

Meatloaf, smothered pork chop, bbq pork butt, brisket, chicken n dumplings, my plate was empty when I left.

Never been disappointed at Roscoe's ! One of the best meatloafs I've had anywhere. Owners very friendly, I've never not seen him or talked to him when visiting. Only place I've ever seen serving black eyed peas outside I got the all you can eat tonight, I normally just get the 2 entree 3 sides but I wanted to get meatloaf and try his pork chops/ chicken n dumplings. Long , face stuffing, story short. My plate was empty when I left! Check their Facebook to see what entrees/desserts they've got that day.

    Roscoe's is amazing!

Best meal I've had in ages. Home cooking that reminded me of family meals from long ago. So many good choices and amazing desserts. Impossible to go away hungry. Friendly people. Comfortable setting. Roscoe and his place are a treasure for Stillwater.

Food was really pretty good. Service was excellent. Ordered, ate, paid, on a Friday night, on a game day weekend, in and out in 25 minutes.

The food portions were good, but the food lacked flavor. I was disappointed with the meatloaf. The desserts were very good.

Not good. The smothered pork chop was somehow dry. The cornbread taste like a cupcake for some reason. The gravy wasn't good either

Great, truly fantastic service. We liked the ham and sweet potatoes. I didn't love the pork chop, green beans, or mashed potatoes.

Located on the SE corner 7th and Main St. in downtown Stillwater, in a nicely remodeled brick building. Inside, the restaurant is smartly decorated in a modern décor mixed with a connection to the past. Between the tee shirts that are for sale, historical pictures and a few artifacts representing rural farm life hang on the walls. In a few areas of the walls, the original brick work is exposed, but masked with a coat of paint. The building's true age shows through the makeup. The chaotic conglomeration of bricks testify that masonry skills and craftsmanship were not required of the builder, when the original structure was erected. Building codes likely not in vogue either. A work of historical beauty. On street parking. And directly behind the restaurant, on the east side, is a parking lot. On a busy weekend parking could be a challenge. Somewhat of a tourist attraction. Souvenirs for the out of towners are prominently on display for purchase. A bar is available to help celebrate yesterday's team victory or numb the pain of defeat. Patio seating is available. Breakfast was perfect. My usual. The picture describes the food. The friendly attentive wait staff keeps your coffee cup full. What else can I say it's, "Granny's" Kitchen.

I told the server it was my first time, and she recommended a great meal and gave me a cinnamon roll. Warm and sticky. The meals are large; they said they make them large because it's a college town, and they want to give the kids leftovers. The restaurant is in the downtown area, with plenty of parking. Although the restaurant seems to be a chain, the staff and the food were excellent, so give it a shot. I would absolutely come back.

If you grew up in Oklahoma, then you likely know about the famous Eskimo Joe's. My family went here…read morefor dinner on New Years Eve - we thought we'd encounter a huge wait like we have in the past, but surprisingly they were able to sit us right away. I do recommend checking the waitlist they have on their website if you plan to dine here - it just gives you a good idea of how long the wait will be and you can also add your party to the waitlist before you arrive so you aren't just standing around waiting for 30 minutes to an hour, this location gets pretty packed some nights. The restaurant itself is pretty big, it's been the same for as long as I can remember and I like that about it. It isn't super trendy or chic, it's got the wooden floors and pool tables and it just reminds me of Oklahoma if that makes sense at all. Our server was super nice, he was on top of everything and had a great attitude. I ordered the frito chili pie - mostly for the fact that I live in Florida now and I don't know of anywhere else that I can order that, it's a nostalgic thing for me for sure. I also had a side cesar salad - no complaints there either. The food has always been good for every time I've visited here. You have to check out the gift shop as well while you're here - you can't go to Eskimo Joe's and not bring home a cup, or shirt, or sweater, or koosie showing the world that you've been there lol The gift shop really is one of our favorite parts about eating here. Our kitchen cabinet has stacks of these Eskimo Joe's cups (which is great for a house with kids) and every member of the family has an Eskimo Joe's shirt...we love it here and will definitely be back.
