I haven't been to Chili's since high school, and now I'm in my 40s. My daughter wanted to go, and it was on our way home from a road trip, so we decided to stop in. We were seated pretty quickly with no long wait at all, which is always a plus for me. The service was good, and the food was what I expected from a chain restaurant like this....decent overall. I do have three complaints though. First, the mac and cheese was horrible, but I kind of expected that. I took the waitress's recommendation and gave it a chance instead of replacing it. It tasted like mac soup. Second, the sliders had way too many small raw onions. If I had known, I would've asked for them to be removed. Lastly, we ordered two mozzarella cheese appetizers, and one was cheesy and stretched like it should, while the other one didn't at all. Other than that, everything else was good. The ribs were tender, the fries were good, and I had a bite of my daughter's burger...it was juicy. Even though I'm not usually a fan of chicken tenders, I have to admit those honey glaze chicken tenders were pretty tasty. I also liked the jalapeño sausage. I have been coming to this Chili's since it replaced the old Denny's and even before that when it was a Shoney's, and I have consistently had good experiences here. In a time when eating out feels more expensive than ever, Chili's has quietly become one of the most value driven sit down chain restaurants around. Their 3 for $10 menu is the real star. My wife and I stopped in for an impromptu Friday night dinner and were seated immediately. We spotted the 3 for $10 deal right away, saw the new QP burger listed, and knew that was the move. The deal includes a starter of chips and salsa or soup or salad, a non alcoholic drink, and a main from several pricing tiers starting at $10. It is honestly one of the better chain restaurant deals out there right now. The QP burger is Chili's clear shot at fast food. QP stands for quarter pounder and it is dressed just like a classic fast food burger with diced onions, ketchup, mustard, and pickles, plus fries on the side. We went with the soups that day, tortilla and potato, since we already had a free chips and salsa voucher from signing up for Chili's rewards. We also ordered the viral triple dipper appetizer, which lets you pick three apps for about $17. We chose the Nashville Hot mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and Southwest eggrolls. Everything was good, but the mozzarella sticks were the clear winner. The cheese pull absolutely lived up to the social media hype. All the apps came out at the same time, which made it perfect for sharing. The burger came out shortly after and it was exactly what I was hoping for at that price. Cooked perfectly medium rare, good sear, solid flavor, and very filling with the fries. For $10, it was absolutely worth it. Our total bill for two people came out to $48 after tip, and we still had leftovers to take home. Overall, this Chili's location continues to deliver, and as long as they keep up the budget friendly pricing, I will definitely be back. read more

For a chain, this Chili's really isn't bad at all. First of all, it's been here FOREVER. I grew up around here and remember coming here as a kid. After a long weekend of moving and errands, my partner and I came here for dinner after I jokingly suggested it. Jokes aside though, we were pleasantly surprised. Our server, Mica (if I'm remembering correctly?), was attentive and friendly. She kept the bottomless chips and salsa full and answered my questions about gluten free options. I really appreciated her going the extra mile to ask the kitchen about GF items. I opted for the baby back ribs, full portion, which comes with a side of fries and mac and cheese - the double carb combo sides is crazy to me because the portion is generous. I got the asparagus instead of the mac and cheese to make it GF. I also got the classic margarita which was good but a little too sweet for me. My boyfriend got the triple dipper and seemed to enjoy it along with his margarita too. Our check was less than $60 making this a really great meal for anyone looking for a fun night of food and drinks while staying on a budget. I also had a ton of leftovers which was nice. The mozzarella sticks are always a hit and the buffalo boneless bites and sliders were also good! You can't beat this for 17 bucks. The service was nice, and the restaurant was really clean from what I noticed. The floor was even spotless, which shows that they are constantly making sure it is clean as the restaurant had a decent amount of people. Dinner with my son and aunt here today was pretty cool. When we entered we were greeted and seated quickly. It was around 5pm and it was not busy at all. I joined the restaurant reward program and earned a free chips and dip. Pretty cool. We ordered an appetizer trio which included fried cheese sticks, chicken stripe and southwestern egg rolls. We ate it so fast I forgot to let my camera eat first (if you're not a yelper then you wouldn't understand. Lol). We ordered drinks 2 of the $6 special straw-eddy margaritas, 2 of the Hennessy margaritas and 1 artic drift margaritas. The drinks did not disappoint. The chips and dip were nice and fresh. Onto the meal my son had the rib meal with double fries, chicken stripe and quesidilla, my aunt had the rib meal with chicken stripe fries and Mac and cheese. I had a great experience with this chilis granted I did do takeout. Manager was very attentive and kind, while also being communicative. Ambiance was nothing to write home about as I was doing takeout. I got a triple dipper with the honey chipotle crispers, Nashville hot mozz, and big mouth bites. Food was pretty standard, with everything being good although a bit lacking in some areas. The big mouth bites were a little dry but flavorful, the mozz had a stretch and were tasty but a bit too salty, and the crispers just needed a bit more crunch. I was informed the bar was self seating and I decided to sit at the bar. There is happy hour all day....I repeat ALL day sat and Sunday. And Monday to Friday 3-6pm. The all day sat and Sunday is what really drew me in!! My bartender Patrick was phenomenal. He suggested menu items and was highly attentive to every customer that was seated in his section. He truly exemplified top tier customer service!!! If he works Sundays I will see him again. My drinks were great. My boneless wings 5/10 but they were cold. I was super hungry so I ate them without much complaint. The fajitas were a great selection. They came out quickly and piping hot!! This particular location is truly slept on! Been here twice recently for lunch, with a group of about 12 adults. This time around my chicken sandwich was better than the overcooked burger I had the previous time. However, everyone who got salad with ranch dressing agreed that the dressing appears to have been diluted with water. Worst of all, it took me more than 20 minutes to pay my portion of the check, which we had requested to be split individually. That had also happened the last time we were there. The servers have been pleasant & apologetic both times this has happened. Hi I was at Chili's on Padonia Road in Timonium Wednesday, May 20 around 6 p.m. to about 7:30 p.m. I have gone to this Chili's a lot because they have two of the best servers (Mario and Douglas). We were a party of 5 and asked for Mario or Douglas. Unfortunately, Mario was at the bar and Douglas had the tables around the bar. None sat 5. We got sat with Summer. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best experience, but that's not what I want to complain about it. I called the manager over since we had been waiting for the server to come back so we could get refills on drinks and boxes. I guess one of the servers named Sophia overheard me complain. She started bussing our table very rudely. After she walked behind me and said, " B*tch." I didn't think much of it until she walked by again saying they need to f#%!ing leave. I had a three-year-old at the table hearing this server in a Chili's uniform saying " b*tch" and " f#%!." Completely uncalled for. We continued to talk since I don't see my friend very often, and there were opening tables. Sophia continued to stare me and my table down. It was a horrible situation. I felt threatened. I felt uneasy and not safe. She moved to the door and continued to stare at us. I felt like we had to leave because of how uncomfortable she was making us. I went to say goodbye to Mario, and my table stood by the door. Sophia continued to say that bitch needs to leave, I fell sorry for Mario dealing with that bitch, etc., in earshot of the three-year-old and my daughter (who told me in the car she continued to say stuff). I am really hoping you have cameras and you look at them and see her staring at us and how aggressive she was bussing our table. I honestly will not be back again unless I know she's gone. I don't feel comfortable being in a restaurant where I was told to F'ing leave and called a "b*tch". A guest should never feel the way my table did. What's worse is I can't support two of your servers (and I tip them very good) because I am not going to put myself in a situation again. I said, " I didn't think I was mean or rude except right now I was "yelling" because I was so frustrated with how I was treated." The labor shortage has hit this Chili's location. I tried to order online last night and was cut off. Tried to order via phone and the place was closed at 5:30 pm. Tried ordering online tonight and couldn't. So I ordered by phone at around 3:45 for a 5:00 pick up. Ordered an appetizer and four dinners. I arrive at my appointed time and the order wasn't ready as the order slip said pick up at 5:45. The crew scrambled and had everything ready in a little more than 10 minutes. The service here is the absolute best! My father and I meet once a week on Thursdays and we almost always eat here, the waiters are wonderful, two of which know us by name our regular orders. Santi is a great guy who loves to chat about mutual interests! Even though I probably shouldn't distract him at work, oops. We have an area we always sit in and he knows exactly where to seat us. Oliver was our other favorite, he's such a good waiter. He remembers our drinks and food without writing and always gets it right.
