    Date night with my honey.

Three of us converged on EWF on what I thought would be a busy night. Not so, at least inside the house because of summer vacations. Outside was another story. Beautiful weather made Al fresco dining an impulse for many. Our party chose to dine indoors. The party was my son's girl (he was our server), my daughter and yours truly. The menu is consistent. The food is too. Between us we ordered wings, sweet potato fries, a side Caesar salad, a white pizza with broccoli, their famous corn crab chowdah and their barbecue chicken pizza. The chowdah and salad was expedited quickly as were our main events. The food was excellent. Pricing is what it is. A little higher than other spots but other spots don't offer the quality food EWF provides. It's worth a little extra to get food of far better quality. Can't wait til my/our next visit.

First, let me start with how I got here. I had heard good things about Earth, Wood & Fire (this location) and had been wanting to try it. When I received a Restaurant.com gift certificate for $25 I looked online for places to redeem. This restaurant (this specific location) was on the list. I printed out the certificate and brought it with me. When I presented it to my server, I was met with a puzzled face and a smug reaction. "I've never seen this before. I don't know what it is and I can already tell you we don't take it." She then went to show her manager who returned to the table and handed it back to me. He said that this location is separate from the Fallston location, they are often listed together in advertisements yet have "nothing to do with each other," and he had never seen one of these Restaurant.com certificates and would not honor it. I explained that this restaurant is listed on the Restaurant.com website. He countered that this location is not, and I must have seen the Fallston address. I responded that this location's address is on the website and I only came to this location because it was specifically listed. He then said that people get confused since sometimes they see them listed together in magazines. I said there was no confusion and I started to pull it up on my phone, only to be met with, "We can't accept it." Okay, then. It was at this point that I decided not to return here, even though my mushroom pizza was quite tasty and my friends enjoyed their burgers. Lots of other restaurants around to try for the first time and feel welcomed.

This experience wasn't horrible, but I don't think I will ever have to come back unless I'm in the mood to splurge on wings. GLOWS: -The restaurant is a decent size, with plenty of seating for small and large parties- on nice days it appears they accommodate outdoor seating -The coal fire wings are pretty tasty GROWS: - Some of the drinks are syrupy and thick. They don't have much craftsmanship at the bar - I felt slighted with the service. Other tables were offered daily specials and pleasantries. It was very basic service at our table - The wings are entirely too expensive. $15 for 6 wings is not worth it. - The turkey burger is very thin and the bread is very thick. I prefer frozen quarter lb burgers to what they serve. - The fish tacos come two to an order, lack presentation, and cost mkt price for the small portion served. -- they also have cole slaw on them which ruins it if you don't like cole slaw.

Fish tacos I talk about in my other comment

Generally, I really like this restaurant which is why I was so disappointed when I ordered the fish tacos (to go) and this is what it looked like (see images below) I opened this box within 8 minutes of picking it up and it was 1) a mess b) the tortilla was completely soggy (I couldn't figure out how it could get so soggy in such a short amount of time!). I've never seen a fish taco like this, which I don't mind - almost every time I get fish tacos they're all unique & different , but I've never had one with Salmon as the fish. I love salmon but in a fish taco? At least now I know, it doesn't work (for me, at least). Aside from this dish, I love everything else I've tried here (only been 2 things, but they were very good). Ambience & service is great, too **Update: I called& told them I wasn't loving the fish tacos and I was able to swap it with one of their pizzas (seriously- really, really good) & I was a happy gal. They understood my complaint, said they'd have no prob giving me a refund & I said can I just get something else to eat the same price? Was an easy swap (cost-wise, didn't actually need to bring the fish tacos back ), and they truly reinforced why I love this restaurant so much.

My husband and I have been on a grilled pizza kick. Maybe it's summer? Or maybe it's a fact that we hate pulling out our grill, but we've been craving a lot of grilled pizza. I was excited to finally try this spot as I've heard about it for a while now. It's in an area I don't get to visit very often so it was nice being able to check it out. The restaurant itself is okay. Nothing extraordinary. We were seated promptly and our server was very attentive. We started with the buffalo wing special and they were extremely juicy, large, a perfect starter. You get six pieces for $16, feels a little pricey but the wings were really good and plump. Next, we ordered a rustic pizza which is a pepperoni pizza with ricotta and added it some toppings to it. I have really been enjoying ricotta on my pizza. First bite into the pizza. I was a little confused because I did not taste any ricotta. I asked her server and she said that she put the order in wrong and omitted the pepperoni and ricotta. This was a big disappointment. We ate a slice each and took the rest home. Without the ricotta to break up the salty toppings, we chose olives and bacon the pizza kind of just had one note. The server was extremely nice and offered to get us a new one, but since we had already started we felt a little weird and we were pressed for time. For a Friday night this place was buzzing, we'll have to give it another try to see if it can live up to our grilled pizza fantasies!

Very good restaurant with nice outdoor seating. Our service was excellent from the time we sat down and until the time we left. Our server took our drink orders as well as our food order at the same time. When she brought the specials, that changed what I was going to have. I ordered a bowl of the chicken tortilla soup and it was excellent. I'm glad it didn't have a dollop of sour cream on the top, as that just makes it too rich and heavy. Then the California Burger which was pepper, jack cheese and avocado. It came with a Chipotle ranch sauce which I had them leave off. I got the sweet potato fries which was my side dish. When the burger came out it was huge and it had a half of avocado on the side of the bun with the lettuce, tomato and pickles. It was difficult but I managed to slice the avocado up to fit on my burger. Though I ordered medium and the Burger came out more of a medium rare it was okay. But it was tasty and very filling and I ended up taking home the sweet potato fries as well as a slice of the flourless chocolate cake. My guest was gluten free and the flourless chocolate cake was the only thing she could eat from the dessert menu. I enjoyed the food, the ambiance, and our service. Service. I would highly recommend a visit here and a burger if you are in the mood. The pizza also looked good but I was in the mood for a burger today. I also looked at the Maryland crab soup but since the chicken tortilla soup was special, that's what I opted for.

    Traditional 10" pizza w mushrooms

Yum!!! I'm basing this review strictly on the food taste and quality. This was my first visit, and the service side was having an off night. Not sure what the issue was, but tables were waiting for long periods for food. We received our appetizer well after we finished our pizza, and I waited a while for a drink refill (the only one I was able to get). Now on to the food stuff! Our pizza was really good, we ordered a traditional w mushrooms. It had a thin crisp crust which was great, but the mushrooms could have been more evenly distributed. It was saucy enough for us (we love extra sauce) and it had great flavor. Their jalapeno app may be my favorite of this genre. The goat cheese was creamy and plentiful, and the dish was actually spicy! I savored every bite. Our server recommended the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and we added ice cream. The cake was super rich, glad we got the sweet and creamy vanilla scoop to balance it out. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan to return to check out those yummy looking wings and burgers. Hopefully the service will run a little more smoothly next time around.

This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

We've been here for casual date nights, Valentine's dinner, and the last time we came was for our friends renewing their vows after 10 years of marriage. That alone says a lot about the kind of place it is. It fits both everyday moments and really meaningful ones. What stands out first is the atmosphere. There's a warmth to the space that makes it feel inviting right away. It has a rustic, polished look with a lot of character, but it never feels stiff or overly formal. It's the kind of place where you can tell thought was put into every detail, but it still feels comfortable enough to settle in and enjoy yourself. For me, the experience starts before the food even hits the table. The space has a calm, intentional energy to it. It's perfect for slowing things down and actually enjoying your time, especially with someone you care about. The food is where it really separates itself. Everything feels carefully prepared and well thought out. You can tell they care about ingredients, and that always comes through in the flavor. Nothing feels thrown together or generic. The menu itself gets you excited before you even order, and the food lives up to it. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't just feel like a place serving food, it feels like a place creating an experience. The dishes have personality. There's intention behind them. It's not about being flashy, it's about doing things right. The service adds to that as well. Every time we've gone, the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. It makes the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. Another thing I like is that it feels distinctly Baltimore without feeling ordinary. It has a real identity to it, and that makes it memorable. My wife and I keep coming back because it feels like time well spent. Good food, great atmosphere, and the kind of place that actually stays with you after you leave. Overall, this is easily one of the more memorable dining experiences in Baltimore. Definitely worth it if you're looking for something that feels meaningful, not just another night out.

For the entree upon arrival, each guest had a choice of entrees( grilled mahi mahi, seafood imperial( shrimp, crab and rockfish in a seashell, herb encrusted chicken and a pasta agnolotti). Each entree was served with brocolini spears, roasted rainbow baby carrots and a rice pilaf. We had a open bar, so our servers came around with two kinds of mimosas, champagne and tequila sunrises. As well as plenty of soft drinks and juices for the children. I was really blown away at how attentive the staff was to our guests, everything ran like a well oiled machine. I would highly recommend Citron for your catering or private event space needs. I will definitely be returning for happy hour when the weather gets a little warmer SYOY

Great restaurant, location, ambiance, service and food…read more Parking was a bit challenging but it was Friday afternoon so probably to be expected. They are doing renovations to enlarge the patio seating. Expected noise and a little construction dust. It was a beautiful day so sitting outside was the thought only to realize it was a bit chilly if you didn't get a seat in the sun. Outside seating was pet friendly. We opted to sit inside cause it chilly. People were friendly and accommodating. Khloe/JC were served us and both were great. Food- everything we ordered was delicious Appetizers: - Wings (2 orders because they were better than expected) Crab dip Main - Fish tacos - Seafood risotto Both are must try !!!! Dessert - Creme brulee delicious Overall everything was great! Location 4/4 Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Price $$$ Will definitely return

I discovered that everyone has the same opinion and I should have gotten a reservation. The inside is very nice also, so no issues. I was greeted immediately and seated in a comfortable area. I was waited on immediately with water and flatware. My drink from the bar was very good and my server was excellent ("Addie"). I ordered the lobster roll and I have to say that I was disappointed, there was very little flavor. It was simply lobster meat and mayonnaise on a bun. I've had a Lobster roll at other places and much more flavor. I noticed that the hostess's have no dress code and looked as if they wore their yard clothes to work. Short cut off blue jean shorts. Bellies showing and low-cut blouses. Not very professional in my opinion, especially for the impression they are trying to present to they're customers. I like the ambiance, but probably won't return.

I found this gym via social media and it is a main stay my lunch rotation. The wait time has gotten tighter so I typically don't weigh more than 5 to 7 minutes for my food quick and easy. Now this is a carryout spot so don't expect inside dining but do expect good food warm service that is consistent.

The girl at the register INSTANTLY got an attitude. Her whole disposition shifted. She said, "It wouldn't be on there if you didn't order it," in a real sharp, nasty tone. The gentleman restated, "Ma'am I don't even like onions." She just said, "what black stuff is you talking about?" The man told her that if she opens the sandwich she'll see it. She looked at the sandwich and said, "that's the stuff from the grill when you fry the onions" and turned her back and walked away and told the guy at the grill with the bonnet on to handle him. The guy walks up to the counter, no hello or anything. He just immediately says, "you gon' have to pay." That interaction I witnessed was ugly. Definitely didn't want to make me come back. The NY pizza was EXTREMELY greasy. Make sure you get a ton of napkins if you order pizza. And my son complained that it was very undercooked. It was wasted. The fish sandwiches are $1.50 more than what the menu states. We drove from upper marlboro. Not worth it! They charge a 3.5% service charge and it's not posted or stated anywhere. Beware
