The decor on the inside really leans into the 1950s/1960s Americana vibe that's often associated with Lubbock without leaning into kitsch territory. The table we were at took about 5-10 minutes to clear up for us and once we were seated we felt right at home. Food came out hot and exactly as expected. The server also recommended that I HAD to try the local concoction adult beverage that apparently is a staple of this location. It was a nice treat and a quick way to feel at home. Our bill was also not exorbitantly high, which is also something else to note about this place. You'll get your dollar to go far while here. Parking is convenient right off the highway and in a large shared parking lot.
