After getting off a nearly 12-hour flight and dealing with some nagging back and neck pain that had been messing with my sleep, I finally decided to treat myself to a massage. I usually don't splurge like that, but I'm so glad I did. I was just looking for something close by and reasonably priced when I came across this little massage spot right here in the neighborhood. I didn't really know what to expect, but as soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with a warm smile and charming and clean space. She asked all the right questions where the pain was, how long it had been bothering me, what I needed and I immediately felt comfortable. I chose the 1 hour and 15 minute deep tissue massage for just $80, which felt like a steal. And let me tell you, Carlee was amazing. Super knowledgeable, incredibly strong for such a petite woman, and totally focused on relieving my pain. She even used a bit of CBD cream, no pressure, just a thoughtful suggestion. She went a little over the time, but didn't charge extra for either, she just wanted to help. If you're looking for real relief, a kind and skilled massage therapist, and want to support a hardworking local business, this is the spot. It's now going to be my go to if I need some healing hands. And honestly, it should be yours too. Perfect little gem right here in Pacific Beach.

Very courteous, one of the best massages I've ever had! Reasonable prices. I was visiting locally and they fit me right in.

From the start, I was greeted by a young woman at the front desk, Johnny, who was incredibly pleasant, polite, and welcoming. She checked me in smoothly, explained the available add-ons clearly, and made the whole process feel effortless and comfortable. I opted to add the CBD oil to my session, highly recommend! I then met Pete, my masseuse, for a 90 min deep tissue massage. The room was quiet, peaceful, and soothing, with just the right ambiance to unwind. The massage itself was amazing! I was so relaxed I could barely stay awake! Pete's technique was spot on, working out all the knots without being overly aggressive. I checked the clock before and after out of curiosity (I've been shorted 10-15 minutes at other places for undressing/dressing time), and I was surprised to see I got the full 90 minutes! No skimping here! When it ended, Pete offered me water, and the receptionist followed up right away to ask how it went. I told her I was very satisfied and plan to return soon. The business is very clean, the staff is professional from start to finish, and the massage quality is top-notch. If you're looking for a genuine, no-rush experience with skilled therapists and friendly front of house service, this place is highly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

I was genuinely sorry I didn't have time to schedule another visit.

For the price and going in for a problem area, fantastic!…read more To preface, I'm someone that's very low maintenance/simple. If you are more high maintenance and want all the extras and more expensive spa features this may not be the place for you, but giving that as a warning now so someone with that type of lifestyle doesn't go in thinking it's something it's not. I really feel like I have to leave a review because some of the negative reviews almost discouraged me from going here, but I am SO glad I did. About 2 weeks ago I strained a muscle in my left upper back and another just deep to my L shoulder blade. I have background in PT and work in healthcare so I tried to resolve it myself with no avail. In the field I work in, I am axial loading A LOT, carrying heavy bags, gear, and equipment. This week I told myself I NEEDED to get a massage. I've gotten several over the years as someone with Thoracic (70deg) and lumbar (50deg) severe scoliosis. I got a 90min full body massage today for $90. I had Lucy and she was GREAT! I showed her the areas I was having tightness and she worked that out and more in the first 30 minutes. I was skeptical at first because the first 30 mins of the massage were dry with no lotion, but I think that was intentional to work out the knots that I had throughout my back. For the next 30 mins, she used lotion and primarily continued on my whole back, neck, and upper glute area. Last 30 minutes she covered my limbs front/back and chest area. I am a 5'2, 160 lbs, solid, athletic build female. My masseuse was probably no more than 120lbs but you wouldn't have known it. She used leverage to really get into the areas I had problems with and I left as a satisfied customer feeling much looser in my upper back. Definitely will be back and recommend! Things to consider: *For the price, you're not getting a fancy place. For some the sheet may be too small/not enough coverage. If that's something that is a concern for you I would recommend bringing a sheet of your own along for extra draping and/or asking for an additional sheet. It didn't bother me, but I saw that was a complaint below. *Walls and doors are thin. If you're going there for a muted experience where you only hear the music in the background, not a place for you. (I'm super easy and low maintenance so that wasn't bothersome for me, but I could see how that might bother someone else.) *They do not do an intake/waiver form like other fancier places do. If that's something that will bother you, I think that's a good thing to inform as well. They have an eastern medicine approach (not bothersome to me but maybe to others)

It is not a Burke's, woodhouse Day Spa or a hotel Spa. I've been there and prefer this place if you want a very good deep tissue massage. The room is not fancy, but it is clean and all the rooms have doors. I had Tina today and she did such a good job. I regularly get massages once a month. I am sad I don't live close by. She knew that my shoulders were knotted and spent a lot of time getting all the knots out. She knows her anatomy and often checked in to see if I was doing okay. She offered some herbal Chinese medicine, I think it is similar to biofreeze. I took the chance and glad I tried it. I feel like a new person.
