Affordable prices. I came in planning to get the 45 min foot massage but the owner said that the 60 min full body massage is only $2 more, so why not! Apparently you can make appointment! I didnt know that. But I walked in and I was able to get the massage within 5 min. For the full body, you're ushered into a room with 2 beds and pretty quick, they got you a tub of hot water to soak your feet in. They would use half the time to massage your legs/feet, another half hour to massage the rest of the body and the whole time, you're fully clothed. Went here today and had a terrible massage. One mistake I can already see is that the massage therapist didn't ask for any intake or if I had any allergies, medical conditions, what is the preference for pressure etc. I choose chair and feet massage then add 1 hour massage on the massage table (no deep tissue I just pointed on the menu the regular massage) When he started to massage me on the chair I immediately told him the pressure is too much. The masseuse wouldn't listen to me. He was very rough and jerky. I did not ask for deep tissue on the menu and I was getting heavy pressure with his fingers digging in my skin hard I couldn't relax at all even on the massage table I was in pain the whole time. At the end of the massage he asked if I wanted hot stones and I said no. He then proceeded to use hot stones anyways. I then told him it was too hot and he said don't worry it will cool down. I also ended up getting a bruise on my arm. This is what it looks like right after the session. Most of the movements were basic compression, lots of forearms (Lomi Lomi), kneading, and acupressure points. There wasn't any Swedish style massage technique far as I can tell and we had language barrier. Maybe I was just unlucky with the massage therapist but I'm not coming back. I am currently reading other reviews and I certainly did not receive the same treatment as others have. My foot never got soaked. I specifically asked for 30min chair and 30min feet massage combo then 1 hour massage on the table after. Never at any point asked for hot stones or deep tissue. read more

This is my go-to massage spa now for the last few years! I've been as often as once a month for a 1 hour full body massage. The lady at the front desk is ALWAYS so friendly and accommodating. I usually ask for a lady masseuse and she will make arrangements to make that happen and I appreciate it. I've had different masseuses there and they all understand the pressure I need and what parts of my body needs focus. It was $55 for the longest time but now it's up to $60 which still isn't bad. The customer service is great. I went in with a stiff neck and asked my masseuse to focus on my neck and shoulders since that's where I carry most of my tension. He was careful but thorough, and spent extra time working those areas. It was incredible! I felt 100x better after this massage. One thing that stood out from any other massage I've had: they have a heated blanket on the bed! So when you're lying on your back, your back is warm, and when you flip over face down, your stomach is warm! It was amazinggg! I come to Magical Massage Spa once a month with friends for a full-body massage, and it's always a great experience. For $55 for 60 minutes, it's an amazing value. Be sure to tip your masseuse well, they really do a fantastic job! The massage covers everything, back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, feet, head, and face. The masseuses always check if the pressure is right, and you can ask them to adjust it. One of my favorite parts is the hot stone massage, which feels incredible. The relaxing music in the background adds to the experience. You do have to remove your shirt, pants, and bra (for ladies), but you keep your underwear on. The only downside is that you can hear some noise from the lobby and other rooms, but you'll probably be too relaxed to care. They also give you a cup of water afterward, which is a nice touch. One thing to note, credit cards have an extra charge, so cash is preferred. Also, you can get a stamp card and redeem a free massage after 10 visits, which is such a great perk! I have been a fairly regular customer here at Magical Massage Spa for several years. They are not a fancy spa massage place, but they offer exactly what I am looking for, the more traditional Chinese style massage. I like their foot massages, which includes ~30 mins of foot massages and 20-25 mins of shoulder/back, face/head, hand/arms, and legs massages. For their foot massages, you don't need to change clothes. Some areas will be dry pressured massage or some areas using lotion to apply the pressure. Through the many years being a customer here, I have to say their quality of massage has been consistently excellent. This is very difficult to do as massage therapists may come and go, but the quality of massage is always very good regardless of which massage therapists are available. The place is clean, the front desk is courteous, and the best part is a very reasonable price for the quality massage. We always tip the massage therapists extra before the price is so low. After visiting them for years, now the secret is out! They are getting popular and the weekends are getting busy. You can call in advance to see when they are available. We now always call, so we don't need to wait for a spot. I am so happy that many people come to enjoy their massage! read more

We both went with the combo: 30 Mins Dry (body, no oil used) + 30 Mins Foot. The total price for the both of us was $102. We both left feeling soo relaxed. Lately, I have been feeling super tense and stiff around my neck and shoulders; but that evening, my neck and shoulders were relieved from muscle tension. As you enter Magical Massage, there is a comfortable looking and welcoming waiting area. There are Asian knick knacks used as decor throughout the waiting area. The price list is prominently hung on the wall and I thought the prices were reasonable. We were greeted by a friendly lady manning the check-in desk. When we checked in, the nice lady asked if it was okay if a dude massaged me. Since it was my birthday, I insisted on a lady and she was able to accommodate my request. As soon as you enter Magical Massage, the music puts you into a mood of relaxation. We opted for the $55 60-minute full body massage. I don't know how that price compares to other massage places, but I thought that price was reasonable for the massage I received. For our couples massage, the wifey and I were side by side on a comfortable table where you start off face down. My masseuse was named Cee Cee and she was firm and gentle at the same time as she massaged my entire body. I thought she did an amazing job making my body relaxed and eradicating kinks in my shoulders and back. Part of the massage included her placing hot rocks on my back and I thought that was a unique aspect of my massage. What was my favorite part of the entire massage were the lotions placed on my body specifically the nice aroma from the lotion placed on my face. Although I wasn't gifted the Padres tickets I thought my family and I would be attending, the couples massage I got instead was a great gift.
