I prefer less chlorine in pools. But the waves are fun and the hot tub is nice. My daughter loves it. That's all that matters!

There's a pumpkin patch, cute animals sections, swings, lavender patch and apple threes. So there are tons of other activities foreveryone, rope course, jumping pilow. Also, they have food hut, try their pumpkin pie so fresh and tasty. Huge free parking on site, and friendly staff, well organized All around a pleasant experience from start to the end.

What really struck me was the family atmosphere, a place that would be perfect for kids to hang out and play. There was play area, concession stand, picnic tables, pumpkin patches, and the star attraction: the corn maze. A hard or easy option, of which we decided to be adventurous and go for the hard option. Boyfriend and I completed the hard maze in 45 minutes, and that is with us getting turned around twice. There are periodic signs where the answers will guide you on which way to go... as long as you answer correctly. It had rained a day or two before, and signs were posted at the entrance warning us of poor, muddy conditions. Boy they weren't joking! I'm glad I wore my hiking shoes; they were absolutely caked by the time we were done. Amusingly enough, at the end of the maze there is a designated spot for you to scrape excess mud from your shoes. Even with the muddy conditions, this new adventure gave me more smiles than I thought I would get, wandering around a corn maze. It was fun! I admit, the only thing that could have made it better was if it wasn't so cold and windy (even when we made sure to bundle up), but of course that is out of their control.

We checked their Facebook page and there was no mention of this. They also don't update their swim schedule online. So I guess since the pool is now run by YMCA that it is only their 'bottom line' that counts. It is going to be inconvenient to go at another time. We're seniors and have our best energy in the mornings. In contrast, kids have energy all day long. They could have been put in at a later time or better yet, why not have created a free space time just for them instead of taking away the pool's availability to the regulars who go there at that time. I also find some of the staff to be patronizing. I don't have any complaints about the pool other than that.

We went on a weekend and there were almost no float toys in the pool. The water features (some pathetic ones) were not turned on. Not a fun pool for kids. So boring. The showers suck - had to press the button to turn on the shower at least 30 times from start to finish. Most of the locker keys don't have any wristbands and the ones that do look like used hair elastics. Ridiculous. Their computerized debit system was not working and one of the employees told us this is normal for them and it needs to be updated and hasn't been. Really, whoever runs this place has no pride and does not care about servicing their community! I will be making the trek across town to the Chilliwack Landing Leisure center instead, or better yet, one of the other leisure centers (Mission is by far the best!) who actually maintain their pool and keep things clean and in top shape!

The cabins were very close together and has ZERO privacy. We were in cabin 17 and cabin 16 was about 20 feet away from us. Also overlooked the parking lot. They seem to be more designed for large groups and families to all share space. There's only one electrical outlet so you recommend bringing a power bar. Not all the windows have curtains so we taped a black garbage bag to the top and door window to make it darker, it was very bright in the morning and woke kids up early. There's a small beach right by the cabins or a short walk to the larger beach with a dock/washrooms. The beaches are gravel so would recommend water shoes. The bathrooms were clean and showers nice. There was one communal fire pit. It was so high that you if were sitting down on a camp chair you couldn't actually see the fire over it. There's a large covered communal area with picnic tables and a dish washing station with hot water. Large grassy area for kids to run around which was nice and lots of shade.

One of the best things about this park is that most of the picnic tables are shaded by trees that provide important cover from the sun in the summer. This is camping so there would be bugs in the washroom and they won't always be neat and tidy. There is free warm showers, though when we were there last week one of the showers was broken so there was a bit of a line for the shower. Again, this is camping so shower is a slight luxury. The sites are not that big, then again you don't typically put 3 tents in one site. Most people book multiple sites. I recommend booking the sites by the creek and enjoy the clear cold water there. If you need power, it's an extra $5.00/night for the powered sites. The only issue I had is that the site is near a land quarry so it can get a little noisy at times. That's not really on the campsite though. Here's my Vlog of my recent visit. https://youtu.be/mXwXXM7pktI

Apparently had showers in the front area, but I didn't use them because we left in the morning early anyway. I was there with a bachelor party, so we were probably a lot louder than most guests. The camp staff fortunately was very good about making clear what quiet times are and didn't get pissed at us for being too loud or having a huge fire, they just would come buy and very diplomatically let us know to keep it down. Being cool about it is why I'm giving them 4 stars. See their website for more info on their services.

Bathrooms were very clean and we were pleasantly surprised at the availability to purchase ice and firewood. I am really surprised at these other recent negative reviews posted. A group of Asian friends (I am identifying this as it was singled out on their reviews) was camping right next to us and they were having a good time and they had no issues with the site managers or staff. I would recommend this campground personally. We had a great time. There are a lot more trailers then tent camping and it was nice as tent camper not to have the crowds and lines for bathrooms. Only issue is the bathrooms are for individuals with sink, toilet and shower so if someone takes a long time getting ready (or believe it or not doing their makeup) you have to wait to pee. Great place to camp. Right at the riverside. Not a lot of tree coverage so can get hot be prepared.

We arrived there a short time and drive after our early-morning breakfast in Mission, and like our last visit, did a self-guided tour of the grounds, taking in as many of the sights and sounds as possible. I was not expecting to see much activity - it was too early in the year to see any returning adult salmonids - but like our last visit, at about the same time of year, preparations were being made to accommodate this year's fry in the outdoor rearing troughs and ponds. Still did not see sturgeons in 'The Lagoon' (suspect they're long since gone?), but sure enjoyed catching all the 'early-spring' sights and sounds throughout the grounds at this time. It's such a lovely spot. And the drive in to the facility, winds through one of the most beautiful valleys in the Lower Fraser Valley area. This place is pretty awesome, it's open every day for visitors and during the right time of the year you get to see the salmon jumping up inch lake to get to spawning grounds. We didn't get to see the fish mating, but they showed us the fish in holding tanks and we were able to identify coho and chum salmon. The volunteer guide we had was really fun and though she admitted to not knowing much she tried to be as helpful as possible and made us enjoy our trip there even more. They even have a pond in the back that holds two giant white sturgeon fish (well, one was white the other was apparently sunburnt) over 8 ft long! The last thing to see there are the baby smelts that they're growing. They plan to release them in the Spring, but we could see a whole cluster of them at the hatchery, so that was neat as well. They had two large tanks at one end to show baby and adult cohos so you could compare the difference. And the washrooms here are super clean. Thanks Inch Creek for the fun Sunday! :D
