Fortunately it was making so much noise and I happened to be home that not too much damage was cause. However I was concerned about a fire hazard as the gas burner was still going as the water left in the tank and it was starting to boil off and was sending steam all over the place. I called Raymond for immediate help as I needed to figure how to shut everything off When I called, rather than helping I was told someone would come in 4 or 5 hours. Even when I explained I needed immediate help to shut everything down and turn off the valves Raymond could not help and told me to call someone else. Fortunately I was able to find another Plummer who walked me through shutdown and I was able to save my basement from flooding. Later I called back to see if Raymond would come out and look at their faulty work and repair. Raymond said they would not come out. We had someone else fix up their mistakes. In the end we came out okay but it could have be a disaster and it is clear thar Raymond has no interest in standing behind their work. We had used them for all or heating, cooling and plumbing for over 10 years but never again. Beware of these guys and use someone else! Here are photos of their poor work!

He swore up and down that it would be the greatest thing for our home ever. Well... it never worked properly, even with multiple visits to bleed the lines, and check the system. More recently they installed a brand new furnace and a/c system, which included all new ducting that they installed. One of the a/c vents on the ceiling in our main staircase has a watermark all the way around the outside. Since they did all the work, one would expect that they would come out and inspect it, right? Nope. After reaching out to them, Rich sent me a text, and I quote "We would have insulated around the register boots. You may want to have (insert another company name) take a look at them though". In my opinion, Hohler clearly doesn't stand by their work. I believe that they were upset because (the other company) was able to do part of job that they were initially going to do for us, for less than half the price. Keep in mind though that we'd already spent over 50k with Hohler. I would never recommend them to anyone. They themselves recommend calling the other company.

Before he did he performed another check on the system, found an elusive shorted out wire that was actually the cause, and saved us a ton of money because we no longer needed the replacement part. He also assisted us with installing the thermostat app on our phones, how to set it, then thoroughly checked other parts of the system to ensure the moisture pulled from the air was properly draining. New equipment works great and all their work was top notch and professionally done. HVAC is not rocket science but a correct install ( vacuum lines , purge and braze then charge ) is VERY important for a good running system with longevity. Cut corners or do a half arsed install and even the best equipment will fail. You are paying for something that you want to last for decades and it needs to be done right no matter who is doing it.

This was a little problematic: the sink drain developed an odor due to the fact that there wasn't enough if a trap to hold water in it to prevent odor from developing.
