This place needs a fresh review, so here it goes. Went here last night, Tuesday, with my wife. It was early about 5:30. We were the only ones in the dining room and people came and went for carryout. Food was very good and portions were good. I got Szechuan Shrimp and my wife got Mongolian Beef. We also had eggrolls as well. We liked all of it. They did not skimp on the shrimp like restaurants often do. The food arrived fairly quickly, and service was pretty good too. The dining rooms does look like an Italian restaurant, so that's kind of weird, but nothing to really complain about. I recommend this place. A solid Chinese choice. Go! read more

We buy meals to go on a regular basis. Prices are reasonable, the food is good and the owners are nice people. English is not their first language but we've never had a mixed up order. We will keep going there. read more

The thing is they don't speak English. Or broken English that is. I had to pull out a damn Chinese to English book. Like ain't no body got time for that. We live in America damnit. We came to go the old Italian place that used to be here. We saw a Chinese place had taken over and thought why not give it a try. China B1 has a new place here since September 2019. My first time here and I'd say pretty on-par with typical Chinese take out. The prices are so cheap and the portions are huge. Everything was made to order and piping hot. My chow mein was fresh and not gooey. House Lo mein was okay but a Little dark in color. No alcohol but the hot tea was nice on a cold Minnesota day. The best way to describe this place is to not judge a book by its cover. When we moved into town about two years ago I saw this little Chinese restaurant next to my grocery store and for some reason the name alone maybe not very interested in going there. We liked their dishes about 1.5 years ago but they changed their sauces such as the General Tso and it doesn't have taste. It is a jar sauce and after giving them feedback and nothing changed, we stopped going. Too bad because there not any good Chinese in Watertown, Delano or Buffalo. The worst food I've had in a long time. Order the sesame chicken. The fried rice was seamed with a couple veggies added to it. The chicken was rubber and soggy. I avoided this place for a long time because it seems super sketchy from the outside. But we finally caved and tried it and since have ordered takeout 3 times. Egg rolls are blah, and don't like their sweet and sour chicken. But I love their mei fun noodles, mongolian beef, and vegetable delight. Tastes fresh, perfect for your chinese food craving. I wish their egg rolls were better. Ordered all 3 times we got food and they haven't been good yet :/ Overall, though i'm impressed with their food because it just seems like a sketchy place (just from driving by), and the name is weird, but we've got some great dishes! I'll be the first to tell you that the outside of this place looks a little sketchy. I called order take out shortly after 9 o'clock when they close at 9:30 the gentleman who helped me over the phone was more than happy to make in order for us I was a little skeptical because it was so late thinking that maybe the food would be old. When I arrived to pick up our order the food is not done yet so that assured me that the food was fresh. The inside was nice freshly painted walls there was no TVs or anything to do while you wait for your food. But since I was ordering takeout I was not very concerned about that. The food was awesome. You can definitely tell that it was fresh and did not sit in a warming container for several hours before I picked it up. To my knowledge this is the only Asian style cuisine in the Watertown area. If you looking for a quick bite to eat that is not going to break your budgets definitely worth stopping by and giving this place a shot. read more

The food is HORRIBLE. When we opened the chicken chow mein, we thought the light colored strips where noodles and the little brown crumbles were the chicken. Turns out both things were chicken---rubbery, fatty unpleasant tasting chicken strips and crumbles. It was soooo unappetizing. I'm pretty sure they use ingredients from a can. Our wait time was only 10 minutes for 3 full sized entrees--I don't think it would be possible to make them in 10 minutes unless prepackaged ingredients were used. In the picture on the menu the General Tso's chicken was shown on a bed of broccoli. Ours had about 5 small stalks hidden underneath the rubbery chicken. We also asked to have our white rice substituted for fried rice. Their "fried rice" was just a container of orange colored rice--no vegetables or anything else added. The person working behind the counter was friendly, but the food was so incredibly bad it blows my mind. Ugh I get a little nauseous when I think of the food we ordered. read more
