DOT EAT HERE! Today I went to eat with a family member to eat and we saw roaches where the plates were stacked and some on the food trays. Two more customers saw the same thing and we all decided to bring the manager to tell him nicely we all saw roaches at the buffet area. He then got so pissed he demanded we pay and leave he then called the police when he ran us all out myself and two other families. He then chose to get in my mothers face who has back problems he got nose to nose with her and I tried to record the incident but the waitress a short Chinese woman grabbed my arms and smacked the phone out of my hand and shoved me then the manager spat on our direction! I then called the police and I'm filing assault charges on both owner and waitress and I'm definitely calling the city health inspector to come check this place out. read more

We tried it out one more time. Should not have gone. A number of the hot food was not hot and cold desserts were warm. When we went to ck out the cashier tried to charge me for a extra adult but I caught it before he finished. If I could give zero stars I would. The ceiling was leaking directly onto us at the table they sat us at with plenty of other open tables. Went with my kids and on the TV was a horror movies where the killer was saw a woman bare naked hanging upside down in half starting at her private area. FOOD POISONING Do no go here, this place has given myself and so many of my family/ friends FOOD POISONING! This place needs to be shut down! They have flies all over the buffet, the steak station is so unsanitary with raw open beef just left out to be eaten by flies on dirty counter tops or partially under the flat top/grill where they are being contaminated and not ONE time have I been there have I see any of the staff wash there hands. The food is completely over cooked, dried out , leftover from the last day, and over all not safe to consume... the restaurant has no air conditioner so they have a bunch of large fans placed all over , you can see mold growing on the carpets/ walls and ceiling tiles. The bathroom is horrendous you can smell it from the dining hall , the toilets look like they've never been cleaned and or one or all of them is ALWAYS broken/ out of use and you can see it over flowing on the bathroom floor with toilet paper all over. Don't eat here if you use the bathroom while dinning. On several occasions when at the buffet when a worker would come out of the double kitchen doors you can see a glimpse of the kitchen area which is just and horrendous as the bathrooms floor dirty, trash over flown, food is in black crates on the FLOOR!!! I wanted to go out of corpus to get some nice buffet food but that is not what happened here.. When entering it seemed pretty normal and not at all messy or nothing, I continued to get food with a glove that was given to me to grab food the tongs with. It seemed pretty good a first but then I see tons of fly's circulating the tray of frozen shrimp and the pies! I sit down and the making dispenser is covered of dirt and it was sticky along with the sugar bottle, so imagine the food. The food was not worth $12 it was more of a $5 buffet. The hot food was cold like the fries and chicken nuggets. Our waitress took a while to get us our drinks, another worker was being very rude to me an my family. I will be very Honest. i recently got fired from this restaurant for being 6 minute late. Eat Here if you want to support human trafficking or human exportation. The waiter are only paid by the tips. They don't pay living wages. When you leave no tips at all the waiter and waitress talk a lot bad crap about you behind your back. The lime you requested. Your waiter or waitress recycle the lime or lemon. So your lime get put in with other limes as well then served to the next guest. The Ice is very dirty. You may think the ice is clean. Used to love going here...but it has gotten worse over the years... Cooks do not know how to cook steaks...you ask for medium rare they give you rare or well done...and then they act like they don't understand you if you don't tip... they look at you like you are a fat pig getting more steaks and not tipping... Had lunch there today. Not sure if it was the food or the building but the smell when you walk in was enough to turn customers away. Since I have been there before I went ahead and ate . Some of the food was not hot and you could tell it had been out a while. The bathroom needed some attention. That may be the source of the smell. Agree with the other reviews. Food here is bad. Nothing is fresh. They carry all the standard Chinese dishes (and offer some alternatives for the kids like pizza and nuggets) but it tastes overdone and old. The place is dirty and smells bad. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of staff - all Chinese - but they all just stand around chatting with each other. There's just no excuse for a dirty restaurant. A mop and some soap and bleach would go a long way. Even so, they seem to have plenty of customers. We were a party of 3 and one was a child. Way overpriced for crappy food. Nearly $60! For two adult buffets and a child? They did not give us a receipt (on purpose?) but I suspect they might be charging extra for certain larger people even though we did not go back for a second plate. We just paid the bill and left. This place has such potential. It can hold a lot of people. Too bad they don't care about violating the health code (or apparently, labor laws). read more

This is the worst Chinese buffet that I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with an extremely unpleasant smell that I still can not place. So while you're expected to sit and eat their food you have to smell this disgusting smell. Ugh. And then there's the food. While I never expect much of sushi from a Chinese buffet, I feel like it is worth noting that their sauce of choice on many of their rolls is straight up mayonnaise. Gross. Anyway anything fried or tempura (which is like 80% of what they have) was stale and inedible. The only things that I could choke down were the chicken with broccoli and green beans which were the only reason this is not a one star review. Dessert bar was very Unimpressive and the service was just average. The ambiance was pretty typical for a Chinese buffet but the building seemed dated and a bit dirty which could be contributing to the bad smell. I do appreciate that they serve the drinks in large cups since they don't come by to check for refills very often. Anyway won't be coming back here. read more
