Everything we got was amazing! So glad we have awesome Chinese food so close! The eggplant tofu melts in your mouth!

Love the workers, the location and of course the food! They're very consistent and I've been very happy with their overall service.

We went of the third day they were open and even though they had just opened, it was amazing. The pork buns were so soft and delicious.

I had the Mongolian Beef on brown rice today, and I have to say, it's the closest mongolian beef to Hu's Szechwan in W Los Angeles - it was superb! That's a huge, huge compliment! Hubby had the trio kung pan and he loved his as well. We'll be back! read more

The food is pretty good. If you're looking for a decent American style Chinese take out, this place is good. The service on the other hand is a whole different story. I come here 3-4 times a month and order around $60-$70 per order. Today however has been the tipping point for me and as far as service goes, I don't think I could come here anymore. Nobody wants to eat a meal angry. Ordering is like pulling teeth. There's either a young man or young lady, almost always the same two people running the counter. The young lady is nice. The young man however always gives an attitude. Today however I requested to get the order in take out containers to make it easier for both the customer and the merchant. Avoid making dishes dirty and allow me to bring my leftover food home. He asked me am I eating here or leaving. I told him I'd like to eat here. Then he said "it is peak hours so if you have take out containers, and we need a table I will have to kick you out". As if I'm not a patron. As if I'm not ordering food from YOUR restaurant. As if I'm not giving YOU, MY MONEY. I've come here regularly for over a year and felt almost like a regular and to be treated like I'm asking for a free table without ordering food? Act like I didn't purchase anything? And here's the best part. I repeated myself because I couldn't believe this and he continued to insist to me that he will kick me out if I have a take out container. I cannot believe this and after this experience I feel embarrassed to give give this place my money. There's many many restaurants like this one and I think I'll feel much more comfortable giving my money somewhere else from here on. Also to note after this experience today, it took over 45 minutes to get my order. My food was almost cold. This doesn't usually happen, especially when there's only two other customers here. But yeah. Totally has nothing to do with this incident. read more

Well worth a visit! We did an order for pick up because the delivery fee is apparently $1/entree or item. I agree with the reviewers who said that this is the best chinese in town. We usually opt to get our chinese fix from Little Asian Kitchen in Dana or Titans Pho (irony) in San Juan. We ordered eggplant tofu (the best), spicy chicken wings (fantastic), orange chicken (good taste but unfortunately soppy), house chow fun (split vote on like and dislike by fam), green beans (not bad not the best), fried rice (nothing to write home about), and sesame balls (delish)! Everything out the door with tip was $71. I'd say not everything was stellar but we did think the eggplant tofu was exceptional and I really enjoyed the spicy wings. Nothing was bad and we definitely would like to try more things like their chow mein and other appetizers. I have a feeling it'll take exploration and accepting some hit and misses. So.... when China Well here in San Clemente closed it's door I was very disappointed. Today I am jumping for joy because I just ordered and ate the most delicious Chinese food I have had is years! Oh, the flavors! Pork Chop Suey was the best. You can taste each and every veggie. (got it spicy) and the Kung Pao was the best ! Lots of peanuts too. The Soup was great! The crab ragoons were really good too! I will never go anywhere else! Great Job! read more

sadly i have to give them a one star now. the food is good and you do get alot. they did raise their prices. but the service is atrocious. the guy who answers the phone the manager is awful. so rude,so nasty, acts like he hates it there. makes you want to run out of there. get him out of there and off the phones. the girls are nicer let them talk to the customers. he told us to come down they were open we get there by 8:30 and he says you cant sit down only take out? what you cant say that over the phone so we know. he does not care about anyone. so rude. dont ask any questions either he will give you cryptic answers. such bad energy/service in there now. hes ruining it for everyone. so sad. read more

We have a couple of good Chinese restaurants in San Clemente however China Bros is relatively new so we ordered takeout for dinner. We ordered the Chefs Special Seafood Delight. The description says " A combination of crab, shrimp, fish, broccoli etc. The crab is in fact imitation. That should have been disclosed in the description. We love real crab but not imitation. Secondly , we ordered Singapore Rice Noodle. The description does not say anything about scrambled egg. I am allergic to egg and would not have ordered it. Some dishes on the menu describe having egg but not this one. read more

I usually order through the website. It always says it will be ready in 15 minutes but is usually not ready for a half hour. Food is good and people are nice. Orders are brought out but they sit a while before calling numbers. Very disorganized. read more

The pickup service was good, food was ready within the time promised. The food is and in good quantity. Just one complain, it was light on salt. It is definitely better than Panda Express or Pick Up Sticks (the local competetion). read more

finally a good Chinese restaurant in the area. so much better than panda express. they give you so much food. no scrimping like panda express. and its fresh and quality made. i got the mongolian beef and it was so good. the prices are really good also. they were friendly and helpful. the food is authentic not scary made like the other chinese restaurants around here. i never know what im getting and i dont feel well afterwards and they are expensive. china bros. is a breath of fresh air. also got the eggfoo young and they gave me so much food and it was good. im happy. thank you. read more

I went to China Bros yesterday for the first time around 4:00pm. I am always excited about trying a new place. When the waitress brought me my soup, it was in a small styrofoam bowl and half full. I noticed the other diners had regular bowls. Call me picky, but when I go out to eat somewhere I prefer regular dishes, rather than styrofoam, if the restaurant is using regular plates. I asked if I could get my soup in a regular bowl and a full serving, The waitress did not seem to understand, that I did not want to use styrofoam, if the other patron had regular bowls. The waitress explained that was the serving, and started to walk away. I accepted that answer, but called her back to ask for a regular bowl. The waitress could not seem to understand, that I did not want to use styrofoam, if they were using regular dishes for soup. She rudely told me if she got a regular bowl, the serving will still be the same. When she left the table, I noticed I had no silverware or napkins. I asked her for a napkin 2 times, to which I was ignored. She was not busy, just standing at the cash register. I then asked her again for a napkin, when the pointed at a table and said, "There is the napkins." I sat there for a few minutes, embarrassed about how I was treated in front of the other customers. I then stood up, told her to cancel the order. I was excited to try this restaurant, but I will never pay for rude service to be treated badly. There are just too many other restaurants. read more
