We read the reviews a few posted about this restaurant so we were not anxious to try it. We recently moved into the area and came from a place where there were many Chinese food restaurants and had gone without for some time. We were really hungry for Chinese so we asked around and heard good reports. Thank goodness we listened and tried this place for ourselves. This is a buffet so don't go in expecting a menu but I can say that everything was kept fresh and very clean. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a superb Chinese food buffet experience. read more

It was ok. The staff was attentive and friendly. That gets the highest rating. The dining and buffet area was acceptable as far as being neat, clean and updated. The buffet stayed well stocked. The food was somewhat bland. Nothing that I tried stood out and made me think "wow, this is tasty!" Everything was just sort of tasteless and bland. Eating here wasn't a terrible experience , it was just bland and flavorless. read more

Food: 2.5/5 Service: 4/5 surprisingly good for an Asian restaurant. Ambiance: 4/5 I felt like I was eating at a nice buffet in Vietnam. Loved the chandelier and lights. Overall not a bad joint for a Chinese buffet out in the middle of nowhere...In other news I found out why there are Chinese buffets in an all white town. But that's a rabbit hole for you to find out. read more

Everything was great! Wish we had got there 15 minutes sooner before the dinner time started because there wasn't much different stuff put out or refreshed for the dinner price. read more

Food was lukewarm. Chicken dumplings so overheated in the warmer they were not chewable. If you like unrecognizable chicken covered in sauce then go here. They charged me double on my bill that I caught. Will not be returning. read more

One of the better Chinese buffets I've ever been too. Really happy we found this place. Very nice staff, clean, and pleasant decor

Excellent fresh Chinese food buffet or order from a menu! Our favorite place! Lots of options in the buffet!

Great food but if you want to take home sushi it can get expensive they open the to go plate and count your sushi

Weeeeellllllllllllllllll..... What can I say about this place? It's the ONLY Chinese buffet in town, so they have the market cornered. It's just OK. The service is ALWAYS excellent (Except for the guy at the register, he's kinda got a little attitude and is NEVER in a rush to seat you or check you out), but the wait staff is super attentive. Overall, this place is just... kinda... meh.... read more

We really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Everything was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back. Very clean and service was outstanding. read more

The last time I ate dinner here I ended up with food poisoning for two days. It was the shrimp and old rice. Be careful what you eat here.

The staff is very rude especially the guy working behind the checkout counter. My grandmother and I went to go get lunch today from there and as we were leaving he was very rude and would make comments and looks towards my Thai grandmother. I am not happy with this place or him either they need to get rid of him or something. This has been going on for a while. read more

One of the better Chinese Buffet. Huge selection of dishes and great service. You will not leave hungry

this place has really gone downhill . we ordered our usual order of double order of egg foo young. $30.00 take out . there was no box rice and when we called. they said rice was extra. Do not frequent this place read more

I eat there about twice a month. It's usually pretty clean and the entrees at the buffet are always the same. So there are no surprises. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, depends on you. They do keep the steam tables full and fresh, that's a huge plus. And it's been redecorated now. It's nice but I could do without the new, big TVs. You can't hear them and who needs them? Take a break from a screen for a while. The wait staff is always a cordial and helpful and the prices aren't bad. I like this place. It's a great break from Mexican, burgers or chicken. read more

Tonight I ordered take out from china cafe first time I have ever eaten there I ordered the sesame chicken I opened the box to see a pile of chicken of different sizes and bathing in sauce I took a bite and it was rotten I got another piece also rotten none of it was edible I then proceeded to feel very nauseous and puked repeatedly do not eat at this establishment THIS IS AN ORDER!!!! read more

I make it by this buffet at least once a month. China Cafe is always clean and the food selection is always fresh. For a small town, China Cafe does it up like a bigger city. read more

They just reopened after a remodel. They look amazing. So much better than before. The sushi quality has gotten better. Alot of stuff is the same but still good. Service could be better but they have been swamped after that remodel so it's kinda understandable. read more

Usually pretty good. Wish they had spring rolls. Overall nice selection. Staff is pretty attentive. Not a bad place. We have been here many times. read more

The culinary equivalent of paying $50 for a poorly pirated copy of "Indiana Jones" on VHS.

This is the most tasteless Chinese food I have ever eaten! Everything pretty much tasted the same. Only a few items were kept warm. The waters were good but the sad sacks that came out of kitchen were Scary. At These Prices You Deserve Decent Tasting Food. read more

It's good I eat here all the time... Not mind blowing as far as Chinese buffets go, but for GBC its great. They have all the staples you would expect to see at a Chinese buffet, even faux sushi. read more

GREAT, Hot food. Wait staff nice. They have a really nice buffet. They re-opened today and the food was soo good. They have sushi, all kinds of shrimp, soups, and they even had rice noodles really good. Dessert was good had different varieties. Also had some american food on the line for the kids. read more

Location has changed, as they are now on 334 (West Main Street) in GBC, near Wal-Mart. Amazing buffet... lots of variety and good quality. Desert platter is great too. This restaurant is always spotless. Never disappointed with this place! read more

We frequent this place so much that they know us pretty well. We love everything about this place. There's pretty good variety, it's always fresh, clean, and they help anyway they can. Service is quick and you leave feeling full! (It's a buffet of course!) read more

This place is actually good I was very skeptical coming in but someone I know said it's great. With that being said come get it.

This place is a Chinese food buffet, similar to Dragon Buffet in Big Spring, Texas. They have plenty of nice vegetarian-friendly choices on the buffet. Some noodles, rice, mixed vegetables, cheese wontons, etc. Nothing that really jumps out at me as memorable (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). I think the restrooms were OK, and parking wasn't a problem. It's a nice, small local place. Sure, I would eat here again. read more

China cafe has been around for year. The whole family loves this place. They have recently had a remodel which has turned the place to a luxury dinner experience. read more

We go often and the food is consistently good, fresh, and delicious. The restaurant is always clean and the service is great! The staff is super friendly read more

Not bad for a chinese buffet. Eat fast and get back to work. They have sushi but I try to stay away from buffet sushi

This place sucks. It's dirty, old, and the food isn't that great. Tonight we were here, and we saw some to go containers fall off the counter. The side that you would put food in hit the floor, and they picked them up and put them right back where they were for the next customer. We decided not to go back. It's a shame this is the only place you can get Chinese in town. read more

Very good food for a buffet. Sushi is actually very good, and service is good as well. The mac and cheese is a little watery and strange looking, but everything else is just fine. read more

It's a reasonably priced Chinese Buffet with food you will find at any typical American Chinese place. The selection is not great but acceptable and it's quick to get in and out read more
