Second review here for hamiguas. The best place in the entire county for Chinese/asian food. Made excellent every time. Tastes the same every time. Cheaper than other Chinese places you can go to. NO BUFFETT just plated dishes and they are all excellent. Bill and his wife and their cook are the best hands down. And they have been this good and the same great taste for over 20 years! read more

Ok so I've driven by this little hut looking Chinese restaurant several times but was past it before I could turn in to check it out. So today I happened to be nearby and stopped in. It was great food! The family are hard working nice people - you have to go. Their food was original, fresh, and tasty! I had House Special Lo Mein - if you like thin noodles and veges w meat and that recognizable Chinese flavor , you'll love it! It was a huge serving prob enough for two ! Their egg rolls were hand made. Fresh, and not oily like a lot of other Chinese restaurants! My friend had a traditional dish, Moo Goo Gai Pan which is Chicken & veges! Extremely yum! read more

We ate at this restaurant usually multiple times a week and have tried many many items on the menu. We have always been served with courtesy and efficiency, and the food has always been delicious. This resturant is lucky to get 1 star from me. I called for carry out and asked if their SPRING ROLLS - were the veggie rolls made with rice paper and peanut sauce and was told " YES, that's what they serve " so I ordered 2 since those are my favorite. Also ordered vegetable fried rice, they would not make the food unless I paid first, even though I was going to go through their " make shift" drive through. Thd English speaking person that took my order in thd phone had me slow down & repeat everything & spell it - even though when I got there I had to wait in the hot 100 degree sun for 30 mins while they made the food once I got there ! After getting home with the food the egg rolls were regular ones & not the Spring rolls that I ordered. And the fried rice looked ok, however I have had much better since I just moved here from the DFW area. I will never order from this resturant again. Food is over priced for the quality and service. Both are not the quality I am accustomed to ! Just tried the fried rice and ugh! Tastes BAD! Can't even eat it! read more

Love this place. Good Asian food is hard to find. Imagine my surprise when my coworker recommended this place. This place is easy to drive by and doesn't look like much from the outside.. This "hole-in-the-wall" off Hwy 80 is a true Edgewood TX treasure. We dined-in and sampled several traditional Chinese treats from the appetizer and soup menu, then followed with three entrees. All were ample portions. We learned there is a separate kitchen for their fusion offerings (which sounded like specialty burgers which we hope to try on our next visit). Delicious! I love their General Tso's chicken. They give generous portions too. Their lunch menu is a great deal. I've been a couple times and would definitely go again. It is a great addition to the regular burger or pizza restaurants that are in the area. read more

I love this restaurant! I often get my order to go but I've eaten there a few times and the service is excellent! The restaurant is very clean! When I order to go, the food is packaged very well without spills for the 15 minute travel time home. First time here even though it is around the corner from me, and I'm sorry I haven't been here sooner! The restaurant is small and not fancy so it's easily passed without noticing, but the food was excellent! We moved here from New York and unfortunately Texas does not have a lot of Chinese restaurants so the buffets are about the only place to get it. Who would have guessed that a small town like Edgewood is the place to go for excellent Chinese food in Texas! Family owned, clean, and great service in addition to the great food. In my opinion, this is absolutely the WORST so-called Chinese food I have ever eaten! My wife is an immigrant Asian and I am ashamed to say I served this to her Asian friends the other night. They were laughing and saying in China we wouldn't feed this to our dogs! Example? General Tso chicken...what a joke!! The actual chicken in each piece was the size of a small marble. The corn starch coating was so think the piece was huge. When you bit into it, you tasted soggy corn starch...no chicken flavor!. The other food was bland and the flavors were "off". No I didn't sample the entire menu, so I can't speak for other items, but after this experience I NEVER WILL! How on Earth do places like this stay in business! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more
