I like this place a lot. Good food, reasonable prices and portions, and quick service from the jovial, sometimes hyper waitress/owner. The decor and furnishings are spartan, you order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. You get free WiFi with your egg rolls. The menu is typical Chinese restaurant fare with many choices. If you want your Hunan authentically spicy, I suggest that you tell the waitress when you order since I suspect they are trying not to harm the locals. China Dragon is pretty far from where we live but we make a point of stopping by when we are in the area. Forget about the fast food at the Concordia I-70 exit. Instead, drive barely one mile south to the China Dragon in downtown Concordia for real food. read more

As a student in the small town of Concordia, China Dragon is a great place to get away with friends and get good food (MUCH better than dining hall, let me tell you). Tina the owner is always super sweet and if you go there frequently she gets to know you (and might give you a special treat if you smile the right way). My family always loves to come here when they visit and we adore the food, especially the crab rangoons. Ah, I'm getting hungry just thinking about them! The prices on everything is amazing for the quality and amount that you get, and there are vegetarian and 'healthier' options on the menu for all you health conscious people out there. 10/10 would recommend :) read more

China Wagon is located in a quintessentially mid-west downtown. Nondescript building, old cafe feel. The food was REAL AUTHENTIC YUMMY Chinese fare! The sweet and sour chicken was crispy and flavorful and the red sauce as good as it gets anywhere. The waitress/owner was just a delight! Despite very broken English, she offered exceptional service and made us all feel very welcomed and appreciated. While the ambience was completely absent, it still was a good place to eat and the prices are reasonable. Go there if you ever happen into Concordia Missouri. Give the owner a hug from me. read more

My wife and I drove to Concordia from Knob Noster, which was not a bad drive, once we arrived to the restaurant we were greeted by a woman who was exceptionally kind and wore a big smile. We ordered Beef oriented dishes sided with vegetables and rice that felt and tasted fresh. We plan on returning for lunch again and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. One of the only Chinese places I've found in west-central MO once you get past Warrensburg... it's a favorite lunch spot for the Concordia/Emma/Sweet Springs folk. Quick & uber-friendly service, and very reasonable prices, but the food is pretty run of the mill. Today's lunch (General Tso's chicken) was pleasantly sweet with just a little heat; I would have liked it a bit spicier, but it was still reasonably good. The server called everyone at our table "sister" in her fractured English, which was good for some amusement points. This is what a small family owned and operated Chinese restaurant should be. Service was great. Food was outstanding. Had the lunch special of sweet and sour pork with fried rice and an egg roll. Everything came out right out of the wok hot. Ordered a bowl of wonton soup also. The soup had to sit for a while because it was so hot. Pork was some of the best I have ever had. Passing along on I 70 , read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Excellent. I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and crab Rangoon. My husband had cashew chicken and egg roll. I had been craving Chinese since our stop in GA from FL and found this place. Read the reviews and decided to try it out. It was indeed super clean and the lady in the front was the cutest. So sweet. We got the bourbon chicken and chicken fried rice, however we ended up getting bourbon with white rice. That was a bummer, but with that said, the meal was pretty good, the egg rolls were decent. My husband also ordered Chinese donuts because I had never had them and they were better than expected. read more

I have been to China Dragon in Concordia, many times. Every dish I have ever ordered is delicious. Servings are large and taste delectable.
