I met a friend here for a late lunch and we chose the location primarily based on the fact that it was easy to find. The menu had lots of interesting Middle Eastern choices, and there was a broad variety of items. The food was ok. I ordered lamb kabob and received two pieces of meat, which were burnt. This was a take out order so I was highly disappointed when I got home and opened the plate. Excellent little whole in thebwall restaurant. I've driven past this place for the 2 years we have lived in the area and always wanted to try it. Tried it today and was blown away. I had a Fully Loaded Gyro and my wife had the Chicken Panini. The Gyro was authentic and tasted like I was back in Greece. The meat was well seasoned. The lettuice, tomato, onion, and feta were all fresh. The tzatziki sauch was awesome. The portion was size was enormous and each bite was the perfect combination of meat, veggies, and sauce and cheese. My wifes chicken panini with roasted tomatoes and peppers looked really good. This was my first time eating here, after reading the reviews I figured I would give it a try since Sedalias food scene is absolute garbage! This landed right on that heap with the other spots here... To start the prices on the website are wrong and they didn't tell me about the charge to use my card cause I would have paid cash had they informed me of an over 2% sur charge! I ordered the orange berry turkey ciabatta sandwich, which as described as a cranberry orange ciabatta bread with turkey (very little turkey at that!) and all the "Greek" fixings.... It was a plain ciabatta bread with a few dots of some sort of cranberry spread! I opened the container before leaving the drive thru and showed the lady and she insisted that it was the cranberry orange bread... I didn't want to argue so I said fine. The other thing I got was the sample platter with a small Greek salad and pitta bread with hummus and tzatziki yogurt and three falafels... the salad was not good and the pitta and sides were the best part of the whole meal, the falafels where ok, not very flavorful. They need to update their menu. I ordered a gyro panini with a salad which says 9.69 on the website. Recipt said 10.95 and 2.00 for the salad. Got like 2 pieces of meat. Was good. Food is good, nothing to brag about. Kids and I got 3 drinks, and 3 Gyros. $35. Everything has an up-charge, so you buy everything individually. The atmosphere is fine, but the seating is very cramped. I will say, after spending over $30 for a meal, It's not a great feeling leaving a restaurant still hungry, but unfortunately that's the case. Stopped in for lunch today after cleaning up at the fairgrounds and was so impressed! Evidently my co worker discovered this gem during the State Horse show and I'm excited to have another Sedalia favorite and one a little off the "burger and shake" path to mix it up. My co worker got the standard gyro and it looked delicious (although messy) and we split a hummus and pita which was very good. I decided to go for the Kasba with gyro meat and loved it. It was lighter than a gyro since it was just the rice, meet and veggies but had great flavor. The sauce was on the side which I loved because I could drizzle it on without it being overloaded. The meat and veggies were flavored very well on their own so I didn't always want the sauce on every bite. All in all, I will definitely be back! read more

Good Greek food, like Gyro's and spanikopita. It is overpriced. Being the only one of its kind in Sedalia, though, it has a corner on the market. Sedalia has a very difficult time keeping unique places in business. I've never had their cheesecake. If it is Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, I would imagine Cheesecake Factory would have something to say about some small shop's re-sale of their signature item. They also have Gelato too. My first time here, the food was decent, I enjoyed my meal although the potatoes and veggies were somewhat burned... it had really good flavor. Came back to give them another chance and not only did I wait for my meal for over an hour . I get my food, dig in and (GASP).... my chicken and rice are cold!!! I got up and nicely notified the waitress, she was apologetic, but all she did was put my food in the microwave! I mean, right in front of me... WTH?? I wish they had more stuff to offer as a side because we just ended up with the two gyros and drinks and there wasn't really anything good for a small side except chips. We are traveling from out of town and spotted an outside food stand advertising gyros. As we love Mediterranean food we thought we'd give it a shot and we are glad we did. They were excellent. The lamb was tender and seasoned well. The pita bread was soft and pillowy and delicious. And it had just the right amount of feta cheese, onion, and lettuce. They told us the restaurant was being renovated after a small fire but they wanted to keep their customers satisfied til they reopen the restaurant. Go visit these guys. Delicious!! read more
