The food was all covered a However the orange chicken only had very little in the pan, I got some and it was so hard we couldn't eat it, I asked if they could put fresh orange chicken on the buffet she only brought me plate of it and said normally we dont do this we charge extra, like excuse me I came to eat fresh food if I can't bite into something fix the problem if you want more people coming , the sushi was OK but everything else was nasty. i was at this resturant on sunday 2-2-25, first thing that jumps out at me is no visible sign saying how much the buffet cost. we were one of the first customers for the day and the food on the service line had not been stirred and some was dried out, i am sure that if i was a health inspector this place should be closed, the ambiance was not warm and inviting but was needing improvments in cleaning and staff as there was only one person trying to handle the 4-6 people within the facility, they did have 5-6 security cameras, the lighted boat scenes on the wall and using a big mirror to reflect it tries to give the impression that is larger then what it is, for occupancy, the food was ok, but after the 1st trip to the buffet our check was brought to the table and the drink of diet pepsi was 2.79 for a glass of sode, thats a bit extream, having been in food service with years of experience im not sure id go back, as for the rest rooms, the cake on dirt on the bottom of the doors was disgusting. as i did some inquires about the place i found out that they price the buffet on what you eat by making a visual observation. they only take visa, mastercard, cash. while there after returning from the rest room the facility was beginning to fill up rather fast. when entering the facility there were napkins on the ground outside the entrance door that i picked up and place in a garbage receptiable inside. the lighting is eh ok at best, the cieling lights need to be cleaned or replaced, whe we did check out the server who was also the cashier boasted that they have been in operation for 24 years to which i am sure people can ckeck the inspection records. now without being able to see into the kitchen i can say that we could smell like someone was cooking pizza, needless to say it is not a place i would recommend for future experiences. i uspect i will be notifying the health dept to looking into this location(s) and heed the suggestion of a proper (un-announced) inspection ... we didnt stay as the food was not inviting or something that a person wouild crave. i suppose this mihgth be a decnet place for take out, but learning what we did on the first visit i have no desires to go back and i will want to see them most current inspection posted conspicuously as is required by law .... folks i recommend going to a fast food place if you can and not to support this resturant. madisionville , monroe county , tn can do better. the phone number on th ecard obtained is 423-442-0488 and they boast open 7 days a week, they need to upgrade their cleaning skills from top to bottom. if i could give is a letter grade it would be (f) . be cautious of what your are eat there do to there is no continuity in temp. control and are susceptible to a food borne illness read more

We've had great experiences here, when we go for lunch. Some people have commented that the employees aren't very friendly, yet they've been nice to us when we visit for lunch. I believe the prices are higher on the weekend, but not 100% sure, as we try to go during the week and we've enjoyed our meal and sushi. I believe the female employee that works here, gets upset if you waste food, can't say that I blame her; so when we go, we only place items on our plates that we know we'll be eating. read more

It is a bit small with limited food on the 2 small buffets. That would absolutely not be a problem if the food was good; however, it wasn't. Thankfully, the waitress was very kind and patient with us. They also have a small, terribly dirty fish tank with a very large fish in it. That kinda did it for me. This place is exactly what it needs to be. I love coming here. For anyone leaving bad reviews talking about the buffet.. you just need to stop and think about what kind of place you're in, where you're at, and what the real expectations are. It's a small, basic variety of asian food on a buffet, and it's in Madisonville TN (not the biggest city... whatsoever). This place really sucks, they charge way too much they don't know how to cook Chinese food and their to go boxes are way too small and quite frankly I think they're quite Rude. If there was a spot for zero stars I would give them zero. The place is always dead you think I figure out somethings wrong with their food. I don't know how they stay open. The only good things I can say for this place is it's clean and had good service. The food on the buffet in some cases was old and over cooked. Also a very limited variety of it. Has to be the worst dining experience ever..there was literally no food in over half the pans on buffet..they refilled the rice and whatever that is on a stick only to have a couple to go vulchers to take it up before we had a chance to get any..so if you like rice with the leftover sauce scraped from bottom of the pans on top I highly recommend it..if not find a better place to spend 40$ for 2 people to leave hungry. read more

The food is never hot, and you can tell it has been sitting there for a longer time than it needs to be. The man at the cash register when you come in will come and stand and watch patrons eat, and the cook staff come out and eat while the customers are eating. There is one man in particular that cooks that wears dirty clothes and muddy shoes. The lady that takes you to the table is very sweet and always has a smile, but I have noticed every time we have been there to eat, she never washes her hands after handling dirty dishes, silverware or glasses. And she wipes down the tables with the same dirty dish cloth and then puts it in the sink, never washing it out or sanitizing anything. When the next table leaves, she picks up the same dirty rag and wipes that table down and throws the dirty rag back into the sink. I have seen enough, and we will not eat here again. They need to clean up and be professional, or at least clean with the food and tables. read more
