Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant…read more The decor is straight out of the 80's. Their specials are on a poster board on the wall behind the register. Most of their business are call in orders which they take on a phone with a cord. I believe it's owned and run by a family. Parents are in the kitchen and their kids are either taking orders or studying at a table. And the second most important thing is they only take cash or check. They do not have a credit card machine. Why is that second most important thing? Because the food is worth the wait, the decor, and the hassle of going to an ATM to get food from here. Enjoy!

Fortunately, New China is a good one. They give you quality food at a good price point and they have recipes that have good flavor, just enough spice and variety to make it taste good. I'm still looking for that stellar strip mall Chinese place, but in the interim if you need just a good Chinese fix New China's a great place to try. They are friendly and quick. Worth a trip.

It's a nice little place, especially for takeout. The inside is a little bare, but it still looks good. Workers there are polite, and I could see that they were busy making a lot of orders. At first I wasn't sure about going here due to the lack of cars, but don't let the location fool you; the plaza it's in is mostly empty of stores. read more
