    Sweet and sour chicken.
    Nicholas U.

Food was decent. I had the lunch special of Sweet and Sour Chicken. Also had the wonton soup and pork fried rice. Service and soup were good. Everything else was fair to average. On the bland side. Nothing to praise. The restaurant was not very clean, table was tacky to the touch. Not sure what that was about. Bathroom was updated and seemed cleaner than the restaurant. Have to try it again to see if I just caught them on a bad day.

Edit: Went there again and they were still amazing! I highly recommend this place! Also the serving sizes are immaculate.

    Wonton Soup, lettuce seriously..!!
    Don P.

Lunch did not start off well, the wonton soup was lukewarm, only mildly flavorful and the addition of lettuce rather than the usual Chinese greenery was a definite turn off. Things began to look up, when my Spicy Pork, green bean dish arrived. The pork, green beans and mixed vegetables were perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious; the accompanying spicy brown sauce was spot on. Were it not for the pork dish this would be and entirely different review. If they can correct the soup mishap the dining experience would have warranted 4 stars. I wouldn't hesitate to return as there is definitely talent in the kitchen.

12 piece fried chicken wing. 1 piece is a half wing.

It's designed for crowds, and has a large bar. We were a party of three that ate a combo of appetizers (good: gyoza, coconut shrimp, and crab rangoon), and sushi (decent) and udon (good). A complicated roll, their *monster*, arrived about ten minutes behind the rest of the entrees. It was fresh, served well, and tasted good. Kobe won't win prizes for art, presentation values, or other extras, but our food was good and the service was fine. Although we didn't have any, we surmise that they also sell a lot of wine, beer, and liquor. There's a large parking lot and it's handicap-accessible. Good food, reasonable prices (the area is expensive), and we found it an overall good value. Nothing bad, nothing really memorable except the hundreds of photos of parties held their. We assess that they like a crowd. Who doesn't?

This made me excited because a nys steak is exactly what i fancied this evening. I ordered it as one should (medium rare) bit what i got was a heaping mess of veggies and over cooked cubes of what might as well been some chuck roast. This place is dog shit. My girlfriend and i also ordered some sushi which i thought would at least improve my evening, however for some reason they choose to grind up whatever fish is inside the rolls into some effed up mess that tastes like cat food. I am very disappointed but as a good restaurant patron did not say anything because i guess what i ordered is the dog shit they make here. Plz do not come here if you expect to eat a good steak or sushi.

I live 22 miles away, cause there's no Chinese restaurant in my area. I contacted the restaurant and ask them why? they told me they do not provide sauces with orders to go. So I said if I ate your restaurant, you would give me sauce. They said yes. So that didn't make sense to me at all. and then I was told that if you don't like it go somewhere else. what infuriated me. I asked to talk to the manager. she also said they do not provide sauces with orders to go. And also tell me to go somewhere else. that's kind of like ordering a coffee through a drive-in. And you don't get cream and sugar. But this establishment had no problem, saying no way not giving it to you. Who eats pork fried rice without either soy sauce, hot mustard, or duck sauce. and lastly, no fortune cookies. their name is good fortune. how can you get a good or bad fortune without a fortune cookie? what is this world turned to? When a restaurant does not provide you the products to eat your meal. It makes it my fault. It tells me to go elsewhere.

The dipping sauce helped make up for being overcooked. I chose not to say anything as it was late, they were closing soon. I also ordered stone pot Bibimbap. I was pleased with it. The only thing I found off was this is the only Korean restaurant I've found that charges extra for stone pot. I've always had it served in a stone pot. Although the waiter, perhaps owner greeted me when I came in and answered any questions I had, he never returned after my appetizer or meal were delivered to ask how they were. That's not acceptable. I was assuming he was already aware the scallion pancake was over cooked and didn't want to hear it. For the overall amount of food I'd say the prices were reasonable, just not sure I'll return when I'm in the area again. Side note I do like kimchi and I liked their kimchi. Also many Korean restaurants will serve a side of fruit after the meal. Not sure if that is a cost saving measure in difficult times.

It was 9pm and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were courteous and attentive and our waitress was very sweet. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was delicious. The sesame chicken was beautifully plated, complete with an edible orchid. The kung pao chicken and pepper steak came as you would expect so my husband and I teased the waitress about why we didn't get special plates with edible flowers. She was cute. The food was delicious and the portions just the right size. My husband asked for his king pao extra spicy and it definitely was not- but it's ok cause then we didn't mind sharing with him. I really enjoyed the half soft-boiled egg in the shio ramen as well as the enormous quantity of noodles, but there wasn't a ton of flavor in the dish. The chicken hibachi had great sauce and decent noodles, but the meat was dry and felt overcooked. The caterpillar roll surprised me since it was tuna-based, rather than the eel that is typical for that name. None of the dishes stood out as exceptional. The service was quite interesting. I did appreciate the water service - the server came around early on yo offer refills. Then about midway through the meal, she asked if we wanted leftovers boxed up. I wasn't too hungry so I was fine with take home the leftovers, although the timing felt a bit early to me. I couldn't tell if that was because it was just after 8 PM and they were trying to close up soon (advertised closing time of 8:30 PM), but there were still plenty of other tables with diners. The bill came with a mandatory 18% tip for our group of 5.

"Right before my very eyes Baby what a big surprise"…read more(Chicago) When was the last time, you were enjoying a gorgeous looking dish of Vegetable Tempura and realized OMG, I just chomped down on something crazy spicy? Well, that's what happens when you bite into an unadvertised half of a jalapeno pepper when the menu promises sweet potato, onion, and broccoli. Now look, as the late Sly Stone sang, "Different strokes for different folks", meaning that we all have different tolerances for spiciness. I was OK with that blazing piece of green, that for all purposes looked like a slice of Bell Pepper, but it set off fire alarms for my wife, who flat out couldn't eat it. Putting all that aside, we had a very enjoyable dinner. We got a lucky parking spot in a small lot right across the street and were seated without a reservation, which was also kind of lucky because Kisara doesn't have a lot of seating - I counted 8 tables (some for 4 and a few for 2) and nine seats at the bar. Our dinner ran a shade under $42 with tax for a 12-ounce bottle of Sapporo beer, the aforementioned Vegetable Tempura appetizer ($10), an Octopus Sushi appetizer (three pieces for $5.75, and two nice salads - an Avocado Salad ($7.25) and Teriyaki Chicken ($11.50). As you can see, Kisara's pricing is pretty good. The Tempura (save for the unexpected and unadvertised jalapeno halves) was very good - a generous serving of hot, crispy and oil free sweet potato planks, broccoli florets, and onion rings. My octopus sushi was pretty good. The pieces were large and presented beautifully. Maybe a minor quibble would be the chewiness factor of the octopus. The salads were very pretty - an attractive presentation of mixed greens, lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and a ginger dressing. My wife's salad had seven avocado slices and mine had ten chunks of teriyaki sauce glazed chicken chunks. Maybe another minor quibble would be the chewiness of the chicken, they were definitely overcooked. Positives Their menu is fantastic. Service was fine and included a few check-backs which are always appreciated Negatives There is no public WIFI - when I saw a Kisara network pop up, I asked for the password and was told "that's only for the manager". They don't really have a website, but you can somewhat see one via an ordering platform off their Facebook page. Conclusion For walking in off the street without a reservation, overall, we had a very nice dinner.
