General Chicken and pork fried rice

I gave this place a second and my last. The pork fried rice is awful. It's yellow and has no flavor. In a way it kind of looked like couscous .The general chicken was basically some frozen battered chicken with some really sweet sauce thrown on it.It says spicy but it's not.The wonton soup they gave with the dinner was just like a cup of hot water with one overcooked barely stuffed wonton.I wanted it to be better than the last time but it was worse.

Very nice new atmosphere and very good service. I would recommend this place to others who like chineese.

    Not Szechuan chicken!

My wife and I have been eating here and getting to go orders for years. Tonight w place a to go order and when we got home it was wrong. We ordered Szechuan chicken but got something completely different. We called and we were told that we got the correct food. REALLY! It's not like we have had it before! This was not Szechuan chicken. The staff was rude to us and ultimately hung up on us. We will never go back!

Stopped in at New Fortune for take out. We bought some sushi, fried rice, dumplings and boneless spare ribs. The sushi was fresh, and the prices have to be the best in town. The dumplings were not greasy, the spare ribs were cooked perfectly, but the shrimp fried rice wasn't the best I have had. I do have to say though that the shrimp in the rice was fresh, and not those mini frozen shrimp, Overall, I prefer the sushi at New Fortune over any other spot in Greenfield, and I like the fact that the staff is always pleasant and welcoming. When we order delivery, they are also quick and courteous.

See for yourself- Chicken, vegetables, and a used rubber glove.

Ordered from New Fortune recently. Food was delivered like usual. After serving my family, I got halfway down the to go box and saw something blue poking through the chicken and vegetables. I thought, well that isn't a color I'd expect to see. So I poked around again and to my horror, I found the finger tip of a blue rubber glove mixed in my food! I could not believe me eyes- I was completely disgusted. Of course, I immediately called the restaurant back. To my surprise, I was told the cooks don't wear gloves when preparing food. So basically no one could explain where the glove came from or how it ended up in my to go box. Still to this day, I don't know how the glove ended up in my food- and I'm not sure what's worse: The fact that the cooks don't wear gloves when preparing food- or the fact that some unexplainable used latex glove mysteriously appeared in my food. Long story short, I won't be ordering from this place again.

It's designed for crowds, and has a large bar. We were a party of three that ate a combo of appetizers (good: gyoza, coconut shrimp, and crab rangoon), and sushi (decent) and udon (good). A complicated roll, their *monster*, arrived about ten minutes behind the rest of the entrees. It was fresh, served well, and tasted good. Kobe won't win prizes for art, presentation values, or other extras, but our food was good and the service was fine. Although we didn't have any, we surmise that they also sell a lot of wine, beer, and liquor. There's a large parking lot and it's handicap-accessible. Good food, reasonable prices (the area is expensive), and we found it an overall good value. Nothing bad, nothing really memorable except the hundreds of photos of parties held their. We assess that they like a crowd. Who doesn't?

This made me excited because a nys steak is exactly what i fancied this evening. I ordered it as one should (medium rare) bit what i got was a heaping mess of veggies and over cooked cubes of what might as well been some chuck roast. This place is dog shit. My girlfriend and i also ordered some sushi which i thought would at least improve my evening, however for some reason they choose to grind up whatever fish is inside the rolls into some effed up mess that tastes like cat food. I am very disappointed but as a good restaurant patron did not say anything because i guess what i ordered is the dog shit they make here. Plz do not come here if you expect to eat a good steak or sushi.

It was 9pm and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were courteous and attentive and our waitress was very sweet. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was delicious. The sesame chicken was beautifully plated, complete with an edible orchid. The kung pao chicken and pepper steak came as you would expect so my husband and I teased the waitress about why we didn't get special plates with edible flowers. She was cute. The food was delicious and the portions just the right size. My husband asked for his king pao extra spicy and it definitely was not- but it's ok cause then we didn't mind sharing with him. I had the pepper steak and it was tender and flavorful. Everything was really good. If we lived nearby, we'd make it our go-to Panasian spot!

Once they announce it, you need to call immediately or get shut out. My observation about the place itself. The U shaped bar is gigantic for the space. It's a bar-bar too not like a sushi counter. This seems to draw a crowd of local drinkers rather than the normal sushi crowd. You feel like you walked into a sports bar. The place was really loud and it was hard to hear the chef explaining everything. Once seated... it's the chefs carving the tuna off to the side. There were 2 bar tenders making drinks and like 3 chefs cutting tuna.... other than that, no waitstaff. Which is really odd. You have to grab the manager who was running around helping to get your Wasabi refilled. Not to mention they gave zero place settings for about 8 of us, until we asked. The bar tenders seemed to pass over my empty drink until I asked for a refill too. It's a more chaotic event than I would have liked for $120 per person. It also takes time to carve the tuna so if you arrive hungry be prepared to not get your first tiny bite until 45 minutes after the start. The star was Chef Timmy. Honestly he was awesome. The tuna.... so good. You end to with only 3 pieces of Nigiri which was a little disappointing but the sashimi part was unlimited. Of course you have to take your plate up and ask for some. They only put about 6 small pieces of the various cuts per trip. I think I went up 5 times for sashimi alone. The tuna handrolls you can make yourself or ask the chef nicely. Those were really good. Probably best I ever had because it's so fresh. There is a limited amount of the highly prized (and highly priced) Kamatoro, but you can experience it here as it's included in the experience. That's a hard cut to find. The finale was a shot of tuna spinal fluid. My first time with that but it's not bad. You're probably looking at $150 per person unless you order alcohol than it's alot more. The fresh cut tuna is amazing. I'm glad I did it. The chaos and the setting made it less than ideal. I don't think I would go again to this location for it. One and done. It's a bit weird that you're paying $120 for this and you're still intermingled with local patrons just there to grab some beers after work and watch the game. Because of the massive bar it is impossible to create a space secluded to do it. They also should have a roaming waiter at least taking care of the 30 people who came for this experience.

I went in tonight to check them out and I guess there has been a change in ownership, two of the Baba Sushi employees bought them out, or so I hear. I was pretty impressed with this place, the sushi is super fresh and really good. More impressive, on a Sunday night, were the crowds of Asian people enjoying their AYCE hot pot and sushi. You probably can't get near this place on a Friday or Saturday. Since I'm relatively new to sushi, I had *a few* questions, and my server Alexandra was amazing with all the questions even though she was super busy. I had the land and sea roll, and, while, not "technically" sushi, it was a delight--torched beef wrapped around shrimp tempura. Would be good for a person--and I know several--who absolutely won't eat raw fish. Had the tuna torch roll, also very good. She brought me the "house" soy sauce which is ten times better for sushi than regular soy sauce, much lighter and less salty. A lot of times I'm a bit skeeved out by the all you can eat concept, but they are making this stuff fresh as you order it. That other reviewer who said he prefers Hungry Bowl is out to lunch, sorry. The vibe and especially the service is much nicer here; it seems like people go to Hungry Bowl specifically to just pig out and not for the quality. Nothing against Hungry Bowl, but while we're comparing.... What I'd like to do is bring a big gang o' people here and try everything! But unfortunately I don't live around here. But I do come up here to square dance and I will be back to try more stuff.
