Tonight we decided to try Beijing House for the first time and found it to be fairly good. We purchased two of the "Super Combos" and found the portions to be really large. The fried rice was not overly greasy, and the General Tso's was great as well. The spear ribs were average, and the chicken wings were cooked to perfection. The other great part about this restaurant is the staff at Beijing House. When we went to order we were greeted by a little girl and a woman whom we believed to be her mother. The little girl was extremely sweet, and had great customer services skills for such a young person. The other staff members were great as well and made us feel welcomed. The dining area in the restaurant was extremely clean and like the previous review stated, the furniture was a blast from the past. Final thoughts: Good food, great staff, and reasonable prices.

Not bad, not great. The only reason we drove into the parking lot was to stop in at the Cumberland Farms next door. After living off camp food/pizza for 4 days, I had a craving for Chinese, and eating at a table with flooring underneath. The place had 4 tables and a solid floor. They had a skeleton crew of 2 working the store, but there was only a slightly longer than usual wait for the food. Portion size is very average. They are CLOSED on Tuesdays but were once closed on Thursdays. Every takeout menu has this handwritten adjustment. An overall satisfactory experience.

    Cute seating.

You never really know what to expect when you decide on lunch from a predominately Chinese American take out restaurant. In this case, it was an absolutely wonderful experience with food quality you seldom see in that type of venue. They have a "super Combo" meal where you select one entree item from column (A) and two sides from column (B). At first bite the fried rice was an eye opener, so often it is a mere after thought with little flavor used to bulk up the plate and in most cases not worth a single mouthful. The fried rice at Bei Jing was one of the best preparations of that dish I have had outside of a major Chinatown, frankly I was stunned at how good it was compared to what I usually get in the average take out restaurant. The main entree was Spicy Chicken, here again a dish solidly prepared, with excellent flavor and a spice note that was dead on. How many times do you see something advertised as spicy only to wonder after the first bite if you or the cook has lost his or her taste buds for hot and spicy, friends you wont have that problem at B J it is as advertized. My first side from column (B) was egg rolls which are always a crap shoot as the vast majority of restaurants buy them frozen and cook them to order. If you start with good quality frozen egg roll which has been properly slaked ( defrosted under refrigeration) fried at the proper temperature of 360 degrees, then you are going to have an above average product which will be crispy not oily with all the flavor you would expect from a good egg roll. In my opinion Bei Jing does that and does it very nicely I might add. My second side was boneless spareribs prepared like a typical Char Sui using a slightly different cut of pork, here again the meat was tender and the sauce was delightful. On this particular day it was mom who cooked my meal so I can't vouch for dad's ability but I do know this, if I am ever in that area again I will not hesitate to stop in for lunch as this is one experience I sure would like to repeat.

Surprisingly good American Chinese restaurant. Very fresh and speedy delievery. Rivals China Gourmet as best Chinese cuisine in greenfield.

Best Asian style food in the area. Worth trying if haven't been there yet. Anyone I've recommended it to has been equally satisfied.

Not good! Most food had a weird flavor, Luke warm at best. First and last time we go there!

It has a traditional looking interior with wooden plaques around. I would have to recommend getting wontons no matter what dish you get, the sauce is so good and we were picking at the peanuts. I got my favorite Hot n Spicy noodles, this was a little more sour than I remembered so if you don't like sour soups I wouldn't recommend. The Dan Dan Noodles were great although could use a little more sauce. The cucumber dish was good, a little small but was refreshing to eat.

Half the restaurant seats (the right side) were empty. I was given a small table near the entrance and I asked for a larger table, since I planned on ordering quite a few dishes to try. The maître d' said "No", that they reserve those seats for four people. I completely understand if the restaurant was busy or expecting more people. I said, no, I would be leaving. I was allowed to leave. After all, he had no stake in the revenue. But I hope the owners will take notice of this. You have lost a customer, and likely a repeat customer. In addition, whatever happened to service and accommodating customers, especially when it costs nothing in this situation.

Everything is made fresh to order from the thick, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, and scallion pancakes. Ordering is quick and casual. You place your order at the back right counter when you walk in (for dine-in or takeout), and the cashier also acts as your server. If you order a noodle soup, they'll ask if you want green onions and/or cilantro. After that, just grab any open table and relax. We ordered a variety of dishes. Appetizers: Scallion pancakes: (3/5) nice crispy pancakes with scallions. Dumplings with pork and leeks: (3/5) tender dumplings filled with pork and some leeks Spicy stewed beef noodle soup: (4/5) thick hand pulled noodles in a savory broth topped with vegetables like bok choy and mushroom and some tender beef Hot and sour vermicelli soup: (4/5) very tangy savory broth with tender vermicelli noodle and ground pork. Medium spicy level Biang Biang noodles with pork: (4/5) their signature hand-pulled noodles are sautéed in a medium spicy sauce with pork. Overall this place hits the spot for an authentic Chinese meal without the glitz and glamour.
