It's spacious with lots of booth seating, warm wood tones and Asian-inspired decor throughout. It definitely feels like a proper sit-down restaurant rather than just a quick takeout spot. Service was good and we had no issues at all, although I would describe it as more efficient than personable. Everyone was nice, there just wasn't a lot of interaction beyond what was needed. We tried the spicy beef soup, beef on a stick, chicken chow mein and the General Tso's Super Meal. The spicy beef soup was one of our favorites. It had the perfect amount of spice, enough heat to notice without overpowering the flavor, and they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients. It was loaded with beef and vegetables. The beef on a stick was good, although the beef was a little chewy and fairly mild on its own. Adding some soy sauce gave it the extra flavor we felt it needed. The chicken chow mein was a HUGE portion with tender chicken and crunchy vegetables in a light clear/white sauce, served with white rice. We especially liked that the vegetables still had a nice crunch rather than being cooked until completely soft. I ordered the General Tso's Super Meal for $19.95, which came with chicken wonton soup, two crabmeat wontons and two shrimp toasts. The amount of food you get is honestly impressive. The General Tso's was mildly spicy with really good flavor, the broccoli was lightly steamed so it still had a nice crunch without tasting raw, and the white rice was cooked well. I only managed to eat about a quarter of my entrée! Unfortunately, the appetizers included with my Super Meal were the biggest misses. The crabmeat wontons were not what I expected. If you're thinking of the sweeter crab Rangoon commonly served at Chinese restaurants, these are definitely different. They were much more savory. There were visible shreds of imitation crab, but I really couldn't taste much of it because the cream cheese flavor was so dominant. Duck sauce helped, but I still didn't finish the second one. The shrimp toast was unfortunately my least favorite item. The outside was nicely fried and crispy, but when I bit into it there was a surprising amount of moisture inside. I know shrimp toast should have a moist, tender filling, but this went beyond moist for me and almost felt waterlogged. There was shrimp flavor, but I also picked up an odd metallic taste that I personally couldn't get past. I only managed one bite. Those two appetizers definitely weren't for me, but they wouldn't stop us from returning. The actual entrées were good, the portions were incredibly generous and we left with plenty of leftovers. There's a huge menu, so we'd definitely be interested in coming back and trying something different next time.
