We started looking up restaurants and Water Street popped up. When we pulled up, we weren't sure if we were at the right place. Based on the raving reviews, we expected a "flashy", fancy place. Instead it was so "unassuming." Upon walking in....it was just what we needed. It felt "home-y." The hostess greeted us with a warm smile and "welcome," along with some salt water taffy. Then we met our server Caden. He was outstanding!!!! He could tell we needed some good food and drinks and boy did he deliver. My husband and I took his recommendations and ordered the "banana old fashion" and crab crostini...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Then we met Cassie!!! She'd stopped by to see if our daughter (9) needed a refill. Her personality, hospitality, and attention was incredible. Between Caden and Cassie, we laughed so hard, quickly forgetting about the long day we'd had. Traveling often and coming from PA; good customer service is rare. So to find somewhere that makes us feel "right at home," is a blessing. My husband and daughter agreed, we had to come back. We returned yesterday for the second time but this time with our family (from ATL). We'd spoken (more like bragged) so much about our last experience, that they were just as excited as us to return. Once again, we saw our girl Cassie (who was just as amazing as the first time) and our server Jamie. Everything from the Chesapeake fondue, calamari, and cream of crab soup to the drinks and the double crab cakes (P.S they are huge...could barely eat one) were incredible. By the end of our meal, our family was just as impressed! Thank you Jamie and Cassie for such a unforgettable experience. We will be back again!!!

Excitedly anticipated reservations at West Chester Seafood Kitchen and our stay out stood the expectations. Oh what fun it is to brunch!!! We arrived with 10:30am reservations, arrived and were promptly seated in the middle of the dining room. This place has so much space! The tables are proportioned about well and love the long bench seating opposed from the kitchen window. Decor is tidy and of modern aesthetic ocean vibes. Everything complemented, including the floor pattern - which I obsessed over, lol. Absolutely adored the built in and all the nautical knick knacks. Our waitress was a doll. Charming, attentive and spoke with great eye contact. We decided on eats and a mid morning cocktail. I had the standard espresso martini and my husband tried one of peanut butter variety. Both deep in espresso flavor and not too sweet. Oysters to start. A half dozen of 3 varieties. So wonderful to be able to select a few kinds to sample. We enjoyed them all. Very clean and super fresh. My husband loves horseradish, so it was so nice they offered their standard cocktail sauce with extra. The mini Tabasco sauce we had to take home as memento. Brunch entrees- my husband went part poultry and I kept true to seafood. He had first the Clam Chowder. Lumps of clam and a mid-cream broth. Nice balance of stock and cream. Potatoes did not overtake. This was light but hearty. He dove into those Chicken and Waffles with delight. A savory waffle - how can you not love. And the honey jalapeño butter, I found as much as I could to dip into. Chicken was most and crisp. Hitting all the texture and flavors- sweet, spicy, crunchy with this dish. Delicious. Now my Lobster Roll- LOBSTER!!!! This was incredible. I ate the whole damn thing. The roll was toasty and buttery. The lobster was juicy and plentiful, it was allowed to stand on its own. Didn't push up on too much mayo, or celery, or tarragon. Let the seafood shine - and it did!! The fries were hand cut, and freshly fried. Only critique was the slaw. It was just there. Would recommend to nix it. It didn't add to the dish. This Lobster Roll I will keep in my thoughts of how I am now tainted against all others. Wonderfully done. We cannot wait to venture down again and experience more of their menu. Ahoy!! Come here to eat! King of the Sea in the Dub C!

These folks sell a Bay Box consisting of 3 perfectly seasoned crabs, about a half pound or more of shrimp, and a tasty ear of roasted local corn on a cob. $20! Perfect for my appetite and wallet. Food was on point as it always is. The weight for food was quite long longer than it should've been, but our waitress seems to be teaching other new people coming in, so I believe that's what the delay was. She was super nice so I can't bring her. She had her hands full. Our food is always excellent with 10 of us. We start with a bunch of different appetizers and everyone else gets an individual meal and the food is always on point. Then we were just here again on Friday. Weather sucks so it was pretty dead, but we were able to sit outside at the bar on the cover deck. Our waitress was fantastic super nice and fast. I had an orange crush and he had a jack and cake. Both were on point. We did the new blackened crab cake appetizer that is many times as we come here. I honestly never even realize was on there so I have to assume it was new. Was very good but pricey for only four little crab cakes. The lemon sauce that accompany the mini crabcakes was fantastic! There is a 3% charge at all tax so if you don't want to pay that charge, don't come here.
