I found Lee's Asian Bistro on a subreddit and saw it had great reviews so we gave it a try. All of this food (plenty of leftover) was $65. The place might be a family business because a middle school kid was running the front. The cook/food runner was very nice and quick. The food came out hot and fresh! The place is small, tucked away between a Pizza Hut and a Pub. We got the rangoons for free (very nice gesture!). The broccoli in garlic sauce was so good! I've been craving crunchy veggies and this hit the spot. The crispy chicken Szechuan style was so good! Super crispy and the sauce was addicting. The shrimp toast was also crunchy and had nice flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was as you expected of a basic item, nothing too special. The pan fried dumplings were perfect to me. Crispy outside, savory inside and the dipping sauce was a great sauce! We will *definitely* be back to try more of their menu. read more

Best Chinese food in Harford County. (Although they also sell dishes inspired by Thailand and Japan, the owners have about 30 years of experience in this industry)! My husband and I are constantly impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness, portions, and food quality. Everything is phenomenal. This is the ONLY place you will find that sells General Tso's chicken using GOOD cuts of white meat. It's not soggy, fatty breading or rubbery questionable dark meat like many other takeout places try to pass off as "chicken." As you can see in my picture, it's exceptional quality and very tender. It does seem like they changed the recipe a bit; it used to have more breading (but it was very crispy, never fatty) but now it doesn't have as much. It's still fantastic and way superior to other restaurants, but I miss the crispy breading and hope to see it back eventually. Everything is cooked perfect, however, and portion sizes will never let you down. It seems like whenever we spend $60+ there's either usually free donuts or crab rangoons, both of which are to die for! It's unfortunate that 2020/2021 they had an issue with wait times, because that really brought down their reviews on Yelp. However, they've worked everything out and now I'm able to pick up a $65 order in ~10 minutes. I haven't had a problem with the wait since the whole pandemic, when just about everywhere had issues. I will add, despite those wait times, they would ALWAYS make it up with generous portion sizes and a lot of freebies. If you want consistent, great tasting food cooked to perfection, make sure you give this place a try. You're doing yourself a disservice going anywhere else for Asian food. While we typically order takeout, the dining area inside looks very nice and clean. I would give this a billion stars if I could. read more

So i will say that i had high expectations of this place because of the review a friend gave, because i waited so long to get it and last but most importantly because I almost died getting home from picking it up (torrential rain with thunder and lightening in the pitch black night ). So when i got home and opened my Shrimp Fried rice and Shrimp and broccoli to see the large plump shrimp in both, i got really excited. Shrimp and broccoli (mild spicy) was YUM!!! The shrimp are large, the sauce flavorful and the broccoli cooked to perfection. Perfect. Perhaps the best I've had. 5 +stars easy Large Shrimp fried rice- i don't typically eat a lot of rice but wanted to try it so i paid extra to sub my plain rice for this. Well worth it. Like the shrimp and broccoli, the shrimp were large, and there were a lot of them. The rice cooked perfectly. 5+ stars Spring roll- i didn't like it at all. It was way too greasy. I tried to eat the inside but the flavor was off putting and way too greasy as well. 2 stars The restaurant is nice and clean. Not very large but comfortable it seems. Ms. Lee's Asian Bistro has been in business for 30 years, and it's easy to see why. The food is delicious with extremely generous portions. Mushu pork - The sauce is good, but you won't need much of it since it's well seasoned. We had 3 pretty big wraps and still had over half left too! Beef lo mien - My personal favorite. The beef was tender and the noodles had a nice texture and flavor. Beef and String Beans - The sting beans were awesome. I still have no idea how to make them both not raw but still crunchy like this. Hot and sour soup - Perfect for the weather. They have a generous amount of crispy noodles if that's your thing. The meat in it was tender, and there's a nice variety of texture from all the ingredients. Mini Donuts - A little unintuitive, but I recommend the mini donuts. I know, donuts from an Asian place??? But I promise you, they're great. Not too sweet, chewy and crispy and warm. Yum... Ms. Lee herself was lovely, and service was way above and beyond what my family expected from an Asian restaurant. I travel a lot and have tried fast food Chinese everywhere. Most places meet the average standard but this place definitely stood out. I was surprised when I called my pick up order during the dinner that it was a 40 minute wait but I was not disappointed and it turned out to be well worth it. We ate there on a busy Saturday evening and the girl who was answering the phone, taking walk-in orders, and ringing everyone up, was ALSO the waitress of all of the tables. She was amazing. You could tell they were working their tails off in the kitchen too, based on the occasional noises and the sheer volume of food in which they were putting out. Usually is pretty good, love the General Tso chicken, Lo mein and egg foo young but every time I go and try something a little different it's horrible. The pineapple chicken was a solid 3/10 and this chow mein looks like it was never even stir fried just cooked in a broth and is all veggies and meat with no noodles. Very disappointing. Just got take out and brought the food home and found out the order was wrong , instead of chicken cashew they gave me a beef broccoli . Also I ordered the dinner combo and did not receive an egg roll with my combo. Second time here ! Food is good and they gave us so many fortune cookies and sauces ! I love fortune cookies so I won't complain but I do not use 24 soy sauce packets... or 20 duck sauces or 18 mustard packets so it's just wasteful to give out so many. read more

Decent place but not much competition in this area of town. You get a lot of food and it's not much better or worse than the typical Chinese takeout place. The inside seems clean and it is in one of the more developed areas in town surrounded by hotels, a Pizza Hut, and a bar & grill. One of the main issues with this one is that everything seems overloaded with soy sauce and oils. I had a hard time finishing the meal, but I've had worse. what happened? We have been devoted followers of Mrs Lee since her days in Forest Hill. When she opened her restaurant on Philadelphia Road we got carry-out at least twice a month. Daughter and all her friends traveled from all around Harford County to enjoy the food. But then something changed. The past year the foods quality and taste have taken a turn for the worst. After several disappointing orders, some which we tossed, we stopped going. Our friends and family the same experience. Mrs Lee was our go to favorite carry out, bar none. I would say that this place is not as good as Lemon and Ginger. We went here twice in two weeks and I got the chicken in garlic sauce and then the Hunan chicken. I had the white rice with the garlic chicken and it was good. The second time I had the Hunan chicken and it was ok. However, it was super salty and when paired with the fried rice it made it saltier. So if you're in a bind and are hungry, ok. You've got a 50/50 chance of getting a good meal. read more
