It is technically sustenance, but was some of the most bland Chinese food I've had. Nothing horrible, just very bland.

Not worth it. Definitely disappointed with the quality of food and the price point. I trusted the decent reviews yet, regret my decision.

I'm gonna be completely honest: their customer service sucks, but their food is good. I have found a loophole that keeps me ordering from them. I never call to place an order, and I recommend you not either. I always order via their online ordering service through Yelp. I make notes so they don't do things like send me white rice when I've paid $2.50 extra for fried rice. It's a shame it has come to that, but if you want some good Chinese food delivered at a decent price, skip interacting with them as much as you can and enjoy the ease the internet brings! We got delivery to Wallace Road. A sesame chicken "combo" and a sweet and sour chicken "combo". The combos came with an egg roll and rice, no drinks. We had to order two diet pepsi bottles. We paid a little over $18 + tip ($3.50) in total. The food was your average Chinese food....except they didn't give us those crunchy things I was craving or napkins. Also, the lady on the phone understood English very well. On a positive note, the portions were great, My boyfriend was full, and I couldn't finish my food. Overall it wasn't horrible by any means, BUT I've had way better Chinese food. If I was visiting the area again I would try one of the amazing looking Mexican joints nearby instead. read more

This restaurant is disgusting dirty staff is unprofessional their food is horrible, quite a few pieces of hair in our food when I took it back the lady at the front started to argue instead of fixing my food right and refused to refund the money because I threw $35 worth of food in the trash, so I went home and took all her food out of our trash and took it to her then she refunded my money and she never apologized, so I would highly suggest not ordering or eating at this establishment. read more

This is the nastiest Chinese food, do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. I had the house Lo Mein and the shrimp was dreadful, tasted spoiled. We called and advised we was missing something, at first she read the order back as we ordered the food then tried to correct herself after she realized she stated the item we stated was missing. Their food is okay and better than most Chinese food in the area but they ALWAYS forget a couple things like the sauces for egg foo young, egg rolls and sweet and sour sauce. I wish someone there would double check the bag before sending it out.. Other than that, customer service is not great. They are rude and impatient. But I will stay nice anyway. I ordered food for delivery plus a Sprite. They brought me a Coke instead, not what I ordered. I asked for them to bring be back a Sprite like I ordered. Two hours later and no drink. When I called to ask for the drink that I paid for, I was treated rudely. She finally told me that they were out of Sprite. OK, then why wasn't I given a call to tell me before the delivery? If I could put 0 stars I would ... Worse customer service ever! Ordered combination rice added $2 shrimp didn't receive right amount paid for on a delivery order. I had my 9 year old daughter with me and asked for the order to be made correctly. He handpicked through the food to count the shrimp then refunded me my money and refused to make the order correctly. They are awful and rude and have been in the Antioch community way to long to be this rude and disrespectful. I am tired of china house and will hope that no one will order from them until they learn to show the community some sort of respect and value us as customers. I have been eating at China house since they opened.I order delivery there weekly. Last night I ordered baby shrimp and fried rice.was what i really had a taste for.When I got home with it, the shrimp were so overcooked,actually burnt. I took them back this morning as soon as they opened. All i asked for was another order of baby shrimp.the manager got irate...refused to fix me more shrimp, and screamed at me.he said that they were like they always were...i order them all the time. Pretty solid. Been ordering from here for about 5 years I guess. Found them initially because they were the only Chinese place in my hood (Antioch) that I can order online via Eat24 or GrubHub without talking to anyone. I've had some deliveries better than others, but I've never had any major problems and it's consistently good. I have tried many chinese restaurants in Nashville and I prefer them the best. Fast delivery and the men are super nice. Prices are cheap for the amount of food you get. The best thing about them are their steamed dumplings. THE BEST in Nashville. Their dipping sauce is amazing. Don't get them fried, get them steamed. I also really like their pork chow mein, not lo mein. And above all, I am such a fan of the orange chicken. I have had better fried rice but still, this place is pretty awesome. read more

First time ordering from China House tonight. The food was pretty good and on par with what I'd expect from a take-out chinese joint... I love that I can order online and pay and whatnot. What was seriously lacking was the delivery guy....the creepy silence....the lack of eye contact...the complete lack of social effort....clearly the man hates his job... The sweet and sour pork did not include pineapple or bell pepper, which is odd; it was just fried pork waiting for sauce which was on the side. The egg rolls were an average taste that you might find at just about any chinese restaurant, commercially bought. The delivery was faster than I expected. 2 meals came to 16.50 and I gave the fellow a $20 and called it done. For delivery it's a fine deal, but the meals will not blow you out of your chair... it will just fill you up. There's plenty of food. read more
