Orange. CHicken. Kids are in Chinese heaven
Yasser H.

My kids wanted to have Americanized Chinese for lunch and dragged me to china house. As it was lunch time, there were numerous items available on the lunch special. We went with the following items from the lunch special: Chicken fried rice Kung Pao chicken Chicken lo mein Pepper steak General Tso chicken Chicken Szechuan They loved their dishes. They were just smacking away with the General Tso, kung pao. The lo mein was very good too and so were the rice. The serving size seemed small but it was sufficient and appetizing. I had the pepper steak and it was good. While I prefer authentic Sichuan style Chinese, every now and then I give in to my children's craving for Americanized style Chinese. This restaurant also caters halal meat, so for those with a more strict diet/ religious restriction, inquire within.

Much better this time. Super fresh. Tasted good. Fair price. Pepper Steak Combo $8.50. With fried rice and egg roll. Egg roll was dry and crusty. But rest of meal was great

I have a peanut allergy. I found out the hard way that they seal their egg rolls close with peanut butter. Afraid to try anything else.

Hot. Fresh. Fast…read more You will not be disappointed by this place. Likely the most affordable and authentic ramen in the area. Try the crispy pork to share and a bowl of ramen -- you will be beyond full!

Oh hell yeah, I came here last Friday by high recommendation from my friend who is a local here and…read moreshe told me this was the original location and just better. Their online menu does not have the pictures that the in store one has and woowee it is a lot of choices of noodles! Amongst the 4 of us, we ordered the pork tip noodle, the Peking pork (zhajiangmian), hot oil wide noodle, beef tendon knife noodle. YUM! The noodles are handmade, handpulled and you can customize the shape and thickness you want! The portions as you can see are massive and the prices are very reasonable! $14/$15 a bowl! My pork rib tips were too tough but still seasoned. I would say their Peking style zhajiangmian is pleasantly less authentic and I liked this version better than the original! It included a braised full egg, and not too much of the cloyingly sweet and intense sauce. We ordered and within 2 minutes we were served fresh bowls of piping hot noods. Our server was efficient, warm, knowledgeable and bilingual. She said I looked like a popular Hong Kong singer, like OMG what a cute compliment! There was convenient parking and it was really close to my friend's house. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants and my go to Chinese spot. The food is…read moreconsistently good and the staff is friendly :) They have a ton of vegetarian options which is not the case for other Chinese restaurants in the area. I often get the family style tofu dinner with fried rice and a spring roll. The spring rolls are much better than other restaurants I've tried and also vegetarian. My partner is always happy with the chicken dishes and pad Thai he orders. Also the leftovers reheat really well when I take them to work.. This is a busy spot and something I appreciate is that it's always hot by the time I get back home. I drive across town 15 minutes bc the food is so good. On occasion it's so busy that I have to wait a few minutes for pick up but I would much rather the food be fresh from the kitchen than sitting in a shelf waiting to be picked up. I hope this place stays in the neighborhood for many many years to come. Thank you, Happy Wok

It did say that it comes with fried rice and an egg roll but other places have said that but you don't with a noodle dishes. When I opened the Styrofoam container I found half of it. Less than half is noodles with less than the normal shrimp. Not even average compared to the others I have eaten. The egg roll was nothing to write home about. I have no clue why all the higher star reviews except they haven't eaten at some of the wonderful places I have. I will not be back.
