I got the General Tso's chicken combination. It was inedible. Weird red sauce tasted like hickory smoked bbq sauce with 2 cups of sugar added. Sickeningly sweet. All breading and very little chicken (I hope it was chicken couldn't tell for sure). The rice was yellow not typical fried rice. It had no flavor but was not greasy. I've had better from a box. The egg roll was actually a normal size (other Chinese restaurants egg rolls have shrank considerably since the pandemic if you have noticed) but it was literally dripping grease. The place seemed clean though. But the food is now in the garbage. Waste of money and I still need to eat something. So disappointed! read more

Today I had chicken w. mixed vegs. with fried rice and egg roll. All was fresh and will make 3 meals (that much) (prepared in too-go container-I guess they realize that), wife had same but shrimp, also great. Lunch special 11:00 - 3:00 (Tue.-Sun.), slightly reduced price but includes fried rice instead of regular white rice. Food is always fantastic! We know they are a family run business so we make sure to order from them as frequently as we can. They are actually the only Chinese food restaurant we order from in Irmo. The check out system they have developed for COVID is genius! Also, I like that they assign an order number rather than ask for your name. Seems like a much simpler way to manage orders. read more

I had the Boneless Spare Ribs combination plate. It was yummy! It came with pork fried rice which was great and egg roll which was also really good. I don't usually eat the egg rolls because I don't like them, but I really like this one. The restaurant itself is very simple. There were only 4 or 5 tables. But it is clean. This was a typical Chinese to go place. You could eat there but I think most people order it to go. It took awhile to get our order so I would suggest calling it in and picking it up. Our main food was actually better than most quick Chinese places. The sesame chicken and fried rice were good. The egg roll was good too. The fried wontons? Eh. I got the pork ones. I might try the cheese one s at some point but the pork ones were so crunchy that I might just steer clear. It's pretty cheap and easy and not bad for fast Chinese food. Normally this is our go-to place for fast and reasonable Chinese food. We are pretty much regulars and the business operates as a quick server, take out restaurant. I placed an order at 5:53 and told 10 - 15 minutes. I arrived at 6:11 and asked several times about my order. I left at 6:43. There was no explanation and no acknowledgement about why it was taking an hour to cook food that should take no longer than 5 minutes. It was not even that busy. I give the food a 4 out of 5 but tonight I knocked the rating down to a 2 because they did not appear to be able to operate a restaurant properly today. read more
