Please do not eat here. I was getting a smoothie from tropical smoothie cafe today 5-4-19 around 220pm and I saw a mother and 3 children grabbing the ducks or geese or whatever the birds are called. It appeared the mother was showing the kids a the baby bird (in a weird aggressive way). Finally I got my shake and was pulling out of tropical smoothie and asked the lady what she was doing with the baby birds. She just looked at me and walked into the back of this restaurant. I was mind blown as to what had happened. I did not know what to do, so I called the police and reported it. It grossed me out because the mother bird was trying to get the babies back, but the lady continued to walk into the restaurant. Just warning everybody. This is disgusting read more

Always excellent food! Made fresh and delivered hot. It's our regular Chinese food favorite!

So here was my experience: I have called in an order here numerous times. Despite the mediocre reviews I thought there food was pretty good. I used Postmates for the first time to place a delivery and it was abruptly cancelled 15 minutes later. I called to place the same order for pickup because I wanted hot and sour soup for my cold and was willing to drive to get it. The worker proceeded to yell at me on the phone saying she didn't accept postmates and I said I am not with postmates. She accepted the order. So my wife went to pick it up and she yelled at her and called her a liar when she said she was picking up her husbands order....completely done with this place. Moore needs to push them out. read more

China House is my favorite Chinese takeout in Oklahoma. They are very friendly, their delivery is fast and easy. They always say "40 minutes" for delivery and they are there in about ten minutes. read more

The food at this place use to be great when they first opened this location, but it's hit and miss now. Great one day and old tasting most of the other times. Now, the rude customer service is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. You'd think they would speak to customers way better than they do since they rely on our hard earned money to stay open, but I guess not. I just thank God, I found a waaaaayyyy better Chinese Restaurant that taste way, way better and treats their customers with the kind of respect you would expect from a small family restaurant business. Please trust me and try Mandarin Chinese across from Crest Foods on Eastern Ave off of 12th street in Moore, OK. Food is fine but the customer service is garbage. We just called to get delivery but the guy on the phone said they don't deliver to our house. When we said that they'd delivered here several times before, he argued and said they didn't. Then he hung up on us. read more

Food wasn't just bland. General tso no spice basically sesame chicken without sesame. Sesame chicken very tame flavor. Sweet and sour chicken, sauce was very watered down sugar and red dye. Egg drop soup watered down also. Would not recommend this place. They do deliver, but would rather not have found that out. read more

This had been our favorite place to order food, ordered at least once a week. Now tonight, our food took longer than normal, no problem, it is Friday, I understand. However the food was cold. I called China House to let them know and the owner, Ling, told me that it was Friday and they are busy so there is no way the food is cold. He said that if we didn't open the food, we could have a full refund, otherwise he would offer a 10% discount on the next order. Food is decent. But the service is horrible some of worst I have every experienced. Placed an order, waited for an hour, called the restaurant to check the status because the food should have been delivered within 45-60min. Was told "oh no, sorry so busy, it will be another hour" I told the person who was on the phone with me that was unacceptable since I had already be waiting for hour! She then stated okay, 20 minutes. Well an hour later, my food has still not arrived, called back and was told driver is on their way. Asked for a refund, was told how about a free coke, or discount next order. Well guess what I have no desire to order for a place that takes two hours for delivery and doesn't seem to really care about making the customer happy. I was just asking what my total was at because it didn't meet the $15 minimum for delivery yet and then she hung up the phone on me!! Got carry out today and not very good for what I paid for the food. Just fair, the Pu Pu platter was greasy, the Happy Family chief special was really bland and they were cheep on the shrimp. Id spend you money on a better place like Dot Woo!!! read more

These guys are hit or miss. We normally have them deliver. It normally gets here quickly. Considering I only live a mile and a half. That shouldn't be much of a problem. I don't order seafood anymore because it always seems to fishy.(shrimp) when I oder homemade mustard sauce they send the one in a retail pack. Which is terrible. We order here about once a month for 5 or 6 people. I give them a better rating but can't get shrimp because it is never fresh. read more

I'll start with the good: I called in my delivery order and the woman on the phone spoke decent English. The delivery was on time and the driver polite. Everything was packaged very well. Nothing was spilled or soaking through the paper bag. That's a plus. Now for the not-so-great. First, let me start by explaining what I compare all Chinese food to. August Moon, if you're familiar with it, was the best Chinese food anyone could get without being in China. It was perfect. So fresh, the best quality ingredients, fried foods tasted fresh, never like old oil or anything. Their sweet and sour sauce was made in house. It was orange, thick, tasted like citrus. Absolutely heaven on earth, that sauce. I've never tasted anything like it anywhere else. Unfortunately, they closed about 3 or 4 years ago. They were open for 30-something years and I think the economy got to them. SO SAD. It's what I grew up on so I'm pretty biased when it comes to really good Chinese food. With that being said, I ordered the family dinner for two. It comes with different options, but I got the sweet and sour chicken, 2 egg rolls, egg drop soup, fried rice and a side order of crab rangoon. First of all, the chicken tasted weird. Like it had an old oil aftertaste. It was good at first, but the more I ate, the more I didn't like it. The egg roll was good at first. Doesn't have a bad overall flavor, but the pork in it was seriously just the unwanted bits. It had cartilage and fat. No meat that I could tell. Oh, the sweet and sour sauce, such a disappointment. If you're used to the candy red, runny, burn your nose with vinegar fumes kind, then you'll like it. As stated above, this is not what I call sweet and sour sauce. Just no. The egg drop soup was actually okay. Nothing great but it didn't taste bad. The crab rangoon wasn't terrible. No trace of crab at all and strangely sweet, but still not the worst I've ever had. Lastly, was the pork fried rice. The pork was actually real meat, I think. It was red (weird) and tasted off. The rice had a decent flavor but was loaded with peas, carots and tons of huge chunks of nearly raw white onion. I got tired of picking around it so I just gave up. They had veggie fried rice on their menu so I assumed that the pork fried rice wouldn't have the veggies. It's my fault for not asking, but I HATE peas and carots in rice. Blech. This is just my own personal opinion. I am fully willing to admit that I have high standards when it comes to Chinese food. Thank you, August Moon. I just enjoyed a dinner (and BTW it was delivered to my front door within 25 min. of my online order) from China House. The food was hot, plenty to eat and they even included the extra crispy noodles I asked for. I will be ordering all of my Chinese food from here from this point forward. read more
