We went on a Saturday night and it was a little busy so we sat at the bar. They started us with some complimentary cucumbers which were pretty good. We got the sushi for 2 which was a variety of nigiri with 2 rolls. Honestly such a good price for the amount of sushi and it comes with soup and salad. The fish was fresh and delicious! I hate to give such a low review because my husband and I eat here often and had never had a problem... up until today. We get in and the place is packed (which is what we're used to), whatever. They get us seated and grab our drinks but then they take 20 mins to come back to take our order. We decided to give them some grace for that but then When the employee was taking our order she rushed us and barley even let us finish ordering; didn't even get the order completely right she didn't input a few items I had asked for. It takes them another 30+ minutes for our plates to be brought to us; half that time the plates were just sitting on the counter getting cold while the waitress is literally running out every other plate and helping every other table. Then, when the waitress saw us visibly upset after sitting there for an hour (we still had yet to receive only 2 plates of sushi rolls) she decides to stand there (not busy at all, all of the sudden) and stare at us, giggling and talking low/in another language to another employee. I had seen multiple people and tables who showed up at the same time as us or after us be served and set on their merry way and the whole time we were just waiting to have our orders taken and food served. My husband and I just wanted to celebrate our anniversary but instead our time and money was just completely wasted. And then to be disrespected when we showed nothing but respect? Pathetic. These employees need to show some accountability/general respect because why are they getting snarky and passive aggressive with me when the employee is the one that can't even do their job right? Do better. I decided not to say anything, just ate my cold food and left. Why? Because it would've been no use having to spell it all out to her dumbass. Plus I knew it would've been excuse after excuse as to why the service was trash. The sushi tasted delicious and i enjoyed the service and atmosphere greatly. They even said they were doing everything they could to accommodate my gluten allergy. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 5, is because they handed me a bottle of soy sauce with a hand written sticker that said "gluten free" which was a red flag. I should have ran at that point. But I asked the waitress again "is this gluten free because the ingredients have the word WHEAT, in them. Which I'm highly allergic to. She assured me it was just a bottle. However I did get sick from my meal, so either something in my sushi or the soy sauce had gluten. I have instant reaction. I'm disappointed and won't be eating here again. Celiacs beware. The sushi rolls here are amazing with a really big variety. I got my son a bento box expecting it to be tiny but for a child portion it was nearly a full size bento box, plenty of delicious leftovers. The fried rice was so good, my daughter went nuts for it. They had a large selection of drinks that I'll definitely come back to try without the kids. The service was wonderful, trying to wrangle 2 little kids is often a challenge but the waitress helped me get my son into his booster seat and make sure he could reach the table while I was trying to handle 2 kids at once. The restaurant isn't very big, kinda a little hole in the wall, but it's cozy and the artwork is really beautiful. Apparently on Tuesdays they have a special of buy one get one 50% off on special rolls so I had to be a big back and get 2 rolls. I've also never seen this at this type of restaurant but they brought out complementary pickled cucumbers and me and my boy probably could have just eaten those all day. My coworker and I felt like eating hibachi for lunch and we found this while driving to Oklahoma City. This is an excellent choice for lunch time eats!! It didn't take long for the waitress to come over and get our order. I ordered the Teriyaki shrimp with veggies and salad (no rice) and he ordered the Bento box with salmon. My food was delicious. I didn't realize I'd get that large of a portion for lunch. I couldn't eat it all so I ended up taking the rest to go. The atmosphere was laid back even though there were quite a bit of people there for lunch. We both enjoyed it and we'll be sure to visit again when traveling for work in the area. read more

I live in S OKC, so decent sushi is a bit of a drive from me. However, this Volcano location is pretty great. It's definitely in my restaurant rotation, especially during lunch time! They offer a bento box for around $10, give or take, and you get your choice of sushi, sashimi, grilled items, katsu and more! Each box also includes soup and salad as well. Such a deal! Other favorites from this place include their sashimi platter and eel rice dish. Service here is always prompt. And the servers, are super attentive. Literally had my water refilled constantly! They just recently remodeled, so the restaurant is looking extra nice lately. Seating is plentiful but very quaint. I've seen them accommodate a large party of over a dozen people, but they literally took up the whole restaurant, if that gives you an idea. Worth a visit though for a sushi fix without too far of a commute when you're on the south side of town. read more

A friend and I ordered carryout since we were both going through sushi withdrawals. We placed the order via phone, and our order (4 rolls) was ready in about 15 minutes. Currently, they do everything outside, so you walk up, tell them the name, and they take your payment right there. When we were finally able to stop and eat, it was absolutely worth the delay. All 4 rolls are good-sized and looked wonderful. I wish they would've been separated, but that's just me being picky. Both of my rolls were spicy, which the spice level was perfect. I also has them hold the cream cheese because cream cheese in sushi is horrible hahaha. I was very impressed with the flavors. All in all, I think I found my new sushi place for Moore. Haven't been to this location in a few years , but it never ever disappoints. My favorite is the Mango Magic. Only reason we come here. I've moved north, but this is still one of my all time fav sushi places to go to. Apparently, it's no longer a hidden gem when I stumbled upon it 6-7 years ago because it was super busy for a random Saturday afternoon past lunch time. This is my favorite sushi place. I have been eating here since they opened. The owner (used to run the sushi bar himself before opening new locations) is down to earth and cool guy. The service is fast, friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. The sushi is top notch for a restaurant that is so far from the ocean. You can't beat the lunch bento that is served 11-4 everyday of the week for less than $10 (every sixth box is free if you keep up with the punch card). I like the clear soup, especially. They also have a lot of options. It kept me fed when I was a struggling college student, but will keep going back as long as they are in business. They do BOGO half off special rolls on Tuesdays. They rotate the specials, so there is always a new roll to try. They also have good hibachi for those who aren't into sushi. We ordered some sushi to go after having lost power and looking for something yummy to eat. It was my first time here and I had the most amazing customer service. This really impacted me because it was such short interactions of ordering and picking up our food and I was so happy walking out the door! We ordered two specialty rolls being the butterfly roll, the earthquake roll, and the miso soup. Both rolls were amazing my favorite being the earthquake since it had alternating tops of snapper tuna and avocado making me feel like each piece was a new roll!
