Not only was there and no one in this restaurant or just one person at the cashier. I would…read moresuggest calling first because that's the only way you're gonna get his attention. He did not acknowledge my presence nor did he even say I'll be with you in a moment. So don't do walk in. I mean at least nod or acknowledge my presence. It has been now 20 minutes, For my to go soup order, sweet sour and egg drop and I am still waiting. He blamed it on the change of management and whatever other excuse you wanna make for the delay, but I can tell you in my experience of living in the area for over 15 years. This place has gone downhill considerably. It's the only Chinese restaurant left that still makes Hanauer and they drop soup as opposed to soaring dragon, which unfortunately is closed on Tuesdays. So just a quick note never go to try it down on Tuesdays. It is now been 30 minutes. I'm still waiting on two soups. When I got home, not only were the crispies stale, but it taste like the soup with old Chinatown is old town. I'm not coming back.

We had edamame, ribs, calamari, lettuce wraps and sake! Holy smokes ! It is on par w my fave place P.F. Chang's! The waitress was a sweetheart and it was a 2-5 shift which is normally dead zone ( I'm a former waitress) and she still insisted on packing our to go boxes! I'll definitely be going or picking up food from here a lot! Thank you China town !

Who knew excellent Thai is here in Kerville?!?!? Yall did and now we know it too. Started with the…read moresoft shrimp spring rolls. Delicious and the peanut sauce had the right amount of spice. We devoured them pretty quickly. I had the green curry with chicken (2 star heat) was probably some of the best green curry I have had. The green beans were crisp and the eggplant was tender and that curry sauce....exceptional. Hubby had the soft shell crab with steamed veggies (4 star heat) he thoroughly enjoyed the crisp veggies and the crab was seasoned perfectly. Next time he said will choose 5 stars. He likes it HOT! Our server was super attentive and all the waitstaff were so kind shen hubby brok a jar of soy sauce (sorry again for the mess). Ambience is nice and wuiet, perfect for date night. We will be back!

We ate at Thai O'cha while staying in Kerrville and had a great dinner…read more After a couple nights of chicken fried steak, burgers, and fried seafood we were hoping to grab something different for dinner and Thai O'cha popped up on Yelp as a top local favorite. The restaurant is in what looks like a repurposed house which added to the warm home vibes when we walked in. I didn't get a long look about though because we asked to sit outside to enjoy the rainstorm and view of the river below. (They have 3-4 tables on their covered back porch overlooking the river. Great spot if they're open) Service was good. The waiter was on top of our needs and wasn't gone for too long at any time. He also greeted other diners like old friends when they came in, so they clearly have a solid local following. The menu offers all the greatest hits of American Thai food, pad thai, curries, spring rolls, drunken noodles, Tom Yum, and so forth. Everything we ordered was great and scratched that Thai food craving itch. In the hill country and looking for a great view and something off the beaten path? Thai O'cha might be the answer!
