This soup hit the spot! It was so good! The lady behind the desk was amazing! Understood exactly what I was requesting. Even though I did not know the name.. great service! 1/4/2025

The chicken wrap appetizer has really changed. Now it's a lot more veggies and the bitter iceberg lettuce. So very disappointing.

Feast after our 5hrs hike! From Lost Maples we tried to find a worthy restaurant to go to, to eat our heart out. And found this asian restaurant in Bandera. We were assisted immediately and have our order taken and served in sequence. We had our soup (egg drop and wonton) and appetizer (egg roll and crab rangoon) Both of the soup tastes so well! It just help me calmed and feel home. While the egg roll, you know you are paying a real deal - you get all the ingredient you need. While the crab rangoon it just so generous with the cream cheese. The staff were just nice and attentive. By the way, I am comparing these foods to all of the asian food we visited in San Antonio, Texas and other states that serves the food. General Tso was on point - one of the bests we had. The chicken still crispy even soaked with sauce. While the Clay Hotpot was just giving away all the meat and veggies they can. I One more plus in this restaurant, the water doesn't taste off - one thing we were so happy. This is one of the treasures in Bandera. And a good place to go to after a long hike or trek.

Wow, who would have known that Bandera would have a good Chinese restaurant. It's not your typical Panda Express. Most the dishes are Cantonese style. It's not Chinese food from a big city but it's pretty darn good for a small town. On top of that, the prices are great!

This China Bowl is very clean. The food came out as ordered and nice and hot ( the way we like it). Service was excellent. I had the shrimp with vegetables. It was very hot and tasty. The staff is courteous.

Ordered pan fried dumplings. Got store bought freezer burnt garbage that was half the size of what they used to sell. Won't be going back

I ordered Kung pao chicken. It wasn't very good. The peanuts sat on top and weren't blended in. The white rice was tasteless...and cheap.

He did not acknowledge my presence nor did he even say I'll be with you in a moment. So don't do walk in. I mean at least nod or acknowledge my presence. It has been now 20 minutes, For my to go soup order, sweet sour and egg drop and I am still waiting. He blamed it on the change of management and whatever other excuse you wanna make for the delay, but I can tell you in my experience of living in the area for over 15 years. This place has gone downhill considerably. It's the only Chinese restaurant left that still makes Hanauer and they drop soup as opposed to soaring dragon, which unfortunately is closed on Tuesdays. So just a quick note never go to try it down on Tuesdays. It is now been 30 minutes. I'm still waiting on two soups. When I got home, not only were the crispies stale, but it taste like the soup with old Chinatown is old town. I'm not coming back.

I'll definitely be going or picking up food from here a lot! Thank you China town !

I loved the more natural and peaceful vibe they had going on here with all the types of fish used in sushi adorning the wall and warm lighting. They had a nice goldfish tank where I was sitting and on the TV some Animal Kingdom or something like it playing nearby. The waiter came promptly and gave great suggestions for meals and appetizers. The Hawaiian shrimp was a big hit. The sauce had a sweet and spicy combo that knocked my socks off! Something about that cilantro honey mixed with Sriracha made me an instant fiend. When the main course came I told our waiter I was gonna give the chopsticks a go but was a little intimidated he told me "did you know you don't have to follow the instructions on the paper" and showed me some other cool techniques. I just loved the charm and experience that was Sake, and I see why they come so highly recommended by many people in Fredericksburg and Kerrville. I will have to make this a regular spot.
