Went to this Asian restaurant while in Fredericksburg and it was ok. The chicken was decent but the Kung Pao Beef was really good. They also serve alot of portion so you won't be disappointed. Fast service as well. It has alot of choices on the menu for everyone. Great find for those hungry for chinese, japanese food in Fredericksburg

We were in Fredericksburg for the weekend and tried Asian Garden for the 1st time. The food was excellent & generous portions. We had leftovers for the next day! Service was excellent with Lauren- very kind & gave great menu recommendations !

For small-town Hill Country Chinese food - this is a solid choice. The staff bring some really good Chinese and assorted Asian fare to Fredericksburg. I have dined here many times and am impressed with the selections available, as well as the quality. I think I have gone out more for Chinese here than back in the DFW metroplex, as this is one of Mama J's favorites. When we bring my mom here, we usually get the same items: hot and sour soup, wonton soup, spring rolls, steamed dumplings, and Crab Rangoon. We just split a bunch of appetizers and have a family style meal of it. The food comes out fast, hot, and delicious every time. The dumplings are as good as any I have had anywhere, and the restaurant's house made mustard (take small doses first) makes for elevating your egg rolls (and tolerance) to new levels. Did I warn you about the mustard? Don't come here expecting Texas Hill Country hospitality, though, the staff is more businesslike than friendly, but they are hustling to get you served with some seriously legit food. Tomorrow (04/03/22) we will see how takeout goes after a 25 minute drive. It is worth the venture.

Great food and service. Try to come here every chance we get. They're not too many places like this in the Hill Country. It's a very good find.

Crap! Owner is RUDE! Food was gross and no seasoning! Never coming back. Owner yelled at us for asking for extra seasoning. He wanted to charge us. They charge for everything. Way too expensive

Food and service were excellent. Not a big crowd was there at lunch. I was surprised we were not offered the buffet.

They had happy hour all day. Happy hour included wine, sake and appetizers. I thought it was such a great deal. We all loved our creamy miso soup. I would go back just for that. When it came to a table, we all looked at it and were iffy about it, but as soon as we tasted it, we all agreed that it is the best we have had. I will admit I don't remember all of names of the dishes, but the ones I remembered we got were the Hotline crispy gyoza, Pepper fin Miso vongole pasta and Kaisendon. We shared a key lime pie. The Keylime pie slices are little small, but after all our food, we were all full . We did all agree that the Keylime pie was missing the tartness we expect from Key lime. We were celebrating my birthday and they gave me a free glass of champagne. I wasn't expecting that, but it was a nice touch. They do have a record player with records available for you to choose from that they can play for you. The restaurant is located below Silos next to Orangetheory. If you don't know where it is at, it will take you a while to find it. It doesn't have a good sign. Parking is available, but shared with the other businesses. We had no issue finding parking

The listening bar concept paired with their state-of-the-art custom sound system makes the atmosphere feel immersive from the second you walk in. The music, lighting, and outstanding service all work together perfectly when you're trying to unwind and decompress after a long week. The lychee martini was smooth, refreshing, and extremely lychee forward. I really enjoyed how they garnished the drink with two whole lychees. I was in heaven and I can honestly say this was one of my favorite cocktails I've had in the city (Thanks for the recommendation Annabelle). Food-wise, everything felt elevated and pieced together beautifully on each plate. The truffle creamy miso soup was warm & comforting with just the right amount of depth and the Asian pear cucumber salad was perfect to cleanse the palate after the soup. The Hawaiian ono was another standout that absolutely delivered. That cilantro oil and the yuzu dance together well with the soft & silky ono. I also really enjoyed the scallop crudo, it also has cilantro oil but this time with ponzu foam. This combination was so good that I absolutely had no shame sipping the married liquid components on the plate between each bite of scallop. Lastly, the wagyu mochi gnocchi is unreal--rich, melt in your mouth mochi gnocchi, savory shrimp and tender wagyu, and this velvety sauce that's semi addicting. This surf-and-turf style dish with seafood and wagyu is where Yozora really flexes; every bite felt balanced, indulgent, and beautifully plated. (This particular evening the sauce on the mochi gnocchi was a touch spicier for me than the first time I visited but I enjoyed every last bite nonetheless). I went a little ham and didn't have room for dessert this time unfortunately. Next time Huge shoutout to my server Annabelle, who made the entire night seamless. My water never even got close to empty, her recommendations were spot on, and she somehow balanced taking care of the bar while still making her tables feel attended to. The rest of the staff even tag teamed service throughout the dining room which I always enjoy seeing. It says a lot about how well the staff and overall concept works together there. Symphony for the soul. Thank you again Annabelle and team for making the whole evening easy to enjoy and adding so much to the experience. Yozora absolutely lives up to the hype. Add it to your list of spots to keep coming back for.

I stepped in, sat down, and pointed at something on the menu that had a picture of glossy, perfect noodles. What arrived... was not that. The noodles were pale, limp, and somehow both soggy and dry at the same time. I took one bite. It tasted like regret. Another bite--worse. There was a strange bitterness, like someone had boiled the concept of disappointment into broth. I waved the server over, but before I could say anything, the lights flickered. Once. Twice. Then everything went dark. When the lights came back on, the restaurant was empty. No customers. No staff. Just me... and the bowl of cursed noodles. A scratching sound echoed from the kitchen. I stood up--because of course I did--and took a few cautious steps forward. The swinging kitchen door creaked open on its own, like it had been waiting for me. Inside, the air smelled... wrong. Earthy. Damp. Ancient. Then something moved. At first I thought it was just a rat. Then I realized it was *far* too big. Then it stood up. "Ah," it said, its voice layered like a chorus of whispers. "The one who tasted the offering." I froze. "The... what?" "The noodles," it said. "A test. And you survived." Before I could respond, the floor beneath me collapsed. -- I woke up in a cavern lit by flickering green fire. Stone pillars carved with writhing rodent shapes surrounded me. In the center stood a towering figure--half rat, half something far older. "The Rat God," it declared, spreading its clawed arms. "Devourer of scraps. King beneath the cities. And now... your opponent." I didn't remember signing up for this. "I just wanted decent noodles," I said. The Rat God hissed. "Then you should have chosen wisely." It lunged. I barely dodged, rolling across the stone floor. My hand hit something--a broken metal ladle. Not exactly a heroic weapon, but I wasn't in a position to be picky. The Rat God struck again, claws carving grooves into the stone. I darted between pillars, heart pounding, trying to think. "Fight," it snarled. "Or be consumed." "Working on it!" I shot back. It charged. At the last second, I leapt aside and slammed the ladle into one of the glowing green flames. The metal flared with eerie light. I didn't question it--I just swung. The ladle connected with the Rat God's side, and it *screeched*, stumbling back. Okay. That worked. Now it was a fight. I ducked, dodged, and struck again, each hit glowing brighter. The cavern shook as the Rat God grew more frantic, more furious. "You are nothing!" it roared. "Yeah?" I said, breathing hard. "I survived your noodles." That seemed to genuinely offend it. With a final, desperate leap, I drove the glowing ladle straight into its chest. There was a blinding flash. Silence. -- I woke up back at my table. The restaurant was normal again. People chatting. Dishes clinking. The server standing beside me. "Everything okay?" they asked. I looked down at my bowl. The noodles looked exactly the same. I pushed it away. "Yeah," I said, standing up. "I'm... not that hungry anymore." As I walked out, I could've sworn I heard a faint voice from the kitchen: "We will meet again..." I didn't look back. Next time, I decided, I was getting takeout from somewhere safer.
